I know that in some countries, like in USA, claim that there is no climate change. I live in Greece, next to the sea.. The level of the sea was raised the past 30 years a lot, I estimate in my village around 30 cm (1 feet) The past 10 years, summer was getting slightly hotter and hotter. Usually in Greek climate I would start going to the beach for swimming the months of April, or May. In winter months we had very few rainfalls, so rivers were all dry, and wells also dry (we use wells to provide our village with water) This year, weather got upside down. We had the most rainfall the past 50 years. Rivers still run with water. I could only start swimming in June (that's a personal worst record) The climate change is real. Extreme phenomenal are more and more often in Greece, and climate, from super medium changes between the seasons, went to extremely fast. Now, I'm not saying that we can sure say that is the man, or nature that anyway causes climate to change. Anyway climate changes all the time-when we check the history of earth. So prepare your properties, weather is gonna get ugly! |
