So does the Father, So shall the Son Started by: Mael on May 04, '19 21:35

"You want me to what, buy out a piece of land and build a Casino, are you stupid?

Michael 'Mael' Pavanno was many things, a businessman, a son, and owner of The Tops and Ultra-Luxe Casinos, even though the actual revenue or anything else came to him, his name was recognized with the brand and thus he became one of the people to watch during his return from wherever the heck he was.

"We want you to open up a new casino right here in Philly, you'll have the support of the entire commission, heck even The Omertas are willing to loan you the startup cash, we know that we will see a return on the money sometime, right Michael?"

Mael arched an eyebrow, his father had never liked Big Sal or Nicky Torini of The Omertas, they were a shifty pack of rats that were always looking to extort the next fucker that worked under them. They were known to use their drugged up hookers for information, something that he wished to not associate with.

"Don Vincenzo, we both know that The Omertas are not to be trusted. Big Sal is a bruiser but wants Nicky's spot, Nicky has the ear of Frank Balek, while Big Sal has your ear. We both know that you wish the other in control, using me as a proxy to wage a war of shares."

Vincenzo had to give the guy his due, he knew his worth and right now, he was showing it, this was something that his Father had only learned later on in life and this life had a way of making you grow up faster than necessary.

"Look at you, Charlie Junior, looking like a spitting image, only with the stormy green eyes, looking like some mythical wildfire. You're right kid, we want you to be a proxy. You don't have enough power on your own, nor do you wield enough to whisper into your Godmother's ear."

Mael knew he was in a tough spot, this could make or break him, he could gain some much-needed support with the Outside famillies, maybe even see what is truly happening behind the scenes.

"So, Big Sal and Nicky or You and Don Balek?"

Mael leaned forward, pouring himself a glass of Mango-Apple Juice concoction, he never knew what it was but he could still never get enough of it, since the days of his time in the Black Rose Syndicate of LA.

"Myself and Don Balek, are you open to this? Playing a proxy?"

Mael thought over the losses and benefits, truly nothing would affect him, he could possibly hire his own crew in the meantime as well, business would and could be sorted over time, this would be different, he knew that it was just beginning, he wondered how long he would be under the thumb of the Upstate Commission though.

"When do I start Don Vincenzo?"

That was it, this was it, the moment that sealed his moment in the Upstate Commission forever, he was now a Proxy for Don Vincenzo in the Casino that had yet to be built but he wondered who would be playing the other proxy and who he would be going against.

"You start whenever we wish for you to start, currently, The Omertas are going through a tough period, with the recent removal of Jared, things are taking a turn and Big Sal wants to make a move on the Vilroy Family, Nicky wants to have his own business and make sure to keep clear of it. Now for once, myself and Don Balek know that going to war with the Vilroy's is not the answer, they have Private Military on their payroll."

Don Vincenzo had his bodyguard take a step back and retrieve something by the door, it was a black briefcase, it was large by the looks of it and seemed more like a trunk than anything else. The Bodyguard had placed the briefcase on the desk, allowing Mael to gaze at it with not too fond curiosity, watching the old Don like he was losing some workers in his head.

"What's this? Am I meant to be UP-Fucking S and deliver to someone? I ain't no messenger, I am Michael fucking Pavanno and I'll be treated with the respect you gave my father..."

Don Vincenzo shrugged before motioning for his Bodyguard to grip the shoulder of Mael tightly and all he did was sit there as he narrowed his eyes on the boy for a little while. He could see the kid had some arrogance in him, mixed in with the classic Pavanno hotheaded style of his, it was clear that this was no simple boy and he had been through something but he did not really care.

"If you allowed me to finish young one, I would have been able to tell you what this is for, it contains documents regarding the building of Gomorrah and The Tops, your father had plans and he left them to me or better yet to Benny, who now works for us in the same capacity. We want you to build businesses, get a feel for things and see where you can make the most money because this is just the beginning. I want you to be ready to make a ton of cash and soon, understood?"

Mael knew that he had no other choice but to accept, this guy wasn't exactly asking and he knew that he could do some things to make the time go by faster, he sighed and decided to get on with, motioning for the guard to let go of him.

"I understand, I shall get to work Don Vincenzo..."

A Couple Days Later...

"Are you serious, I gotta work for you, now? I don't give a fuck if your father was Charlie Pavanno, kid, you gotta understand, it doesn't matter. Your father was different, he had his moments of power and his fall from grace but every great man has that moment and you haven't had that yet, you still believe that the world owes you for being the spawn of Charlie Pavanno, hm?"

Mael was in a bar of South Philly, he did not remember the name, mostly because he did not care to begin with, he was just trying to get through with the day and hopefully find some way to make the Upstate Commission some serious cash, it didn't help that most of his moments were spent trying to find good plots, so far, he had only opened up two places and they had yet to reach the true caliber that he knew they could reach.

"I'm saying the world owes me, Billy, I know that the business has a way of twisting men, making them arrogant, just look at the likes of men that have had their power and slowly but surely, arrogance chipped away at them. We can say that they were inserting their rule over their people but no, they all died the same men, others who saw themselves as the Boss and that ain't me, I ain't greedy and I know my limits, eh?"

Mael knew that this would have been a strange meeting, himself and Billy Pinkman, a former Capo under the Don of the Pavanno Crime Family, Joey. His uncle had since left and his business with the Cartel was left in tatters as the sister and brother had thrown him out on his ass, allowing themselves to rule over the Cordelia Cartel with an iron fist.

"Good but either way, your Uncle had it, I heard the stories. He walked into Philadelphia and insulted the then Godfather of South Philly, he took a beating and kept on ticking, he was someone that didn't earn respect in the right, it took a couple of tries but he earned himself something, it wasn't respect but infamy, he was hotheaded and learned that would not get him far, he adjusted himself, just like we all have too."

Mael took a sip of the Oreo Milkshake that the bartender had specially made for him, it seemed that his reputation had preceded him or the bartender wanted a favor, either way, Mael was grateful for the drink.

"So what are you saying? I stay down? I work under Don Vincenzo and Don Balek that I slowly find myself with the Upstate Mob? That I ain't happening, shit like that, it's too powerful and Isabella wouldn't be too proud of me getting involved with another family's affairs, let alone, a commission."

Billy grumbled taking a sip of his beer, he was thinking over how he had he gone from one of the most powerful Capo's in Seattle to a simple Associate of Michael Pavanno, the kid was good but he was not Joseph good and he hoped that he knew that.

"I'm saying, build a base, gain money, get a crew, and make your money, make your stand. You are not a simple goon for these boys, you'll learn and you will see that they have a weakness but you can't do that without working with them, for now. Go on, do what you need to do..."

Report Post Tip

"Is it really the perfect time to be saying this Bill? Don Vincenzo has ears everywhere, wouldn't be surprised to find you in a meat locker soon enough, business like this is rarely the best and for now, I don't find it all that pleasing. I feel like I am disappointing my father, he was a great man and I learned from some of his closest associates that he loved everybody he worked with, he was a man that had demons and somehow, he had a son. Completely unknown to everybody, completely away from everybody, I was the bastard and I always had this stain on me."

The tone of the conversation had gone off, it would have been clear that Bill did not know how to handle this type of situation, at best, all he could was stay back and watch, he knew that this was only a matter of time and he had to be careful with how he picked and stated his words, even the little things could send the boy over the edge and he could see a lot of potential within this boy. He had a lot of it that even Don Vincenzo approached him, out of all the people he could have sent, it was the Don himself.

"I don't think they care to be honest Mael, you have the blood of Charlie Pavanno, your mother obviously had to be someone in The Life, your father was not one to dally with any woman that flashed their eyes at him. He was someone that cared for his projects, activities and private life. I have no doubt that he was with someone that cared for you, wherever she is."

Mael had heard that all before, how his father was caring and all loving to everybody that had been with him, yet, here was his son, not knowing the true love of a father and instead raised by Security Guards, Mob Bosses, and himself. Actually, it wasn't that different from how his father was raised, just with the added luxuries of being bred into wealth.

"Well, you certainly have a way with words for a man of your stature, but where would I begin? Hm? I already have a couple of places that are doing pretty well but overall, I ain't going to be rolling in dough anytime soon amigo. I need to earn some serious money now."

Mael thought about a certain situation, it wouldn't be the best but it could still provide him with some kind of revenue that he could possibly challenge the Upstate Commission, there was no bad money or good money, there was just money and right now, he needed to make some.

"I have an idea and I think we will need to meet up with a couple of former partners that my father associated with, are you in?"

Billy nodded, heading out the bar as Mael finished his drink and followed him out, he wondered how Billy would react to selling drugs in Philadelphia soon enough...it was only a matter of time.

Two days later...

"You want to what? You're kidding, right? The Cartel, dear fresh Jesus, what the fuck is with drugs and your family? Joey had a cartel, shit never happened there and he ran away with that bullshit. You guys have to learn, drugs are not the only money in the world but it can guarantee you a lot of death and problems in the end, are you willing to do that? Are you willing to become a Druglord? All to secure your future in this world?"

Mael could see that Billy was not adjusting well, he was clearly annoyed with the drug running route but he thought the man would have calmed down, only he had told him two days ago and now it was soon time to meet with Maria Cordelia, Boss of the Philadelphia Branch in regards to Cartel matters, she was someone that Mael had known for a while and he knew that she had a soft spot for him, considering who his father was. Only he knew that he had to gain his own respect from her.

"I'm not kidding, The Omertas run drugs through Chicago and Guns in New York, they have a piece of everything, this is the time when we can make money and lots of it. Don't you see that this is the moment, this is our chance to build something like you said, this is the moment and we can't do that without a few friends, right?"

Billy knew the kid was right but he didn't think he would be taken that literal, shit wasn't that good or perfect, to begin with. He sighed bowing his head and deciding that he could go along with the plan, for now, he looked at Mael with his eyes narrowed, it seemed that the kid knew certain things about this deal that could allow them to gain a little more from this meeting.

"You are right, C'mon, let us get this over and done with, see how we can proceed from there and how we can further ourselves with your little friends here. Just so you know, I don't trust these fuckers."

Mael arched an eyebrow, he did not really care for the information and knew that it was going to be like this, he shrugged and made his way inside, with a reluctant Billy following after him. He did wonder why Pinkman was complaining, after all, he was the one to suggest this and it was his way, he had to make sure that things went correctly.

Report Post Tip

"Michael, it is a pleasure to see you again, under much better circumstances, if I am correct, it seems you are the last Pavanno in the states. How odd, the bastard is the one that remains, while the family line that is still strong, remains in Sicily, while the diluted line is in England, resting. I wonder how much of you Italians really want to ally with a cartel, what can we do for you?"

Mael did not flinch or even give a slight growl towards their dressing down of his family, he knew that the Cordelia's were still pissed over many things. There was the Ruiz incident that he had done formerly, then there was Joey and his deal with another Cartel, it was all over the place and sometimes, he needed a break from it all and knew that this would not be enough for him. He would need to make sure that he had a strong wall of defense, his mind was not going to be besieged by a bunch of fools that had no idea what he was doing here in the first place.

"Listen here you f-"

Mael raised a hand, stopping Billy from going any further and insulting the Cordelia Cartel, while they did not have as much power as some of the main US Mafia and other gangs, they were easy to anger enough that if they thought someone was insulting them, it would be an all-out war and Mael was not strong enough, nor did he have the manpower for that type of beef with the Cartels.

"Peace Billy, calm down, Henrik here is simply a bit pissed, my father shunned them and Joseph ran back to England, he's a bit annoyed at the Pavanno Family. Only, who could blame him? We are not exactly the most prestigious family around, aye?"

Mael turned his calculating eyes back onto Henrik, he could see the El Jefe was something of a loose cannon, he wanted to put a bullet in them and be done with it. Mael knew what he was offering was something that they wanted for a long time, they wanted back into the Drug Game of the United States, without a suitable Distributor, they were not in the best standing when it came to politics of the West.

"We're here to offer you a chance back into the Main drug game of the US, Coke, Heroin, Hash, anything. We can get you some distributors, and maybe, a Lieutenant, someone you can trust to run a crew and be your US Distributor."

Henrik wouldn't lie and say that this wasn't profitable because it was, ever since Charlie Pavanno had cut them off from the US Distribution route, income hadn't been as solid and now they needed to make that money again, otherwise they would be flattened with the new Drug Dealers of Varelli and their way of doing things.

"Who would this be? They'd need a crew, they would need to be supported, who would that person be?"

Mael and Billy shared a look, before turning back to face Henrik, leaning forward, the young bastard spoke with a rich smoothness.

"Us, Billy will handle the distribution. I will be handling the money, a 25% Cut for the use of Pavanno Distribution. From there, it will increase by 1% every 3 Months, understood, Henrik?"

It was a good deal, and one that he had to accept, business with the Pavanno's again was not something that he looked forward to but it was better than not getting access to that distribution route. He shook hands with Mael and eyed the kid for a while, for some reason, he didn't trust him but he had too...for now.

Two Months later...

"Michael! Michael! Michael!"

Mael woke up in his bed as he looked from side to side, he noticed a pile of Coke and Money on his coffee table, he looked up and noticed Billy, the man had changed in his time since they became Lieutenants for the Cordelia Cartel, money was coming in and so was the drugs, they were experiencing a lot of money and shit was getting covered, soon enough, Mael thought that he would have enough to open the Casino for Cachino Balek and Gerard Vincenzo.

"What the fuck is it Billy? Tell Vicky that she's gotta work the bar for fuck's sake, if it's not that, I'll deal with it later man, let me sleep, last night was not the best of times..."

Oh, Last Night was indeed not the best of times, they had run into a rival dealer, worked for the Varelli Cartel and boy were they armed to the teeth with Tommy's and Shotties, now contrary to belief with Mael and his ways of persuasion, it did not end with each of them with an Oreo Milkshake in hand and singing kumbaya. It ended with multiple shots fired and Mael on the run with a duffel bag of cocaine, in the end, they couldn't move the drugs and ended up selling for much lower to a local African American gang, known as the Prophets.

"Well, Vicky's fine but we got a problem, The Prophets, the ones we sold the drugs too, they were killed on the orders of Cordina Varelli. Now, they took the drugs and we still got our money but the rumor is, The Prophets gave us up and told them where we stash our money, drugs, and guns."

Mael rushed out of his bed, taking his 1911 Colt Pistol with an extended clip. He looked at Billy, waiting for him to explain more as he hastily put on a red wine dress shirt and black pants with some boots, he wasn't going to a meeting and thus didn't need to look any different than he was now.

"Have you contacted the boys or any of our street movers? We need them off the streets now, tell them to hunker down, load up, and prepare for battle."

Billy stated that he had already done those things, so that was taken care of. He motioned for Mael to follow him down to the basement as it was here that Mael could hear muffled groans, people screaming more like it, entering, Mael came face to face with Maria Cordelia who had a jubilant smile on her face and a clear victim of torture opposite her in a chair.

"Well Billy, you forgot to mention that Aunt Maria was visiting..."

Mael hugged Maria a bit fearful of her as he felt uncomfortable with the clear victim here in his own basement, he turned around facing Billy who shrugged, clearly stating that she had come here with the man of her own accord.

Maria neither noticed the tension in the air and simply turned around, facing her 'guest' with a smile still in place.

"Mael, would you join me? We have to entertain our guest, this is Ricardo Varelli, Cousin of The Main Branch family..."

Report Post Tip

"Aunt Maria, this seems a bit different from the original plan, doesn't it? I mean, what is Henrik saying about this?"

Maria turned to face her Lieutenant, while she found the Pavanno to be a bit different and a little too calculating for her taste, her brother stated that they needed him for the path into the US and it turned out to be profitable. They had more men and money then ever before, the new reign of the Cordelia Cartel was becoming known to the F.B.I and their rivals, it was soon going to be an all-out war but the question remains, with who?

"My brother is handling his own business, right now, we need to worry about the planned assaults on our Warehouses, The Prophets are no longer loyal and will bow down to any man that gives them a glimpse of power. We've seen fit to remove the heads of the snakes, they are no longer apart of this organization or one of your own Distributors, do you understand? Also, Miguel Cordelia, my younger brother, he will be taking the reins for the Sinaloa Operations back home. I and Henrik will be taking a closer look at your work here."

Michael turned his eyes onto the woman that had practically reached out and saved him when he escaped that twisted hell of a place, now she was wanting to watch over his operation. This screamed of mistrust and the clear signs that they wanted to see if he was loyal to them or himself, he had grown in his own strength, even earning a nickname in some circles but he was not strong enough to take on the Cordelia's, not without another connect.

You see, he knew that this was going to happen, the Varreli's would not allow another Cartel to move in on their territory, apparently, their distributor was a guy by the name of Jiggy Carvallo, the guy seemed to be real low life and now it was entirely a different matter. The Guy had been gunned down a couple of months, no one knew if it was a Cartel Hit or just one of the people that wanted to send a message, it was a mystery.

"How lovely but you still haven't mentioned anything in regards to this fine gentleman joining us for an impromptu meeting in my basement of my Social Club..."

Maria gave the bastard a stare that could melt ice, she did not like the sarcasm but knew that he found himself witty at certain times, only this was not the time for his little moments of sarcasm, this was war and it never changed.

"Listen! This is not the time for the Pavanno sarcasm, this is war and we need to know, whether your with us or you are against Mael, are you a Cordelia? Are you willing to accept what needs to be done from here on out?"

Mael did not know what to answer, he could see that she wanted here and now, he could not give her a sure answer because he did not want to die this early into his work. He had much more to do than play lackey, he gave a simple nod and one thought was going through his head, The game was afoot, it's time he started playing, properly.

Two weeks Later...

"Michael, we got Don Vincenzo on the horn and he ain't happy, this business with the Varreli's - it's not good and he has assets with them, he wants to make sure that you're on board with the right people, understand?"

Mael did not like it, he answered to Upstate, he answered to the Cordelia and not himself, he knew that he could not pull off a big move anytime soon but maybe it was going to be a time that he started to have balls and pull a hit. He needed to cement himself as the next in line for operation and not this small-time shit, he knew that with higher demands, he would need to remove the Cordelia's as they would no doubt hold him back.

"Alright, I'm coming. Shit, alright, give it here."

Mael took the phone and he could already hear the Mob Bosses in the background, as if this was a conference call, only he knew that he would be answering to one man and that was Vincenzo. He sighed into the phone, clearly signaling that he now had the phone in hand and was ready to have a conversation with the Commission.

"Kid, you know why we called you. Maria and Henrik Cordelia, they are relics from your father's era, this can't be the way anymore, the business with them cannot be allowed to go ahead. You have to end it, you've made yourself and us a lot of money, we recognize that. So, we won't get involved but by the end of the month, Henrik and Maria should be removed from their positions, permanently."

Mael sighed into the phone and he could already hear some chatter, some Bosses voicing the opinion that he did not have the stones for this type of job. He already knew that this was going to happen, he even had some of his own boys preparing, getting Rifles, Shotguns, and Tommy's. He wasn't about to let this shit go down without his okay.

"Alright, I understand but the Cordelia's Drug Empire in the US belongs to my Crew, no one else moves in to claim it. I will run the Drugs in and out of the US, it will give you guys a much better cut of the profits and allows me to build the Casino, is that understood Don Balek and Vincenzo?"

The Don's on the Upstate Commission were clearly not happy at this turnaround and did not expect the kid to give this much of a fight in return for the removal of two of his employers, they didn't see him as that cunning and now they know the price for underestimating a Pavanno.

<font size="1">"Alright kid, you got it. After the removal, the Drug Empire of the Cordelia's will belong to you, from there, you will give us 65% of the Profits, no questions asked. Do it kid, we're watching."</font>

Report Post Tip

"Are we really doing this? This move, it's gonna get attention, I can hardly see Victor wanting blood on the streets. This has to be quick, smooth and easy."

Billy sat down in the Social Club, the business today was slow, actually, it was non-existent considering that Mael had shut it down for the day and wanted to discuss with his Advisor, Billy Pinkman. The man was his closest ally and now, one of his best friends. It had been clear from day one that he did not like doing business with the Cordelia Twins and sought out ways to remove the organization away from the explosive duo.

"Since when has a hit gone quick, smooth and easy Billy? It always leads to a war that can never be changed, they have no allies but they have their younger brother back in their country, smoothing things over. This could lead to a war fought in two different countries, something that the world cannot ignore, our existence, well, it's meant to be like were ghosts. People have suspicions about us but they can never truly prove that we are real."

Mael had remembered that lesson with one of his old family friends, it turns out that he had once learned the rules of the Honored Society and now wanted to become one of the few people that could actually be a part of it's higher structure, its powerful branch of Elite Bosses. He was but an associate and was not even close to earning his wings yet, he could not fly as of right now but maybe taking out the Cordelia's would prove to be the thing that he could use to get himself a bit of a push in the right direction.

"Mikey, listen, I am not saying that it's going to be perfect but it might be something that we can't make disappear, we can't be associated with this. This job is not going to be the end of us, you need to be sure, right now. Are you the one to pull the trigger on this job? Are you the kid that the Commission thinks you are or, are you ready to become hitter?"

Mael thought about that himself, he could be the one to become a killer, he had done his fair share before the business in LA had got to him and his former mentor, Jack Waltz had helped him out with that, he was afraid to hear that the man had died due to a takedown in Seattle, he wondered how he came to be in that place of all the others in the world.

As he grew in his time with Jack and whether due to his bloodline or otherwise, he became the Left-Hand and soon after that, he was chucked away into a green portal. He had become different in the other dimensions he had visited, he was not afraid of killing anymore, he knew that it had to be done, nothing else was going to change that and so he had his answer

"If it's needed Billy, I'll shoot the fucking President himself. So, when we take this to Maria and Henrik, we bring them to a diner, we loosen them up and we kill them. For our future business..."

And so, Michael Pavanno had officially tasked himself with killing his current bosses. It needed to them, to provide stability in his current mission and he would be damned if they stopped him from achieving his birthright...

A Dinner to Remember...

<font size="1">It was May 7th when the changing of the guard was about to happy, all of it had been leading up to now, the business with the Cordelia and Varreli Cartels had come to a swift end, with the promise of death on the leaders of the Cordelia Cartel. Billy Pinkman had arranged a sitdown between the parties involved, all of this was going to end. No one suspected anyone to be carrying, under a guaranteed sign of peace, fortified by the words of Billy himself. </font>

<font size="1">Henrik and Maria Cordelia had lived a long life, they were once associates and then Lieutenants for their father and when they learned that they would have the chance to work with Charlie Pavanno, they took it. It was profitable and they made good money, only until the betrayal they had done and he had cast them aside, he did not kill them and the twins had learned that they were indebted to the Mobster of South Philly, he soon became a Boss and from there, a Don. </font>

Charlie was known for his leniency in matters of a political nature, preferring to keep the peace and everyone had hoped that his Son would be the same. They had got that, Mael became something of a whisper, no one knew who he was, considering that the kid had been associated with many factions and who his mother was, some people said that it was someone from Chicago, some said Detroit, either way, Charlie Pavanno had left a legacy for his heir to fill.

No one knew that Mael was exactly like his father, you see, people are often putting facades, Charlie Pavanno, while liking peace, did not mind or did not particularly care if a certain party had to be removed for the peace of their world to remain intact. He would kill if needed and if he had too, he was not one to shy away from violence, he was a Mobster, after all, people saw him differently, while his son saw him as he was, a man of honor and family.

Now it was time to eliminate the threat known as the Cordelia Twins, they were no longer needed and Mael would realize that he was taking another piece of his father's legacy away, the Cordelia siblings would have never become this big at all, things would have been different without the help of his father. He knew that this was a true changing of the guard, now it was time, he had to do this, for the future.

┎┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┒

"I'll tell ya the truth, this was rigged from the start"

┖┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┚

"Michael! You didn't have to do this, it's all too much, you've helped this family out a lot and it feels like you are one of our own, that makes you a brother to me, amigo. You've done us a solid, whatever you wish, it's yours, I love you, Mael."

Maria spoke with a soft voice and her tone was slightly slurred as it was clear that she had been drinking a little with the declaration of peace between the two cartels. He gave the woman a tight-lipped smile as he bowed his head in appreciation, he stood out of his chair and grabbed a fork along with his wine glass that was filled with Mango-Apple Juice.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, if you would please stay seated as I deliver a personal speech that goes out to all the people that gathered here today for the meeting."

Mael looked to Billy and gave him a small smile that the older man nodded to, he turned back to the Cordelia half of the hall boardroom that they were occupying, his eyes had narrowed on some and the others, he gave them his pattened smirk that never seemed to disappoint anyone.

"We've all been through something in this war, peace was never achieved until I came forward and had to reach out to both peaceful. Peace can never be achieved with certain elements remaining in the positions they have now, thus I have to now change my stance with these elements, they have been kind, loving and caring with me but still, it's what best for our survival, if we want peace, the new shall be allowed to move up and remove the old..."

With those final twelve words, Mael looked at Henrik and Maria, all their closest allies with a soft smile before raising his glass high in the air and suddenly, multiple gunshots were heard, blood flying and glass smashing as it fell to the ground...

All the closest associates of the Cordelia Cartel had been put down as all that remained was a wounded Maria and Henrik Cordelia, looking to Mael with narrowed eyes filled with anger, betrayal, and most of all hatred.

"We took you in, your father would not be proud of the man you've become..."

Mael loosened his tie as he continued to sip his drink before calmly placing it on the table as he took out his 1911 Colt Pistol. He watched them both with tears in his eyes, not being afraid to show that he was not good with this but knew that he had to been done...

"My father was not a good man but he knew that having you two was not the best for his life or the city he worked for, now it's time I remove you both, it's what best for peace and for survival, you would have done the same thing. I'll make sure that you are buried in your homes, with your family...I love you both."

With his last statement, Mael shot both of them with deadly precision as they fell back with their chairs. He grabbed his wine glass, turning around to face Cordina Varreli and her lover, Mario Wulf.

"This settles our business, you'll talk with Billy about shipments and routes. Tell Vincenzo I did my duty, I expect him to live up to his, I will see you both in the future. Goodbye."

With that, the Bastard Pavanno walked out of the bloody boardroom as he contemplated what was next for him and his new source of money along with the growing Cocaine Empire that he had just acquired with two simple shots...
