Vincent grew up a very lonely childhood with his father involved so heavily with this thing of ours he rarely had time for him when he was a child, also not knowing his mother made things hard as well. He always had his uncles Ronald Valentine and Jack Valentine to count on though, they made sure he was well taken care of but they had nothing on Uncle Joe and Phillip Ligambi. Once he met those guys after his fathers death they changed his life forever, they brought him into this thing of ours so he could see with his own eyes what his father did all those years. They made him a respectable and well known man around the city. 

Then one day Vincent was sitting around his house relaxing when he received a call from one of Phillips secretary's, they told him that his uncle had been trying to reach him that he had some very important news for him. "Well why doesn't he just come over?" Vincent asked the woman, "He knew you were going to say that, and said because you've been on the run and switch safehouses like you switch underwear then said and I quote tell him to get his little ass over to the HQ." Vincent started laughing, "Well he's got a point alright I'll head over as soon as I can."

Vincent hung up the phone and got dressed, he decided that he should actually try and look nice. He hadn't seen his uncle since before the bank robbery so it would be good to see him, after getting ready he headed downstairs and got in his car. 

He drove across town to Uncle Phillips house, as he arrived he could see Uncle Phil outside with someone else. A woman who Vincent had never seen before, who could this be he wondered as he stepped out of his car.

Giovanna sat in the living room, and looked discreetly at the family photos that decorated the house of her new uncle. "Uncle," she thought. She still could not believe that she had a family that went beyond her mother, grandmother, and father who was unknown since her mother refused to tell her who he was. She always wondered why she had such a small family while the other children possessed so many uncles, cousins, and relatives.

It had been a very troubled week full of news. She still did not quite understand why her mother had finally revealed her true family history at last, but she could bet her grandmother had finally put a little sense into that stubborn head of hers.

Lost in her thoughts, she was frightened when she heard some voices coming from the other room of the house, and stood up from the chair as soon as two men entered the room and waited for the elder to finish the introductions.

"Good afternoon, Vincent. My name is Giovanna. I know it must be a big surprise for you, just like it was for me." Giovanna spoke as she reached out to greet the boy in front of her. He reached out at first, and he seemed just as unresponsive as her. Noting that he was trying to find a reply, she decided to go ahead and continue.

"I only found out, myself, last week about the existence of you and the rest of the family. I heard you were numerous. To tell the truth I'm so nervous that I don’t know now what else to say other than that I always wanted to have a brother, cousins, ​​and uncles. I hope that in time I can be part of the family." She finished speaking, and looked down nervously as she waited for her half-brother's reaction.

As Vincent listened to his uncle speak outside then enter the house he greeted his wonderful aunt, with a hug and kiss then listened to Giovanna his "Sister".. Vincent though to himself he always wanted a sister. Though all he'd ever known was how to survive on his head, then had his world changed when he met his uncles and they showed him this thing of theirs. Now his world was changing again, he had a sister. Someone he would always have to care for and look out for.

As his sister finished speaking he embraced her in a hug immediately and couldn't stop smiling.

"I've always wanted a sister, you ever need anything you let me know!"

Vincent then hugged his Uncle and Aunt then thanked them for introducing him to his sister.

"So I guess we're half sister.. but we got that Ligambi blood running through our blood. Well I know this nice local bar down the street if you wanted to join me and get to know one another."

Giovanna returned the embrace of her brother and said, "What a great idea! So we can make up for lost time, and get to know each other better." Turning to Uncle Philip, she invited him and his wife to come along too. Uncle Philip smiled and shook his head, muttering "let it go another day." 

"It was a pleasure to meet you both. I promise I'll be back early so we can talk more before meeting the rest of the family," Giovanna said as she hugged them both, ready to accompany her brother to the bar he had talked about. 

Vincent signaled for her to follow him. Apparently, the bar was close to the house because they decided to walk there. As she walked alongside her brother, she decided to ask him a few questions. "I heard you were raised by your father as a child and you haven't known Uncle Philip and Uncle Joe too long. What was your childhood like and what are our uncles like? Sorry if I'm asking so many questions, but I do not know what to expect since I've never heard of them." 

Giovanna looked along the side of brother waiting for him to respond, as they continued walking to the Bar.

Vincent could do nothing but smile as his sister talked, finally he had family of course his Uncles were family but they could've never known what it was like for him growing up. He smiled to his sister Giovanna once more and said,

"Oh no you're fine theres never too many questions, my upbringing was honestly pretty normal. Dad wasn't around a whole lot, so I was raised by a nanny until I was around 13 or 14 and Dad passed away. They never did tell me how he died but I gathered he was pretty young himself Mid- 30's when he passed."

" Turn Left up here." Vincent said as they approached an intersection.

"I worked in a lot of the automobile factories around here until Uncle Philly came and found me. Thank god he did I don't know how much of that I could've taken, those guys saved me. They're Noble, Honest, and they look after their own. Honestly they're a god send to anyone they come in contact with."

Vincent stumbles as they go to take their left, they could see the bar only a few buildings away.

Giovanna listened to her brother talking about his childhood, and said while looking at him, "It could not have been easy after the loss of your father until our uncles found you, but you were strong as a teenager because you knew the way to take care of yourself without getting involved in wrong things. I'm proud to be your sister from what I've heard so far."

Standing in front of what seemed to be their final destiny, she noticed that the property was very well located in the middle of some offices. It would probably always be crowded at night until the workers would leave to look for some fun. Giovanna let herself be guided by her brother who was holding her by the arm in order to pass a group that was standing in front of the entrance of the bar.

The place inside made her feel as if she was entering a bar in Italy itself. The richness of the decor surprised her. Small groups were scattered around the tables in the corners of the bar. In the center, there was an area where couples could dance to a pianist who played music from classical to folk.

A young woman came to greet them, and asked them to leave their guns if they have any at the entrance of the bar because it was forbidden to enter with them. Giovanna looked a little alarmed at the girl, and she explained briefly that they had some previous problems with duels after some customers got drunk.

Giovanna noticed that her brother smiled, as he was accustomed to this procedure and he requested a table for two next to the pianist. The girl led them there, and wrote down the orders.

"What a beautiful place, my brother. Do you have any questions you want to ask me while we wait for the drinks?" Giovanna said as she sat in a chair in front of her brother Vincent.
