Such things are a way of life to us mobsters for we don’t, and sometimes can’t afford, to have everything out in the open as other law abiding citizens do. We are based on power and influence after all and the dingy dark sometimes suits such things.

Now as for the events of the early morning, I can only say I feel regret. Regret for those lost to mismanagement of the city. Regret for the friends that are no longer friends and the ill will that is now felt of me. Such things happen in our world and I will not let it sway me. It is a price of leadership.

As for the city itself, now that the troubles regarding it’s administration are over I can work towards rebuilding Organized Crime’s presence. A long road is ahead for both me and my associates but I have both the passion and capability to see it done. I can certainly answer any questions some may have regarding the City itself. I will be returning after a brief hiatus to answer any questions asked.

Speaking as a man from a bloodline which has fallen in recent "genocides," (Gaylord's family in LV, and Sly in Philly) all I can say to you is simply this:  business is business, and it's nothing personal.  If the surviving have blood on their hands, hey, who doesn't?  It comes with the territory.  We all know the risks when we step into this business.

 It's no secret that he who wins the war writes the history books.  If what YOU say is true, it's all the more impressive that those involved were able to pull it off.  It's not as if this is the first time something like that has (allegedly) happened.  I can think of a leader who has risen to the top using this very same tactic.  You speak of greed as if the quest for power isn't a quality that we all share.

A leaders life is based on the decision he makes for his family. You sir made a decision that would ensure your families survival. There are those who will disagree with that, you will find that they are those who have lost parents during the takedown in New Orleans.

I for one commend you, you did what you needed to do to secure the lives in your family and no family member can ask for more from their leader.
