| Memorial Day - All Gave Some Some Gave All | Started by: FreshDonuts on May 29, '19 20:22 |

A fresher, more tasty looking fried pastry, walks out to the town center in downtown Brooklyn. He pops up onto the thin box meant to carry more if his kind. He waits, people start to gather to hear what this young gangster with a hole in his chest has to say. He removes his hat and begins to speak.
"On Monday, many died." he paused "oh donuts... it seems like so long ago."
Maybe it was because the events of that day started way before Monday or maybe it was because of the many hours people spent fighting to the bitter end.
"I am not going to go into any great detail here, I just want to make a personal appearance on behalf of my father, may God rest his soul, and on behalf of the United Nations."
Fresh moves about a bit uneasy to share intimate information, but continues
"Some of you may or may not know the stigma that is the United Nations. There are plenty of fishing stories going around that started small and grew each time the story was told. Some completely true, others are up for debate. What you won’t likely hear about in those stories is how loyal the United Nations is to each other. It’s not a one-time get in and get out and move on. This fraternity has an infinite membership. Once in, always in. The core, from all over the world, has been the same since the beginning, and we don’t take member adding lightly."
Fresh steps off the box and paces back and forth as he continues
"Part of that commitment is trusting your family will support you. Trust. Taking the word of people outside of the circle will certainly yield negative results. Unfortunately, there was a quasi-member, which hid his allegiance and turned his back, not once, but twice on his brotherhood. The UN looked away when one tagged leader attempted to make a move without conversing with another tagged leader and ended up in a war. Since we support both we wouldn't support one over the other. Unfortunately, because we didn't support one UN's hand was forced to be involved. The same initiating individual, later, chose scuttlebutt over loyalty. That decision unfortunately resulted in a lot of people dying."
Fresh stopped pacing, looking at the ground began to speak again
"I don’t have the answer to all the questions, what I do know is..." He looked up "...when you’re in, you’re in; until you’re not."
He began to pace again
"Like the name United Nations suggests, we are not about “ruling the world” we are about getting in an alliance with good people that want their family to be safe. Sometimes, in order to keep families safe, you have to sacrifice. As such, I would like to state, on behalf of the Godfather of New York, that from this day forward, that the last Monday in May be considered Memorial Day and that we use it to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice, so that the rest of us may live without fear. God Bless those that have fallen, God bless each of you that remain who fought the battles, and God the new relationships and God bless all of you."
FreshDonuts, without stopping his stroll or looking back at the crowd places his fedora on his head and walks back to where he came from. |

Slow clap. And just like the United Nations the time travelers speak of, this one was only a name...acting too slow and too and with ineffectiveness. The UN has no standing army. And recent events have reinforced that narrative that will echo for decades and continue to cost many, many innocent lives. A peace keeping organization that refuses to understand that violence can be an effective tool...ah nvm. |

Everyone does that sir Justpassingbye.
Don't forget; we're in the mafia. We're criminals, not the law or super heroes. If there is a single civilian in the way of my goals you bet your ass I'm going to pop him.
We all worked together and saved lives. OUR lives. OUR allies lives. That's what matters, not a handful of innocent civilians. |

Thinking we killed civilians for fun, in a war there are many that get harmed since they as civilian like some say supports the enemy and therefor they must be killed.
And as kenny says we saved lifes all of us taking care of they who were fighting in a bad way against all others so we have no choice than to take action together, learn warfare fgs |

Doc stood among the men who gathered to listen to the young gangster standing on top of a thin box. He wondered what the hole in the center of his body was all about. The speaker reminded the Doc of a politician giving a speech in the streets in his hometown. But the man was surely no politician, he was a gangster just like the Doc. And just like the speaker, the Doc would also like to remember those who had fallen in the recent war. Wars, all the Doc knew about wars is that it’s Bad For Business! Oh, the Doc becomes busy when war happens.....more violence means more clients for him. More stitching, more plugging and more amputating of limbs. But in general, it was Bad Business for the family. Money making stands to a halt as everyone battles for the preservation of their Family’s Business. Doc then places his bag on the ground and removes his hat, holding it with both hands behind his back. He remembered a funeral he witnessed when he was on a boat on his way to the States. An old traveller suddenly died of pneumonia and the captain ordered for the body to be wrapped in clean white linen, tied securely near the feet, the waist and the neck. And before the body was thrown over to the sea, a sailor said “Fair winds and following seas to you old mate.” The Doc then whispered a short prayer to all those who died then adds: “Fair Winds and Following Seas to your New Voyage!” |

"Abubu (It's interesting how one of the regimes is ruling through alliances...)," Baby Beel told one of his maids. He shrugged. "Gaga (Many of us would want to be in the same position. In power, pressing our will over everyone else. It's part of the mafioso way.)"
Baby Beel left. He wasn't part of the United Nations. |
