I just want to throw in a quick suggestion. It will not be totally liked I'm sure but I think it could be away to solver our lack of activity.

This is first and foremost a text based game, but when people hardly use text it really turns into something else.

My theory is, is to turn the way we interact more like Facebook, I know it sounds silly but think about it, do you not think it could work?

In crew we could hit a link and it would bring us to wall where you could see everybody posting to each other. It would definitly bring a lot more interaction.

I'm not saying to change profiles, i'm just talking about walls instead of forums, think about it..

However MR is usually an indepth 5/10 minute read, it's time consuming and requires people to think before speaking.

It's general apathy towards posting and responding tht causes poor activity on the streets in my opinion :S

Not really Facebook way but our own version of something similar to that...

I think it could work,

when signing on you get updated with what people are doing, both thread people are commenting on and status's that people can write

MR is a text based RPG... its a bit harder to RP with a FB style user interface, however, the ability to set status and get updates from your contact list would be kinda cool.

I don't see a problem with the layout already. I say keep it as it is.

For the HQ's this idea would be good, defernatly help with crew interactions I think. But for the likes of the streets I'm not sure if a FB style affair would contribute to RP very well for the reasons already stated above.

if i wanted mafia on facebook, id play that garbage they have on it already

I agree with Pablo, I think it would fit in well within the HQ's for family interaction. 

I agree with Pablo and Brick on this one, it really is a great idea, but I can only see it working properly in the HQ's, it sure would cause more interaction I think!

I believe a feature like this is going to be implemented with the new user interface, there is a box called Crew Chat that does something similar to what you are suggesting.
