Greeds got the prices to these high prices, so why can't a stubborness to buy them get them back down?

The people buying them at such high prices are as much apart of the cause as the people selling them. 

I would say lets Boycott the system, but this is the mafia, the only real solution is to shift more of the whites and browns and make up the loss..

All you can really do is sit back and wait for the prices to drop or deal with it.

For those uninvolved, or protected, during a war, you can make millions in the marketplace.  It is exceptionally dangerous though.  I have seen credits sell for $500k, then when the economy contracts and the morgue is full, people are lucky to get $125k for them.  Speculators can get very, very wealthy.  But, as ever, it is the upper echelons, or the offspring of the rich that can take advantage.

Whats your problem? Price too steap? Tough shit. Dont buy. These are the breaks in life, sometimes the things we want are out of our reach. Only thing you can do is work hard to be in a position to pay the asking price, if your willing to.

Josiah hasn't owned a single credit yet and has been around these parts for 2 weeks now. I'd love to buy some and go do some crackdowns, or better yet, buy a bunch and get my damn timers. But I wont. I refuse to pay so much for it, but I certainly dont feel any anger towards those attempting to get such a high price, its all about supply and demand. There is a low supply right now and a high demand, so of course people are going to keep upping the price to get the most they can get. Id question their mind if they didnt do that, actually.

So please, for the love of all things mafioso, stop your frigging complaining and just get on with it!!

Apart from not dragging down the price of the credits.  Fritz, don't give up the credit fight though.  With you trying to keep everyone honest, the world will be a better place.  Poorer for those of us who take advantage of them what want MIAs and CDs but fairer for those who object to market forces.

Anyway to the point of the topic, the prices are high because of people pushing the market up to make profit. This practice was basically advocated by the player account of one of the admins a couple months ago. The one where he told us that the game balance was fine because you could do this to even up with the people who actually purchase the credits themselves. Now we just have a bunch of jaded people without enough money to buy any credits and growing frustration due to the continuing growth of the gap between haves and have nots. I'm curious if anything is being thought of to counter this inflation of the credit market or if the plan is to let supply and demand run its course?

People can go on about its the mafia and we're out only to make a profit but at the end of the day this is a still an online game and people will see the inequities created artificially inflated credit prices especially in a community as small as ours. Hopefully theres not too much collateral damage from the market being the way it is right now because I think its not good for the game as a whole for credits to be beyond the reach of someone whos just learning their way around this thing of ours.
