The First Encounter

The police station was chaotic with all its activity. The chief was constantly yelling to a phone. Detective were walking around with zip locks in their hands. They were trying to connect the dots that plague Delaware. Interns were running around and dropping piles of paper on the floor. It was in this scene that Baby Beel sat on his detective's desk with his legs crossed. He wore his shades and suit, and was pants-less as usual.

He looked at the nerd beside him. He was lanky and wore glasses, but Baby Beel instinctively knew that he wasn't as innocent as he seemed. He smelled of money, violence, and women. Baby Beel didn't really understand women's types, but he was sure that this nerd was one of them.

"Coo (So, you think the Durds have something cooked up, ey?)" Baby Beel asked the nerd with contempt. He was jealous of the man. Baby Beel still got embarrassed going pants-less in front of his girl playmates. "Dadah (Maybe you're just using the police for your financial gain?")

Baby Beel hopped off from his desk and the man saw something dangle a bit. It mattered not though, for Baby Beel looked at the man (ElijahBlanco) suspiciously.

Elijah squinted almost indefinitely as his eyes darted towards the thing that was dangling. For a moment there he was not thinking about the case at all. Before things would escalate, Elijah cleared his throat and went back to the conversation at hand. He could also feel Beel's stare on him, which didn't make him too uncomfortable, but it was amazing how a tiny body could be so intimidating sometimes. Elijah was thinking.

"Granted that there a significantly smaller amount of dead bodies turning up as the result of this plague is enough to tell me that these durds are getting lazy." Elijah looked at Baby_Beel with a suspicious smirk. He didn't have an intensely inquisitive mind and often used his assumptions to solve things. They were right most of the time - or that's what Elijah thought.

But Elijah had confidence on this one particular case he was put on with the iconic baby detective. Even though they literally had only met five minutes ago, things were going well so far...

But not all good things last forever.

Report Post Tip

"Baa (Stop staring! That's rude!) Baby Beel said. The other detectives looked at the man with a frown. Baby Beel had the respect of this police station. He had solved many crimes. Although Baby Beel wasn't intelligent, in his long time serving as a detective, he solved cases by his instincts and his secret connections with the mafia. Yes, Baby Beel was a corrupt cop. And yes, he solved cases not by providing solid evidence. He solved cases by bribing (or threatening judges), planting evidence, outright murder, and the like. He always got the culprit though, and the police officers loved him for it. And feared him too. He had shot a corrupt agent under his payroll. All the police officers sought justice in their compromised way, but they also knew that Baby Beel also solved them for the benefit of his family and his own gain.

Baby Beel grunted and beckoned the man. These past few days, there were crime families rising up in all cities, except Seattle. All the families were busy cleaning them up. However, Baby Beel felt that there was a sinister plot behind all of this. It wasn't just the GodFather punishing the Godfathers for not setting up someone in Seattle. Baby Beel wanted to find out what these families were up to. He would then use the powers of the police to help wipe them out from the streets. He was tired of knocking bodyguard heads together.

"Gaa (We will now go to Seattle. I think it all started there. These families suddenly popped out because of that city. I called you in here because you had money, connections, and intellect. You will help me find out what happened, and in return, I will help you with your businesses.)" Baby Beel looked at the man suspiciously. He was pretty sure that these crime families were messing with the man's businesses. That was why he was so willing to come. However, he needed some insider business knowledge and money to smoothen up the process. Since it was mutually beneficial, he decided to bring him along.

Judging from Beel's snarky response, Elijah quit the stare down immediately. He towered over the baby detective. But everyone, and that means everyone, down here at the police station - knew that this baby was the best of the best. He was probably already reciting the alphabet in the womb. Elijah gave a brief nod as he looked down. A trip to Seattle it is then! Elijah went outside and walked with him. He offered to carry him.

Just as they approached the sidewalk, it looked like Beel was trying to hail a cab. Elijah leaned his head back, chuckling in a very grim and narcissistic way. "Don't worry about a taxi, baby. Hop in," Elijah pointed to a shiny black vehicle parked just up ahead. There was a man dressed in a suit and was using one of his hands to gesture inside the car.

No wonder Elijah will was so willing. He was stinking rich. He had made many enemies over his wealth, but Elijah had never experienced this kind of incident before with the random guys popping up and their bodyguards trying to break into Elijah's many businesses. Elijah went into the car first and waited for Beel, before turning to his personal driver and announcing where they're going to be heading.

"Seattle, Martin. Step on it."

After Martin had witnessed Elijah and Baby_Beel get inside the car, he hopped into the drivers seat and readied himself for the long journey ahead of them. "Sure, boss. I'll let Tim know we're coming by to his helicopter services."

Baby Beel gave a satisfied nod as he hopped onto the shiny black vehicle. The man actually looked at his eyes (and not his crotch) , and also offered to let him ride a helicopter, and that pleased Beel. Elijah sure knew how to treat a pants less baby."Bow (I can see why you're filthy rich now,)" Beel said proudly. "Chicka (You know how to treat the people that matter!)"

It wasn't long before they arrived at Tim's private helipad. Baby Beel's face somehow literally shone, and his eyes turned into stars. He immediately tugged at Elijah's shirt and pulled him towards the helicopter. He felt an evil impulse and smiled.

They flew to Seattle, and during the flight, Baby Beel pointed everywhere. While keeping a suspicious eye on the pilot, he pointed at the birds they passed, and the buildings that looked smaller than him (which gave Beel no small amount of pride). Baby Beel actually wanted to pilot the helicopter himself, but he needed years of experience to actually fly things. And he was only a few months old. So, in jealousy and general distrust of strangers, he made faces at the pilot. As he was making faces and pointing at the rotor blade, he noticed that it was transforming into blades, the weapon kind.

"Wow (Oh shirt,)" he said. (He disliked shirts because they made him uncomfortable.) The helicopter had gotten him too excited that he neglected the evil impulse he felt. He thought it was his, but now knew otherwise. The helicopter doors opened, the seat belts were unfastened, and everyone inside, including the pilot, was sucked out of the helicopter.

"Wow (Guess it wasn't the pilot)" Baby Beel muttered as they were falling through the sky. Baby Beel was inwardly telling himself to be more vigilant. The helicopter distracted him because it looked like one of his toys. Sure, he was wary of Elijah, and even the pilot. But he should also be wary of helicopters that could transform into robots. Yes, their first enemy in this mysterious plot was a helicopter-robot-assassin. It flew by just now and nicked some hair off Baby Beel's head.

Report Post Tip

What remained on Beel's head was noticeably less than the amount of hair that had been there before. Elijah saw this, and tried so very hard to suppress the chuckles. Instead, he pointed into the direction the unusual helicopter robot went and dropped his jaw. "I guess this one is for the books, eh?" Luckily, Elijah wasn't all that mad about the ordeal and he wasn't going to send any of his men to find that thing. He looked down at Beel, not realizing that the baby had landed in his arms after they all got kicked out of the helicopter. Or maybe first thing he did was grab onto the baby as an instinctive move.

There was a long pause before any of them spoke. Elijah was busy still trying to process what the fuck just happened. He wish there were those compact devices to call people on so he could quickly figure out what the next flight at the nearest airport to Seattle would be. His feet stayed still on the ground while he pinched the bridge of nose with his thumb and index finger. Elijah drew out a long sigh. It's been an eventful morning and he wasn't quite sure if they were even going to make it to Seattle anymore.

What else could go wrong?

And just so things could get better, it starts raining. Really hard. It's pouring down and the winds are freezing. Elijah looks at Baby_Beel with a wary expression. "You should... winter up."

Report Post Tip
Baby Beel was in ElijahBlanco 's arms as the rain started pouring. He shook the water off himself like a wet dog, but of course, immediately got wet again. He climbed Elijah and hugged him behind his shoulder. That was Baby Beel's normal position when he was in Japan with Tatsuya Oga. Tatsuya was now gone, but Elijah looked like a suitable partner. He did save his life.

They were falling through the sky when Elijah grabbed him and spread his arm wide. Some kind of glider suddenly opened from his back, and they glided through the air and landed on the wartorn ruins of Seattle. There were new crews in the city, sure, but Seattle was often a competition city. It will be a while before it shook its aura of death.

They managed to land on the ground safely enough. Elijah did some impressive things in the air. They made loops, and he even drew a juvenile air penis, the same thing you'd find in your notebook if you had a perverted classmate. That was how they evaded the robots blades.

"Aboo (Ready to fight? I saw you with swords and samurai armor the other day. Now's a good time,)" Baby Beel said as rain or sweat flowed down his cheeks. He felt a massive feeling of evil from Seattle. It was the same kind of feeling coming out from the helicopter. "Agah (Seattle is the source of it all, all right. I think the invasion started here. It wasn't just the usual crew invasion, like the Durdens. I think it was a robot invasion. And there's more robots hiding amongst the Seattle ruins."

More robots started appearing from behind the Seattle buildings, and they pulled out guns and blades. Baby Beel was just sputtering nonsense, to be honest. He thought robots were cool. His eyes shined as he got his wish.

The Seattle invasion was going to come to an end pretty soon. Elijah Blanco’s life flashed before his eyes when he fell out of the sky, but quickly came back to life when he realized the state of his investigation. The durdens, robots, whatever they were… are still out there. Blanco faced Beel with a smug expression on his face. “We could take them out one by one, or we can annihilate them all in one go?” Elijah had a feeling that the baby detective was looking at him crazy, as if Elijah was trying to make up a scenario. But no – Elijah, was, in fact – very serious.

As soon as possible, Elijah had called every last one of his guards and told them to track down these robots in all corners and parts of Seattle. What was said was fulfilled. Each of the guards were being grouped by the chief commander, who had met up with Beel and Elijah prior to discuss the attack plan. As Elijah was nodding and talking to the chief commander, he couldn’t help but steal a quick glance to Beel. He was so interested in the situation that Elijah started smiling. Elijah tried to go back to his serious mode but failed. Elijah put up a thumbs up when Beel looked back at him.

After the discussion commenced, the evil deed was executed. But, this deed, of annihilating every single one of these shitters was for the greater good.

Report Post Tip

Baby Beel flashed a toothy grin, sucked on his thumb for a bit, and gave a thumbs up. He even tried putting his thumb in his Elijah's ear, but didn't succeed. "Teh (The threats in most cities have been neutralized. You're right. This is the only city remaining.)"

"Soo (Get your sword out please,)" Baby requested. "Tah (I will use my Super Milk Time and combine our consciousness. I will stay on your back and you may draw on my demonic powers. You will have demonic magic, and increased power and speed. You have five minutes to wipe them out... or your body will crumble.)"

Baby Beel got a milk bottle out of nowhere and shook it a bit. He made sure it was warm and forced the milk bottle teat into Elijah's mouth. Purple tattoos started forming on Elijah's face while their eyes turned white.
