The Chicago Beatdown: Round 3 (The Semi-Final)

The stands begin filling up, as everyone begins to notice that the four fighters are all within the ring already. There isn't a soul who is being disrespectful or negative towards another fighter. The four remaining fighters seem to have really grown into themselves and are just in their own little world training and warming up for the fights ahead, the four fighters in the ring are Phillip Ligambi, Diraci Brecit, Video and Heston. Only 1 Chicago fighters left, 1 New Yorker, the infamous Detroit fighter and 1 Sin city fighter. Once the arena has filled everyone takes their seat, the fighters exit the ring to begin getting ready for their fighters and the host of the tournament comes into the ring to begin the event.

"What a time we have had out here, we've seen a ton of knockouts here. I honestly couldn't be happier with how the event has gone. This has been a truly special tournament that is nearing it's end. After tonight we will have the stage set for the Champion to be crowned. Well if we're all ready let's get our fighters out here and get this event kicked off."

As Vincent leaves the ring we see Video and Phillip Ligambi come out from the locker room and the two men look determined, like nothing could stand between the and winning.. well besides one another.

Phillip Ligambi V.S. Video

Both fighters are in their corners and Video is loosening up looks like he is trying to avoid pulling anything, Phillip on the other hand is just standing still and looks to almost be praying for the win tonight.

"In the Red Corner we have one special man, someone who has had to fight his way into the tournament and has not slowed down. He has won all his fights by an impressive manner, he is the Right Hand Man of The Ligambi Crime Family.. none other than Phillip Ligambi!"

The crowd erupts when his name is said, not only has he won over everyone in Detroit but he has also won over this Chicago crowd with the way he has fought the entire tournament!

"In the Blue Corner we have the Leader of the Regime, won of the happiest faces in the sinful city of Las Vegas, Video."

The crowd hoots and hollars for Video you can tell they are ready for these men to go at it once and for all.

Round 1: *Ding*

Video moves out of his corner very slowly not sure if he was intimidated or if he was calculated, Phillip on the other hand moved with a special swagger he had made this ring his home since the tournament had started. He starts with a hook and a jab both of with connected in a wonderful fashion. Video looked glassy eyed already, he tried to move back just as he did SUPERMAN PUNCH from Phillip wow what a wonderful move. Video quickly found himself on the ground, he did not seem ready for the level of competition. He is slow to stand to his feet, but quickly covers himself. Phillip lands a couple more body shots to try and score points, ding. The round ends with a clear winner being Phillip, but Video had survived to fight another round.

Round 2:*Ding*

Both fighters look purely exhausted after the round. They slowly move into one another Video throws a weak jab which Phillip shrugs off, he throws one of his own and misses. The fighters begin the dance around one another to waste time. Video then attempts an uppercut that misses and get caught with a weak right hook. The fighters just look defeated and unmotivated, they stand there with their guards up until the end of the round. Ding, Phillip Ligambi wins this round as well.. the only hope Video has is to get a knockout in the third and final round.

Round 3:*Ding*

Video slowly walks out of his corner, he looks to have a little more energy this round Phillip on the other hand comes out with a pep in his step and looks ready to go to war knowing all he has to do is not get knocked out and he moves onto the final. He opens with two jabs that both connect with Video, Video stumbles back then lunges for Phillip and misses. Phillip catches him with a haymaker sending him into the ground, Phillip throws his hands into the air and dances around. Video is slow to get up but the man doesn't have an ounce of quit in him. He gets back to his feet and throws a wild punch, Phillip dodges and connects with one of his own that sends Video spinning and back into the ground. Video lays there for a second then picks himself off the ground, he puts his guard up then bam he get hit with a dangerous haymaker from Phillip and stumbles into the ropes.. ding. The round has ended Video has survived, Phillip throws his hands into the air knowing he has won the match!

"What heart from the young man Video! I cannot believe he stayed up the entire fight wow, well congratulations to Phillip Ligambi who will move onto the championship. Video we will see you again in the fight for third place and one million dollars!"
Winner: Phillip Ligambi

Diraci Brecit V.S. Heston

As both fighters enter the ring the atmosphere has completely changed now that Chicago has one final fighter to back they are fully behind him, as soon as Diraci enters the ring all you can hear is "DIRACI, DIRACI" the home crowd is in full force here.

"In the Red Corner we have the Godfather of Manhattan New York and a brute who has dominated to this point of the tournament, none other than the hammer himself.. Heston!"

You can tell even though he's going up against a hometown fighter the crowd still loves him for his incredibly entertaining fights he has been a part of!

"In the Blue Corner we have the first round knockout machine and Chicagos last hope for the championship my Right Hand Man.. Diraci Brecit!"

The crowd once again looses their minds you can tell they are much more invested in this fight and cannot wait to see it.

Round 1: *Ding*

Heston is slow and reserved when coming out of his corner, Diraci is obviously looking for his third first round knockout. Diraci opens up with a beautiful haymaker that connects with Hestons chin and sends him straight to the ground! The crowd erupts, but Heston gets up as Diraci he turned around, as soon as he turns back around Heston swings a wild punch hoping to turn the lights out, but Diraci leans back and it misses. He then connects with a jab then a hook. Heston doesn't know how to react he had yet to be on the back end of a fight. He defends himself as he collects his thoughts. Ding, the round has ended with the winner being Diraci. Just two more rounds until we find out who will be in the finals of the tournament.

Round 2:*Ding*

Heston moves much quicker out of the gate this time and opens with a huge haymaker, he misses Diraci catches him with one of his own and Heston falls. Again Heston is picking himself up off the ground, Diraci readies himself and soon as Heston stands he swings again. Heston doges it then uppercuts Diraci, sending him stumbling back. Diraci recovers then resets. As soon as he is with range again he attacks Heston, who can hardly defend himself. For the first time this tournament these two men are outside their comfort zones. Diraci is fighting longer than one round, and Heston is on the loosing end of a barrages of punches he can't defend himself from. Just as it looks like Heston can't take it anymore ding, the round is over. Both men are absolutely drained and neither looks as though they have much gas for the third round. Diraci has clearly won this round, and Hestons only hope is to knock him out. Crazy both semi final matches come down to this exact scenario.

Round 3:*Ding*

Diraci moves out of his corner very slowly and cautious knowing he has the fight in hand, Heston on the other hand moves with a sense of purpose he only has one minute to knock another man out to move onto the finals. Heston moves in quickly and furiously, he opens up the flood gates on Diraci throwing right after left attacking him non stop. Diraci eats quite a few punches and can barely stand on his own two feet, Heston is running out of steam.. Diracis legs are shaking he's wobblily and may go down. Heston is tired his hits, are landing and just falling off he doesn't have the power in his arms to be effective anymore. Diraci is just standing in place doing everything he can to not fall over, he can't even return hits anymore. Ding, the round is over Heston wins the round but both men are just done as the bell rings the both collapse. Diraci has done it, he's won and will be moving onto the next round but we will see if he still has enough steam to win the finals.

"What a show of just heart and class from both men, let's give it up for them they really put on a show here!"

The crowd gives a heart felt clap and cheer as then men stand and hug.

Video staggers out of the ring. One eye closed shut and the other one cut open. He smiles and looks at the announcers.

I dont throw weak jabs. 

He congratulates Phillip Ligambi and heads to the locker room to rest up before round 4.
