Amaryllis furrowed her eyebrows a bit as she took the man's arm, thinking on what it was he had said. "Why would you be here until morning? Surely it gets too cold at night for one to stay out too late. You're likely to catch a cold..." her voice was soft as she grew quiet and thought on the words that had been said. While he seemed to think about her other question, she took her own time, trying to think of what questions she should ask. "Whatever you wish to talk about. You seemed to care for her... I'm not sure what happened but talking could help?" She honestly had no idea what she was talking about. She'd never comforted someone before. Though she wasn't keen on seeing people hurting by something, she felt awkward now trying to simply chat.

"Actually... forget that... I'm sorry, it's none of my business..." Her voice was soft as she walked arm in arm with the man named Alucard. Hearing his own question to her, she thought for a moment before speaking. "I'm only in Philadelphia because I couldn't find you or Billy were supposed to be dead in Detroit... and in the note, my father mentioned he knew this family out here in Philly. So here I am..."

He gave a half-hearted chuckle.  "Don't worry about me.  If it gets too cold, I'll just head into my office. I'll be fine."

"It's not something you want to hear kid.  You know the ending, the story isn't a happy one.  If we run into each other again, and perhaps if I'm drunk enough... I'll tell you that tragic love story."

Alucard gave a soft tug pulling Amaryllis a bit closer.  "There's no reason to be sorry for asking."

He noticed had been walking in strides that the young woman at his side struggled to keep up with, and he slowed his pace down quite a bit.  As he was walking he realized he had no idea where exactly he was walking to, "So where are we going?  I'm really just walking straight until you tell me to turn somewhere."

He gave her a half-hearted laugh.

"By the way, what family did Jason send you to?  You don't need to tell me, I get that you don't know me and you'll want your safety and stuff, I'm simply curious."

Amaryllis frowned when the man told her to not worry about him, shaking her head at the thought that he would actually stay outside all night and not going home to a bed. She heard what he had said about how the story of what happened was not something she wanted to hear, but how it might be something he might talk about if he was drunk enough if they ever ran each other again. It really set the tone for how hard of a topic it probably was for this man to even say such things.

She was surprised when he gave a soft tug and pulled her a bit closer, her face heating up a bit as she glanced around, not having expected this man to pull her close like that. It honestly distracter her a bit that when he asked where they were going, she almost paused as she glanced around, frowning slightly as she realized that she didn't really recognize these streets. Had she been so distracted by being close to this man that she'd forgotten to pay attention. "Uhh... I don't....know..."

She sighed as she tried to think on what street she needed to get too, simply settling down for just the motel name, hopefully, this man would know what street it was off of. "I've been staying at the Northern Spiral Motel... I can't remember what street it's on though... dammit... Maple... Magothy? It starts with an 'M'... I know that much." She sighed heavily again, running a hand through her hair.

When he asked what family her father had sent her too, she had remembered that. "A family by the name of Byrne... I'm not really sure why he gave me some names to go too, but that I guess I can figure out along the way." She honestly wasn't worried about telling this man. If this was the Alucard her father had spoken of, well it wouldn't hurt anything to tell him... Hell her father had just about sent her to this man alone for whatever reason.
