Many people wondered how the son of a powerful Chicago mobster, on of Kenny Russo's own captains, because a Ligambi and not a Valentine. Many though that he would be a jr, and take his fathers name to carry it on within this thing of ours. It all starts back when Vincent Valentine first joined Kenny Russo when he still worked in Downtown which is now Bricktown Detroit. While he was there he was hanging around with a local girl he met named Emily Elizabeth. They became very close and eventually she got pregnant having 3 children, obviously I'm one of which. I have two sisters who never knew of my fathers dealings, and still to this day do not. Well long story short Emily was actually related to the Ligambis', my father had no idea. So when him and my ma split when he left for Chicago, we took our mothers last name she didn't want us knowing who our father was. Even though I'm named after him. I grew up working in the manufacturing plants around Detroit, working an honest life for most of my days until a well dressed older man who told me he was my uncle, Uncle Joe he called himself. We became very close he introduced me to many of the guys and gals he works with, I did many jobs for him. Started out small, breaking and entering, snatching purses, car jackings. After I proved to him I could be good at this, he let me get into stealing war bonds, robbed a couple casinos in our day. Even let me kill one of the local dealers who would stop selling to a distant relative, couldn't have that bad stain on our family name. Now days I do whatever uncle joe and the Morningwood Elite ask of me. I am Vincent Ligambi. |

Remembering back to the day you walked into the social club. One look it took and I knew you was my nephew. That grin you had on your face that Ligambi grin couldn't be erased from your face that day as Joe took you around introducing you to the family. I'm sure your arm was tired after all the hand shakes and hugs you recieved.
Watching you grow into a fine young man who had already achieved such respect within the family it was truly a blessing to know you would carry the Ligambi name proudly with ease.
Hell I still Remember bailing you out when you got caught for the first time attempting to steal that old shit box model t ford. But you didnt rat didnt say a word. When I got a call from one of the officers on our payroll and he said you didnt say a word I was so proud.
Vincent Ligambi you will become what your work and character reflects in this life and I see great things for the younger generation that choose this life if your apart of it. |
