Last words of a dead man walking Started by: KennyRusso on Apr 21, '19 18:02

Kenny slowly opens the door to his office, tired and heart-broken, he places his gun on his desk and grabs a bottle of whiskey. He walks towards his chair and takes a seat, opening the bottle up. He leans on his chair and takes a huge sip out of the bottle, almost finishing it. He places the thing on the table then reaches for a cigarette, he lights it and places it on his lips. Shaking, he opens his drawer grabs a piece of paper and a pen.

Apr 21 - 17:30

I'm writing this letter for anyone that finds it. I'm not good with words, never was. But since I'm going to be dead in a couple of minutes, I'll try and do my best.

We had no intentions on doing something wrong. Uncle Joe was satisfied with Detroit and I was more than happy to be in South Side. I worked hard in Detroit. I did my best and the day finally came: Kenny Russo was going to create The Russo Crime Family. I was overjoyed. I had many plans for the future, get my hands Vincent-Valentine and Rain to start a crew of their own, give a chance to my friend ERIC_DRAVEN to be my right hand and Aleks to be my left. It was all going well, I was about to achieve my goal; get the Godfather rank. Unfortunately it was cut short by the people I once called allies and friends. I will mention some of them here in a few and the people I managed to put down, first I want to address to my family, Detroit and South Side.

Joe Ligambi - a father figure. I couldn't ask for a better boss. You helped me built a name for myself, gave me a chance to lead my own district, I'll always be grateful for everything. I came out of nowhere and had nothing but the word of my brother Anthony Russo. You trusted me, built me and helped me through difficult times. You're a good man with a good heart.

KTI- What can I say about you, man? I'll always remember that day when the man named Obsidian started killing people. You were the first to give me directions and tell me what to do. I've been admiring you since that day, the way you handle things, the way you write and the loyalty you had.

Rain and Vincent, you guys were the best. I have no regrets on allowing you guys to run your own operation. I'm sorry I failed you both.

ERIC_DRAVEN - you're the best, man. I thank you for everything, for your advises, for your organized crimes invites and also thank you for always getting my ass outta jail! Damned coppers always getting us.

Philip Ligambi - It was a nice haul, my brother. Fought very well for an old man. It was a honor to fight alongside you.

Stefano Lucchese - Seeing you die pained me. A lot.. Absolutely gutted to see a good and wise man be put down like that. Thanks for everything, the things you said helped me out more than you could imagine.

Diva_ - You got into this family and quickly won my heart with your sweet and lovely way. Thanks for the massive help you gave me.

Jukera_Dale and Gaetano Russo - I hate you both. Jukera you look awful with those glasses and you can't dance for shit and Gaetano is horrible at dice.

Vice and AleksTomson - You guys are the best. There is an old saying: "May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead." Not sure if there is a heaven but when I end up there, I'll meet you guys at the bar.

I wish I could write more but I'm on borrowed time. I love you all and I'd write a fucking bible if I could about everyone, but sadly I'll need to go in a few minutes.

Kenny takes a drag out of his cigarette and a swig from the bottle. He grabs another piece of paper and starts writing.

Second letter; my friends who turned out to be enemies and forced my hand. Some people say I have a kind heart and I believe I do. I admired most of you and like a child, I believed in your lies.

BobRoss - I want to be wrong man. I want to believe that you are my friend. You're a fucking awesome dude and to believe that this was all a lie pains me a lot. I'm stupid and innocent, I know that. Live and learn, right? Well.. Wish I had learned earlier.

Transistor - Same fucking thing as Bob. People approached me and told me that you died trying to get protected but no. It was me who killed you. I want you to know that.

I think it is just the two of you. I understand. We are in the mafia. Back stabbing happens all the time but it doesn't get any easier with time. Is always the same fucking feeling. I don't hold a grudge against neither of you. I still kind of admire the way you guys handle business. I just wish our friendship was true.

About the people I killed; it wasn't much, I know. I could've done a lot more damage if I was more experienced, but I'm not. It wasn't personal. Just business.

Transistor - my first kill. I already told what I think of you. You were a good guy and a good talk while we were not enemies.

Aurelio - Didn't knew you. Never talked with you. Just wrong place and wrong time. Sorry about how I acted on your funeral. I wasn't thinking clearly. You deserved respect.

Reverse_Flash - Don't know who you are so I don't have nothing to say about you.

My next shot will be the last. I wish I had more time but all my friends are dead and I don't have anyone to help me. Feels horrible to be alone but I'll joining them pretty soon.

Kenny stashes both letters in his pockets, take one last swig out of his bottle of whiskey and lights another cigarette, he walks toward the nightstand near the door, places the cigarette on his lips, grabs his revolver and opens the door, knowing that soon he'll be dead.

I enter the room to read the letter left by  Don Russo.  It is true, you were almost there.  No one deserved it more.  As one of our famous Godfathers once said.

I want no acts of vengeance. No inquires made.  It's time for this war to end.

My father taught me this as well.  Rest in peace Detroit and Chicago families.

I reach for a cigar from my inside pocket, snip the end off and dip it in my cognac and commence to lighting it.  With a long pull  I let the smoke out slowly taking in its aroma and reminisce.

My father Vice spoke so highly of KennyRusso, He was a great man he showed up alot to the house when I was a kid and showed me how to respect and appreciate people. He was a powerful man with a army of friends that would stand in front of a bullet for him. Not out of fear or even respect they would do it out of gratitude for everything KennyRusso had done for them.

My father was a wild man willing to take any opportunity to prove himself and he i believe he did by the RussoFamily. He would always come home and tell me about his days even when he was down at the russo bar. I visited this place a lot as a kid to meet my dad Vice on they way home from school, Kenny would always be there with open arms and hand me a Orange juice and even sneak me a chocolate when my dad would see.

Kenny was a legend in my eyes and seeing the letters he left gives me nothing but happiness knowing my father done right by him and I will always grow to be like both of them.

Rest easy Kenny and Papa Vice I will make you proud and continue to run the family in my heart.

Shy-Ronnie drops the letter next to KennyRusso's and Vices coffin with a bottle of whiskey and tub of Icecream. He  wipes a falling tear away from his face before he walks into Rhianna's arms. (this was prior to the bank robbery where Shy-Ronnie popped a boner).

Truly good words from a great CL indeed. Shit happens in this gane for sure now and then and this was another shitness that accured and just made many people mad as I hard, sadly so much money spent on so many chars in 2 cities, what a waste if looking to it this way.

But after rain there always comes a rainbow, everyone continue their kourneys no matter what happens in here, its just a game but the bad part many losses their skills each time and wont play for full in long time, and thats a shame.
