Am I really a teen filled with voices and people inside him? Am I this much of a monster? No, they're wrong, right? I am normal. I am like everybody else, they are the ones that need to be checked out, they are the ones that need the help. I am simply like any other person alive. I mean, I may have my faults and blackouts but that's normal! I am not the person they think I am, I am not some kind of subject that can be fixed with words and medicine, I. Am. Normal! 'Of course, you are, you've always been normal Caeserion. You have us, we've always been here for you. We've always fought beside you, remember? We have never abandoned you like your mother, we never left you, like your mother!" Caeserion stared ahead into a mirror, he could swear that he saw himself, the same hair, facial features and everything else. Only he looked older, he looked like the one in his dreams, the one that had fought for his home. He turned away with wide eyes, this couldn't be real. He was not sick, surely he was not, he was like any other person. 'You are, they're wrong. You're right, you've always been right, don't allow them to tear you away from the work that you've done so far. You're a world-builder, not a sickly person that they have you out to be, just be yourself. We're here to help you.' He continued staring ahead as he watched the distorted hand reach out and place its hand on its side of the mirror. He nodded his head before he noticed the room door open, his sister had entered and he could only stare at the man in the mirror who had soon faded away, seemingly never there before. "Hello Sere- Valerie, how are you?" He did notice his misstep and wondered if there had been some kind of correct assumption with the problems, was he simply trying to forget? Did he have a much greater problem? He did not know and he really did not want to find out, all he knew now was that he would have to talk with his sister and see what she had to say about his problems. "I am fine Caeserion, you've been staring at the mirror for some time now. I do hope that you come to face me and give me a hug." She tried to laugh, hoping to ease into the conversation and allow some of the tension to remove itself, only that did not happen, nor did it work. Her brother had turned alright but not giving her his usual smile, instead, it was the cold gaze of a boy that had been through so much in his life. He had been hiding so much from her, the moment that she had seen him bleeding, she knew that he was something else, there had to be something else bothering him. "I'm fine, dear sister, though I doubt you will believe me. I find myself in quite the situation, I do not know whether to be angry with you or downright betrayed, you are my sister, my blood, yet you have sent me to the wolves." His gaze had soon turned elsewhere as he turned his attention on other things that he knew concerned him. He did not care for his sister currently as she had done the worst thing possible, he had trusted her with a secret and she had, in turn, told the doctor, people he did not even know, how could he trust her again? "You could choose the other option, the fact that I cared for you and chose to protect you from yourself, you would have hurt yourself! You are my brother, why should I not care for your own safety?" He narrowed his eyes on her and for a single moment he had chuckled, only it was not warm, nor was it friendly. It was cold and it did not sound entirely like her brother, almost like a different person entirely. "Or, he could see you for the pathetic sister you are, or he could kill you for the fact that you betrayed him and his own world! He could be better than you! He would have never betrayed you, he would have protected you. He would have kept you safe!" It was this time that her own eyes narrowed on him as her face had soon gone pale, it had seemed like the blood had ceased to run throughout her body. "Just who are you?" Again it happened, again the laugh that was mocking, cold, and bone-chilling. It was clear that the doctor and her assessment was right, he did have something wrong with him, this was not her brother and she almost wanted to run, screaming for help on the way out, only she stayed and waited for an answer. "We're Caeserion, obviously." |

She froze as she watched her brother, she could see 'them' for all 'they' were and it was something that was spooking her. She never knew that her brother had it this bad, he seemed to look completely fine and it was only the tone of his voice that alerted her to notice her brother looked and seemed fine, yet he was nothing like he was moments before. His eyes had become cold, she knew then that whatever person was speaking through her brother, well, it most definitely was not him. "Just who are you really? You say that you are Caeserion, my brother. Only you do not sound like him, your tone is too soft, your words are too cold, and your eyes, well they are just unloving." It was here that Caeserion shrugged, his eyes seemed to become alight with some kind of happiness as he looked around, marveling at the room for all it was. It was like he had never been outside of his mind, staying in his own world until now, until they were alerted that something was wrong with the boy they grew to care for. He sighed as he turned back to face Valerie, she seemed to care for the boy, something that they all had in common and would hope to use. "For now, I am Caeserion. If he so happens to grant me a name besides Loka, then we shall see." Valerie hummed, remembering the name and it had seemed that her brother had created Loka, stating that he was the brother in this world. She wondered if she had failed as a sister, that she had failed enough for him to become this ill person, had she failed Father? Would he be disappointed for what became of Caeserion? Maybe, there was no way to know now and things were less than stable right now. "Loka, he told me about you. How you're the older brother, he didn't tell me much but when he did, I listened. He is sick, don't you see? He needs help and I want to help him, why don't you?" 'Loka' hummed, his lips spreading in a joyous smile that seemed to be a bit forced if one saw and knew this personality correctly. He stepped forward which made the floorboard creek slightly as he took a look and found himself enthralled by it for a single second. "I do wish to help him, trust me, he created all of us for a purpose. He did not create us to take over or to warp his mind, we're to protect him, give him a family, give him a life, and give him the love he needs." Valerie did not know what to say to that, her brother did not feel loved? He did not feel as if they themselves were enough of a family? Just what was wrong with him? She did not know but the way that this personality before her had started to defend its host was fascinating, she knew this was her brother but just not her 'Caeserion' - she would make sure to fix him before long. "Well, he had me. He had a family, why did he feel the need to bring you all here? Why did he feel the need to create all of you?" 'Loka' hummed and for once, he did not have an answer to that. He had told her why he had created them, only she was right, Caeserion had a family, he had a sister here. Why did he feel the need to create them when he had all that he needed? Loka turned around, no longer facing Valerie as she seemingly had a way of reading his expressions, leading her to ask some difficult questions. "I honestly do not know, you may want me ask him when he gets back, trust me, it would be better that way. Unlike many books, stories, or whatever it is you people read, personalities like us, we don't always know why we are brought to the surface." Valerie stepped forward this time, she had brazenly grasped the arm of Loka, he seemed to flinch at her touch as something flickered in his eyes. A hint of emotion was what Valerie saw for a moment, she wondered why her brother had retreated? Had she scared him off or could he not face her as himself? "So what aspect of his personality are you? You're obviously his older brother in a world he created to get away from all this, just what are you in terms of his system? His personality, I mean." 'Loka' chuckled and for once, it was not cold, nor was it unforgiving. It was warm, caring, and loving, all the aspects of an older sibling. He turned his head for a moment, thinking on how to act on this as he watched the woman who cared for Caeserion pleadingly wait for an answer. "Bravery, I am what he calls upon when he needs some help, he is not the best in this area. He has many others that he calls on for things, your brother, well, he is someone that can't connect well with his emotions. It's like he split each of them off, assigning them to a person in his mind when he needs them, he calls them and they will help him. It's as you said, a system, a good one? No, but for him? Yes." |

"Why? It seems you've known my brother for a while as if he has had these personalities for a long time now, only I've never seen him act different, not like how you are now. What changed him? Why is he like this now? Why is he broken?" Loka walked forward and invaded her personal space, he stood there and watched the emotions play out on her face. She herself had managed it well, she knew what to do with them, while Caeserion did not, he struggled, he listened to the voices of himself in all honesty. He could never handle this pressure of being something that he was not, this was it, he was someone that could not place them in a correct place. He split them apart as if he had cut a slice of cake, he placed them with a different persona he had inside of him. It was his way, the way that worked for him. "Your mother, she's the reason why, I am not angry, nor are any of the others. We are simply here, we are here to help him adjust until he can cope with himself. There is no telling what he can do, he's angry, he's feeling betrayed, and he's closed himself off." Valerie narrowed her eyes, what did her mother have to do with this? While she knew that the two of them did not have the worst relationship, she knew that it was not abusive or something along those lines, it was fine, was it not? She could only hope that her mother did nothing to the boy, he was innocent of the dalliances of their Father. It was how she saw things but for the first time, Valerie questioned, how did her mother see things? Did she see that Caeserion was innocence? "What does my mother have to do with this? I know that she did not like him but she never abused him, did she? He was fine, he was never hurt, was he?" Loka looked at his sister, while he felt no emotion for her, considering that was just not him. He could feel a tug as if he wanted to hug her, he knew that could have but he did not want too and chalked it up to Caeserion. He noticed that Valerie had continued eying, it seemed that all she was doing was asking questions of if Caeserion was fine or the stuff that she had only known up til now. "Verbally and Emotionally, your brother suffered. Why do you think we were made? It was to place his emotions, he already had voices in his head, what more was there to add people? He could not control himself, one minute he wanted to kill your mother, the next he wanted to kneel at her feet and beg for the love that only she could give him! He did not know his mother, your father had barely been around, she was the only figure he had." Valerie felt like she was going to throw up, her mother had emotionally and verbally abused Caeserion? Her brother? He was only a kid, she knew that it was when she had been in Boarding School by then, yet she felt like she should have been there. She should have protected him as best as she could. She stared at Loka who smiled sadly at her, what could she say after that? She did not know what she could do, it seemed as if Caeserion had relied on these 'people' - they were him though, they were just the different parts of him. "You can't think that I will do nothing but stand here and listen, right? I will have to help you, I will drag him to that therapist, one of you, or I don't care, all of you! You will speak with that therapist, and you will get past this brother. You are alone, you've never been alone, you have me now. I am your sister, trust me, I am here for you." Loka looked at her for a single moment, he believed her, he and the rest of them did believe her. Only it would not be that easy, six years of abuse did not disappear, sometimes, it never disappeared. The words, whispers, it all stayed and even he, when he was brought into the mind of his own creator. He heard the words and had to deal with it, he had to deal with it in his own way. "It all depends on which one of us shows up Valerie, there are others that have not shown themselves. I do believe it's time for me to go now, I did enjoy this talk, say Loka says hi to Caeserion, he'll like it..." Loka dropped to the bed as his eyes closed and a trickle of blood came out of his nose, Valerie stared at him for a moment before wiping his nose with a piece of tissue. She would not be leaving his side, this was her brother, no matter what. She would protect him from everything and anything. |

"The secrets we bear, they are often in relation to hiding something that could cast hurt or shame upon you, it could cast betrayal upon you and yours, it could change your very life. Only what if that was not the case, secrets are not to cast hurt upon you but they can cast hurt upon others who hear your tale with open arms and listen with rapt attention." Caeserion woke up shivering, he looked up into the emerald eyes of his sister, while he had inherited his looks from his mother, she had somewhat taken after their father. Often reminding Caeserion of how little the man that he knew as father had cared for him while he was left here with Geraldine, the woman he would come to know as his tormentor and warden. He did not need to go to those thoughts now, he watched as his sister stared at him for a while. She watched him, he could see that she was mostly looking at his eyes, almost trying to see if it was really him. It would mean one thing, she had met him, well, one of him as he had come to call it. He did not know what to say, he simply opted to sit up, he could see that she was a bit worried. She did ease up a bit and he could thank the gods for whoever spoke with her. "Brother, are you okay? You were out for quite the spell." Caeserion was sure that he could hear some odd whispering in his mind, it sounded like hissed chuckling but he could not count on it. He had been hearing a lot of things in the past couple of days, things like this, well it was something that he had gotten used too. Ever since he had lived with Geraldine and her spiteful words of hatred, no matter what he did, no matter what he said, no matter what he tried. He was never good enough, he would never be enough for her. She glared at him like he was nothing but the spawn of Satan himself, maybe he was, maybe he was destined to ruin this family. "Yes Val, I am fine. Thank you for checking up on me while I was sleeping, did something happen? You seem to be sitting quite close for one of our usual conversations." Valerie chuckled, she did realize that it was her first time chuckling in this situation, her brother had a way of being blunt about his personal space. He did not like invading it that much, nor did he like his being invaded that much. She guessed that was one of the opposite things that he shared with his personality known as Loka. "I spoke to someone, well, one of you. His name was Loka, he said hi. He seemed very nice in how he described things with you, he stated some things had happened for a reason that you had this condition for a reason." There it was again, the word 'Condition' - he did not want to be treated as if he was something like a case, a project, he was himself. No matter how many voices whispered in his head, he was fine, why couldn't they see that? They never saw anything from his side, they could never see that he was normal, they could never realize that he was just being how he had to be to survive, they always thought that he was someone that needed to be protected. Was he just helpless? Was he the one that needed saving after all? "Hm, it seems like you had quite the conversation with him, dear sister, I wonder what he told you, I wonder how you spoke with him about my condition. It seems that all you do now is speak to people about me but never to me, is there something that scares you about me? Is there something that sets you off or puts you on edge?" His cold eyes had turned onto her, for the first time, it seemed that he had a control on his emotions. His head did not seem to be aching him but it was quite the odd turn from quiet and peaceful to cold and unforgiving. It would have been a great step, if it had not been overshadowed by the percieved betrayal on the part of his sister. "What you went through, that sets me on edge, you were only a boy, you did not deserve what happened to you brother. You were the product of an affair, that I understand, but you are not too blame. Our father is, he is to blame for this." Caeserion chuckled, it was not warm, nor was it welcoming. It was just filled with no emotional, something that Valerie could notice as her brother's eyes had narrowed on her. "So is my mother then, hm? She seduced a married man, they had an affair and thus, the bastard born of an affair is born. How nice father must have been, he played around a little too much and soon got a nice little present in the form of his shame. Tell me, do you hate my mother sister? Let us be honest, let us share as you have shared my 'condition' - let's all tell our little secrets to the world!" He growled out to his sister, he wanted the truth, she shared his own condition and now it was time to share her condition, one that could possibly rival his, so he thought. He could see the little hatred at the mention of his mother, all she needed to say was the truth. Could she do that? |

"What is wrong with you, brother? Why do you believe that I disliked your mother? I do not, I cannot because I don't even know her, how can that be possible?" Oh the lies that one tells, it's a pretty sight and one that he enjoyed as he could clearly hear the tone in her voice. It may have not been clear but he heard it, he could see how her lips thinned at the thought of his mother. She may not have hated him but it was clear, she had no qualms of placing that anger at his own mother that even he did not know and he could not place his feelings anywhere. "You're lying to me, sister, you may be saying the words that I want to hear and you may feel that way when it comes to my feelings but you are lying to yourself. You've never liked my mother, while your mother hated me, you hated my mother. It's pretty twisted, it is also pretty obsessive and to the point where we've never discussed my mother, correct?" He smirked, standing from the bed and walking to his mirror as he noticed the dried blood that had came from his nose. He picked at it, scratching it as sighed. He would pretend not to notice how his sister had stood behind, almost watching him to the point where she was clearly studying him. "We've never spoken of your mother because we do not know things about her obviously, is that not the true answer here? We have all these things that keep piling up Rion, have you ever truly wondered why? My mother's death did not exactly leave us in a good mood-" Caeserion coughed, clearly forced as a snicker escaped him as he continued to brush himself up. He looked very ragged and tired, he would need to get some things altered, maybe some new clothes. Maybe a haircut as well, he definitely needed it. He couldn't be looking like a street urchin anymore. "Heh, your mother and her dying, it most definitely left me in more than happy spirits. I was, what's the word? Elated. to see that the bitch had a house dropped on her, wait, that's the wrong book, I must read it again sometime." Valerie growled as she stepped in front of her brother, blocking his own viewing of himself, she found that he was becoming arrogant. Almost annoyingly so, he had dropped that little tidbit on her mother and she had nearly lost it. Only then she had figured it out, he was trying to gain the truth from her by making her angry. "Really, brother? You must stoop so low to gain a rise out of me? You really need some work, perhaps get out of your own head for once, stop talking with people that do not exist and find yourself some friends." Tilting his head to the side, he acted as if he did not have a single clue on what she was discussing. It was clear that she had also stooped low in order to gain something out of him, something that he was not going to give so easily as he had already figured out her little game. "Me? You're playing the exact same game, you do know that it would be hard for me to gain friends, you know that it would not be easy to get out of my own head. You are just like me, you may not have the same mind as me but you are like me at the core. You are my sister, after all." Valerie narrowed her eyes on her brother, what was he getting at? How was she just like him? She was nothing like him, she did not have anything wrong with her. Only she still heard the words play in her head, he had stated that she did not have the same mind but at her core, she was most definitely like him. "What do you mean Caeser? Just how am I like you? Just how am I unstable?" Laughter, cold, not unforgiving but simply cold. It was clear that she had touched his funny bone but had also struck a chord within him, he raised his head up to look at her as his eyes had narrowed. He turned around after studying her for a single moment, he did not think on what he said next, people like him, people with this condition as his sister had often referred to him as they did not think. It was something that he was slowly starting to see as well. "You are not unstable, sister, if you had listened, I had stated that many times. Only I am stating that we have both hated one another's mothers. We have both suffered, whether actively or causing an irreparable rift. You can hide it all you want but it makes me feel all warm inside to see that you are partly like me, it makes me feel normal." A knock on the door was heard as Valerie stared at her brother with shock evident on her face, she did not believe that to be true, she had always told herself that she never hated Caeserion but she had never said the same about his mother, the woman that had caused this rift in the first place. "Do get that, dear sister, we never know who or what it might be, if you don't answer it with a smile, of course." |

Valerie opened the door and noticed her boyfriend, Freddie. He had not visited in sometime since the moment had gotten revealed of her brother's condition, it was moment's like these that they would usually enjoy, only with the lingering thought of her brother in her mind, she knew that it would not be possible. He gazed at her for a single moment, he could almost see how she ached to be in an embrace with him. Only that moment was interrupted by the party of Caeserion and his ever-blank face that made Freddie miss the boy who never noticed him before. Oh he could see that he was noticed, he did not like it at all, he wished that he had been a bit more silent in his approach. "My oh my, if it isn't Freddie. Sister, I do hope that you are still flowered and have not let young Freddie here pluck you." Turning her head to glare at her brother with a furious blush she could the odd enjoyment in his eyes, they all understood what he meant by the innuendo and just to be clear with herself, she knew that she and Freddie had not gotten that far. No that was not going to happen anytime soon, he seemed a bit too wise for his age and oddly calm after the conversation they just shared. "No Caeserion-" Raising his hand, Caeserion stopped Freddie from speaking and even though it was a bit rude, it did seem like Caeser held some power with Freddie. Why? He had no idea but he would use it to their advantage. "Please, do not call not me Caeserion, I am not him. I am too old to be him, wise beyond my years even." His tone of voice had then alerted Valerie to realize that this was not her brother, this was another one of his friends or better yet, he seemed like a guide. Someone that wanted to help him, she always wondered who she was speaking too but he was eying her like she was a stranger, completely nothing. "Just who are you then? What do we call you?" It was Freddie who asked, causing the current personality to smile before he turned around and walked into the dining room. He got three glasses, pouring each of them a glass of cranberry, watermelon, and apple juice. He placed some ice cubes in a bowl and place the tray on a table, taking a glass and having a casual sip. "My name is Dasiel, often referred to as 'The Wise' - I'm the one that guides your brother, or us, for better usage of the term. He has been a little different with his personalities, taking a bit of each of us, he voices his opinions and does not care if it hurts someone but knows to hold back in case it is too much and is ready to take a step forward, showing no fear." Valerie leaned forward, taking a glass in her own hand and having a sip, she had to admit, it was quite the good concoction and had no alcohol. It was good, she would ask him or Caeserion to make more if they could. "Tell me Dasiel, I've met Loka, I've not met the others but something is gnawing at the back of my mind that my brother is having trouble and I need to help him. So please, tell me." Dasiel laughed, she never missed a beat this one and he liked that in a or, the better term, his sister, for now. He leaned forward, looking at Freddie as he said this. "He wishes to learn about his birth mother, he wishes to know who she was and what she did for him or if she is even still alive, he does not know her and he deserves to know her, otherwise, I fear that he may be lost to his own delusions further than he already is." Valerie arched one of her perfect eyebrows, her brother was delusions, what kind? She had only known about the split personalities, she knew nothing more about - it was then that it hit her, Loka, that name, the oaths, the dreams. Was that what Dasiel meant by delusions? Was he having dreams of that world again? "It seems you already know, we need to have a talk now. I suggest you get Benny Markinton here, he'll need to be here, he'll need to answer some questions." Freddie nodded, heading off to get to the phone on the wall as Valerie continued staring down at her hands. She looked broken, almost like she failed someone or something, in fact, she did not. She had saved someone, Dasiel would make sure that she saw it within herself. She was a protector, just like Serena... |

"Dasiel, why do we need Benny Markinton? I know he worked with our father but they're dangerous men, how would they know Caeser's birth mother?" The wise personality simply smiled at the young woman, while the person who created him in his head had always stated that this was 'our' sister. He had never seen it that way and always looked at her like she was a complete stranger like she was no one to him, perhaps she was. He chuckled, knowing that was his own mind making a joke having to deal with the other voices that wanted to have a nice little play around with Valerie. "Young Valerie, the men that your father associated with, well, they are men of honor. You never knew this but while you were at boarding school, your father had hosted various meetings with these men, Caeserion had watched them speak, he was in awe. They were respectful, even your mother had bowed and waved them away with smiles. They were like gods to him, they made the bad things stop." Dasiel smiled at her, thinly. He could see that she was still getting used to this all, her brother being verbally and emotionally abused was not something you heard every day. Bowing his head to drink more of the concoction that he had made moments before, he did not think often as that would leave his time with Valerie shorter than it needed to be. "So you, I mean, he grew up idolizing them? They were monsters, they were men with human skin yet they have the thirst for blood as if they were animals, wolves possessed How are they good role models for my brother? For you!?" Dasiel nodded and hummed as he stroked his chin, he knew that this could be seen as a bit of a bad play on words. The Honored Society or Onorata Societa as they were called in Sicily had changed compared to their American-Italian Mafia. The business had been improved by many men, some people had founded commissions and others, well, they had tried to strike out in many ways, often dying but taking a few with them. "Peace Valerie, listen, closely. I mean no offense but it is the truth what I am saying, Caeserion admired them, he looked up to them. He does not remember that though, a few of us do, a few of us choose not too. Caeserion has forgotten, he does not remember but what remains is that he is connected with the life of Societa Onorata." Valerie's eyes had widened as she had caught onto what Dasiel was saying, Caeserion's mother was apart of that society, she was somehow related to the Life and somehow was connected with another family that would leave her brother quite important in their society. She stared at Dasiel for a while before narrowing her eyes, she wondered if this personality was going to try something underhanded, possibly force her brother into the Life. "No, I can see your thinking already and if I did that, then we would all be in danger, not just me. I am called the Wise One for a reason Valerie, do not dismiss my title for a simple teenage boy with grand delusions of his own mind, he is actually quite smart and fair." Blushing under his stern gaze that was coming from her younger brother's personality of all things made her realize just how patient he was, soon enough though, her lover, Freddie had entered back into the dining hall and mentioning that Benny would be here soon. "When are you going to tell him by the way? The Apartment and your own...condition?" Valerie tilted her head, she could see the smirk that had suddenly stretched his lips looking like a cheshire cat. Her eyes had widened as she shared look with Freddie who had understood, they did not wish to tell her younger brother yet. They did not know how he would react, she was not that far along though, she knew that most things considered, she was healthy. "It was not the correct, I hoped for him to get better and from there, we could inform him, now, it seems that you know, which I am wondering how my brother doesn't. It doesn't really make sense." Dasiel chuckled before standing, finishing off the rest of his drink and throwing it away in the sink. He turned back to the young couple with his smirk still in place, like he was not missing a single beat right now, in truth, he most likely was not and had planned for such a question. "You must understand, Caeserion does not remember things that he himsel does not see. It's like a dream to him, things that happen here, often reflect his dreams trying to understand what has happened out here. It's why he has Loka, myself, Gerion, and many others. He has created us to sustain himself from true madness, he is surviving, you know this. Him having a nephew or niece, it may just help him on the right track to recovery." Both Valerie and Freddie were staring at him in shock for a moment before silence reigned and the door was soon knocked upon by what the inhabitants of the dining room could only assume to be Benny, smiling like he won the prized book of Joseph Peterson, Dasiel waved Freddie off to answer the door and meet the man that was going to help his dearest host. |

"You called me here for what? A Kid? The Montague kid? You gotta be kidding me right? It's been a while since we heard from him, then again, he did give off a rather different impression." Benny was a bit miffed at the fact he was called all the way out here to the bloody slums of South Philly, the place wasn't that bad but it was worse off than the neighborhoods that had been influenced by the Mob and had gained some kind of prestige, plus income from it as well. This place was just not influenced, some people did not see the benefit of working out of such territory. "Calm down Benny, geez, you're acting like you don't collect from fucking Emilio, Jesus Christ mate. Just take it easy, we have a bit of a situation and we need your help. We need to find out who is the kid's birth mother, can you help?" If it was possible Benny had gone paler than his checkered suit as he eyed Freddie like he was the fucking devil come again, he was wary and greatly so. How did he know about her? She was supposed to be unknown, yet if someone had known of her origins and just what family she had come from, it would not be the best for the Mob of South Philly, the gangs that is. The bigger families, the ones that really collected the income, well it would barely bother them. "How the fuck do you know about her!? Hm!? Just how the fuck do you-" Benny in the rant had pulled out his pistol, not taking any chances as he aimed his gun right between the eyes of Freddie who had surely shat himself, only he seemed to expect this and had tried to calm him down, only for an interrupting cough to disturb them both as they turned to 'Caeserion' standing there with a comely smile. "Mr. Markinton, peace, please. You are going to be shooting a most loyal associate of the Gerald Di Statine Gang, I am sure that old Gerry would not like that. He would even be a little bit pissed with you for taking down a rather great earner for your startup crew, so please put the gun down and hear us out." Everyone had gone silent at the sheer guts of Caeserion who had continued to stare at Benny with a soft gaze, almost like a therapist sort of. It was going well until Benny laughed, seemingly losing the plot of this whole situation. He sighed as he finished laughing but noticed their serious looks, he swallowed thickly and watched all three of them like they were crazy. "You want me to hear you out on what!? Plus you're a fucking kid, how would you know all this shit? Just who the fuck do you think you are to know my business?" Dasiel smiled before stepping forward, while he, the personality knew that he had gained some of the favored traits of his many other fellow personalities, there were never times that he had actually used them to his advantage and he had now. It was good a time as any, where else would he use such a trait? "I know it because once upon a time you sat with your Boss at the time, Andrade Montague, who is 'our' Father, correct? Don't answer, I know it's true, I've found many things and remember things that would prove to be that it is true. You were a mere Soldier for the Gang then, which was named The Montague Clan." Benny stopped, looking at Valerie and Freddie who were both looking at the boy in shock, just how much did he know? He had been to be very young and have some form or heck, even have an Eidetic memory to recall such detail. They did not know what to say, all they could do was watch him before he laughed pretty easily and seemingly enjoyed the shocked looks on their faces. "So, will you hear me out, sit down? Enjoy a drink perhaps? This is something that concerns you, as well it does us." Benny shared a look between Valerie and Freddie before nodding his head, accepting the offer of a drink and a little chat, he knew this was defintely going to be something that he wanted to hear out but he did ponder, just how did it benefit him? |

Benny looked at all three of the people that had called him here and only two of them looked confused while the youngest of them all, well he was clearly in his element, he thrived in this style of business, whatever it was. Benny did not like the look that this kid wore, it was too mature and pretty much reminded him of the old boss that he worked for, Andrade, a man to be respected and feared in this business. It looked like his son had picked up some of those habits, it looked like he had become a prodigy due to whatever he was going through. He could see the warring eyes of his - it was not peaceful in his own mind, it looked like something or someone was trying to fight him currently as he narrowed his eyes and not on him but due to the clear pain that he was going through, he did good enough to hide it from his sister and Benny wondered if he should say something, this kid was a Legacy, he was someone that fought his whole life not knowing the love of a Father or Mother, maybe he could offer him something. He sighed and removed himself from the wall that he had been leaning against like some young punk, he was a Made Guy and would not be looking like he had just roughed up a couple of people. If this was anyone else, he would have been the same, they had an image to maintain, they were professional, the days of minor gangs and getting killed for a simple piece of territory was over. No longer were they petty Mob Bosses, they each held something in this business and they did not forget that. He did notice the odd looks that passed between Freddie and Valerie, they seemed to be weighing something between themselves, almost like it was killing them. He shrugged knowing that if they had a problem they would not bother in hiding it and would state it clear to the world, they were like that a lot, they were both strong-willed and they knew when to rein it in but if their families were threatened, they were the worst bunch of people. "Mr. Markinton, if you're done watching and observing us, we would like to get to the point of this meeting if you will, hm?" Benny motioned for the kid to go ahead, he knew that he had tried to scold or embarrass him in some fashion, only it did not work and Benny raised an eyebrow at the kid who simply stared back, seemingly challenging him as he craved for the fight. "We called you here, for one thing, we want to find our mother, we need to know if she is alive and how she is doing if she knows about me or something else. We just need to know." Benny stared at the kid for a moment, as far as he was concerned, he knew that Geraldine was not Caeserion's mother and just why was he mentioning it like his mother was Valerie's mother? He turned his head to get an answer but it all came in the form of the young lad in a matter of minutes as he continued as if he hadn't just stopped to take a breather. "By our mother, I mean the people that I share my mind with, you are talking with one currently Mr. Markinton, it's nice to meet you. My name is Dasiel, I am often refered to as Wise by Caeserion." Benny looked at Dasiel, he did not want to it, he knew that this was something incredibly out of the world but he had heard of it before. People had called it Schizophrenia, his old man had it and he had taken care of him for a while before he passed away, now Andrade's kid had it? He never knew that a kid so young would get this and it was almost heartbreaking but this kid before, he could see that he was special and that he had much more than Schziophrenia. "You want me to help you find his mother, hm? Why? Just what do you gain from this, Dasiel?" He had gone with the flow and it had surprised Valerie, along with Freddie that he was going along with this so easily. If Dasiel was surprised then he had not shown it and continued. "It gives us peace of mind, it brings us one step closer to curing him, what say you Mr. Markinton, will you help us? All of us, in uniting a boy with his mother?" |

"If your mother wishes to not be found, then trust me, she is not going to be found, she is someone special and I can't find her like this. She is someone that has her own network of people and I doubt that a seventeen-year-old boy, whether he has these personalities helping him can find her." Dasiel smiled, he could see the wheels turning in Benny's head, he did not wish to believe this and it was clear that he was slowly coming around to the idea that he wanted to meet his mother but for some reason, Benny did not want them, he did not want Caeserion to meet his mother. It was a thought that had them all wondering what Benny was keeping secret for himself, just what did he have to hide from them? Leaning forward in his seat, his eyes closing for a simple brief second as a sigh escaped him. Dasiel could see the slightest flinch in Benny, almost like he wished to be anywhere else but here, but what could they, a seventeen-year-old boy do to a man like him who was armed and dangerous? It was almost like he had forgotten that he was carrying a weapon that could end them with ease. "Mr. Markinton, just why don't you want us to our mother? Or is it something that someone told you to stop from happening? You seemed open to the idea, you seemed welcoming, you seemed like you were ready to see a whole new era before your very eyes." Valerie had continued to watch from the sidelines as she held tightly onto the hand of her lover, Freddie, who sat with her and watched the back and forth with intrigue. This was a little bit different from what they were used to, her brother had never been this forward or even brave to stand up to such a man, only this was not her brother, this one was Dasiel, Wise and Defiant, it was clear that there was a conflict of personalities. "It's not that, it's the fact that you might not be emotionally ready to meet a woman who abandoned you for a long time, who left you to fend for yourself while your sister had to care for you. Given your condition, is it truly wise to meet this woman? Cause I don't think it is and I've learned to trust my gut, along with my mind." Dasiel stood from the seat that he had planted himself in for that moment, he was becoming irritated and the more he did, the more Gerion was whispering in his mind for him to go along and just do what he wanted, they could find their mother without the help of the mob. Only Dasiel won out as he knew that Benny had an oath, the blood of my blood, a family united. "The Montague's created the Crew your in, my father rose up, did he not? He chose a handful of people to protect the family, to protect his blood and his business, we are the blood of Montague, that oath, that bond, that vow, applies to us. You've upheld, yes, but I want your support in finding our mother, what is so wrong with this idea? What is so wrong with wanting to get a mother's love?" Benny looked into the orbs of Dasiel Montague, or whatever his name was, he could see Andrade for a single moment, the defiance, patience, and bravery. He was not Andrade though, this boy was not his friend and boss re-born, he was simply his son, his youngest son of an affair at that. "Nothing is wrong with that but it's who she is and who will be asking questions once the business is all set and done, people seeing the mistress of Andrade Montague walking around, they are not going to take that lightly. Women in this life, some say they have a role in the kitchen, others say they can become Bosses, Godfathers, and even a Capo Di Tutti Capi." Dasiel smirked, it was fear, Benny was fearful of what? He was simply going to be instrumental in helping him meet his mother, or was he going to be apart of a coup to bring back the Montague Name? Is that why Freddie had never asked Valerie to join him on jobs? Did she have the chance to become a boss? Maybe a Godfather? "You're scared, you're scared that you might catch attention that you want to bring back the old ways, the Montague Family with you at a powerful position, that is worrisome. Is that what you believe? I want to take the seat from Gerry-Whatever the heck his last name is..." Benny snorted before he looked at Freddie, he could see the boy was loyal to these people and was ready for whatever. He was loyal to him as well, he could see that but still, it was becoming faint. He stared at the boy for a single moment, he did not know, he could see this personality and how his mind had turned like a steering wheel. "If I bring your mother to meet you, it means that you have to face a woman who does not know you, are you up for that? Hmm? Are you up to meet the woman who carried you for a long time?" Dasiel nodded, looking to the only family that he had in this room, his sister. "Yes, I am ready, who's up for a family reunion?" |
