"Zeke, they've captured him." He was put into a position that involved one of his warriors, the chief of movement within their little group. Now he had no idea what to do, Jake had surprised them and he wondered what else could happen. He got his answer, Erwin Smith had joined up with the Wardens and their alliance with the Russians. "Reiner Braun is here for you Chief, as well as Annie Yeager." Walking in, the two of his warriors would seem like they were ready to die, sacrifice themselves for a greater cause. They all placed themselves within this unit for one thing only, family. Something that only two of them could truly feel, Zeke himself, his father was a man of many whims and women were among them. "Thank you Colt, you may also stay inside for this little meeting. After all, you will soon be the one to lead these people." Zeke said with a blank tone, something that made the hairs of the warriors stand up. They had never heard Zeke this way, it seemed like losing Galliard was not what he expected. "Soon enough, we will be having a festival. To celebrate the coming of a new age within the Sinaloa underworld. All of the heads will be there, I want you on your best behavior. Erwin Smith has been invited by the head himself, Hector Gonzalez. " All the warriors were stood in shock if Erwin Smith was being invited, where did that leave Peralta? The man that was said to be in charge of the Wardens. "Still, Hector wants the Warriors stationed at every exit of the street, this festival is not going to be done in a quick simple speech. He expects to be attacked and we will make sure that we give them all we have...understood?" His warriors nodded before heading out, only one remained back, that being Annie Yeager. "I knew you'd be the one to stay back, what is it, Mrs.Yeager?" Annie tensed, she could not help but grit her teeth at the wording he used. Yes, she married one of those devils but she would prove that she was loyal to the cause. This cause that had taken so much from her. Even her father was back home, waiting for his daughter's return. "You seem calm Zeke, almost too calm. Is there something you're not telling us?" Annie always expected Zeke, she was suspicious of him, especially regarding Jake Peralta. He seemed to idolize the man, how he rose through the ranks and became buried within the secret world of murder, drugs, and politics. "No Annie, there is not. Is there something you wish to share?" She shook her head, knowing that if she did, she would not do it with Pieck or Reiner. Those two were like dogs with Zeke, following his every word without question. If she did need to talk, she would talk with Galliard or Bertolt. Now those two were in different situations and left it difficult for her to talk with anyone. "Then please, catch some rest warrior. For tomorrow, we meet the head devil himself." |

2 Days before The Festival... "Erwin Smith, it's a pleasure to welcome you here at the Marley. We hope that you had an excellent trip here." Zeke greeted Erwin with a smile, noticing some of his personal guards. Among them was Mikasa and Levi Ackerman, Eren Yeager, and Jean Kirstein. Clearly, he was showing his troops off, as did Zeke. Annie stood at his left side as Reiner stood at the right, with Colt standing just in front of Reiner. Showing his position as the next in line, as well as Pieck standing by Annie, a couple of inches behind her. "Zeke Vilmar, it's a pleasure to be welcomed here at the Marley. Our trip was a bit different, considering the escort we had. Nonetheless, we hope for some good and peaceful talks." Erwin spoke in a clear authoritative tone, something that had Zeke admiring the man for a moment. He was a born leader, someone that people looked too in times of need and this was exactly that, a time of need. The Eldians organization was slowly crumbling with recruitment being halted until Peralta stepped in. He was like a guardian angel. "As do we, I hope that I get to meet the man in charge. I assume he'll be here for the Festival, correct?" Erwin started walking, admiring the art and statues that depicted many wars, some of them being an infamous great fictional battle. Of Titans, a battle that Erwin had read about in a book, it was quite fascinating. He had heard the author was gearing up for a sequel as well, he couldn't wait to read that. "Mr. Gonzalez is scheduled to be there, yes. He does have a speech planned. It's for the future of our growing empire. He wants the best, I do have a question, is young Galliard being treated well?" Zeke noticed the shocked look on Erwin's face, it had only been a week since his capture and it seems that they had yet to be informed of something. "Did your operatives not tell you? Porco Galliard has since escaped Peralta and his forces, he was last seen at the airport, my first suspect was that he was here, with you." If Porco was not here? Then just exactly where was he? Did Erwin have something to do with this? Did he help him escape? And also, just where was Jacob Peralta? |

"You know your wife is here, correct Eren?" The Eldians were sitting down in their respective rooms. Each of them preparing for whatever was to happen, they had brought their weapons and were not going to be caught off guard. "Thanks, Jean, I never noticed the blonde haired woman, did you?" His sarcastic retort was all anyone needed to know that Eren was put off. He had clearly not expected his wife to be here for the festival when their groups had first split, it became something of a renowned rumor. How Annie had run away from Eren, no longer wanting to be the devils that they had become in such a short time. "Eren! Calm down, your wife's appearance doesn't change anything, say, how's Mathias doing?" Eren could not help it and went as stiff as a board, looking at Jean with his eyes narrowed. Did he have to bring up his son? The boy was only two and being raised by his cousins. "He's doing fine Jean, please don't bring him up. I do not want to lose focus on the goal here, peace has to be achieved right? No victory without sacrifice." Jean watched his friend for a moment before sighing and turning away. He wondered how the others were doing, they were all tense and how things were soon going to be exploding soon. It was only a matter of time before someone tipped over the edge. "Erwin, are you sure about this? He's known as the beast for a reason, having Zeke watched is not the best idea." Levi leaned against the door as he watched his commander strap on some elbow pads, they were all preparing for something big to happen. They expected as much, now though, no one could help it. The situation of having the Sinaloa cartel on their asses was not for the best and a crippling blow would have to be soon. "Zeke is the chief of movement, having him watched is good. Knowing who he is meeting with and seeing what he'll be doing, leading up to the festival." Levi could not help but agree, it was a smart move but also quite risky. He wondered who he had following the chief. It had to be someone skilled, besides him and Mikasa, no one else could do as well but there were some. "Other than yet, enjoy what the Marley has to offer, I hear there is a strip club down in the basement. Take some of the guys and enjoy yourselves." He could hear the dismissal but would not be heading to the strip club, actually, it seemed out of character for Erwin to mention such an activity. Levi turned his head, noticing how Erwin went back down to scribbling down his own notes before he shrugged. He left his commander to his thoughts, still questioning if someone was wrong with the man "Do you trust them to keep the peace, Zeke?" Colt stood next to Zeke as they gazed out at the sea, each of them having a single smoke in hand. "They'll do what they need to do Colt, they always have. It was before we gained the newest recruits in Reiner, Annie, Bertolt, and Marcel. They always have and will. There is no changing the instincts to be free." Colt nodded, for now, they both enjoyed the peace as Colt took a small glance at his leader. He found the man was being calm about the situation, just what did he have planned? "You're right, there is no changing the baser instincts, we just have to continue and prepare for any assaults, is that not correct?" Zeke smiled, turning his head and throwing the smoke out to the sea. "That's exactly right Colt, as expected of you." |

Eren sat at the bar in the Marley, shit was becoming more undone as the days to the festival became much clearer. There was something at work here, notable people from all around the world was coming. Even some gangs from different cities, as well as a few Governors of states. This was something of a big announcement and Eren was already dreading the next move, he knew what was going to happen. He had to speak with Erwin. Did they ally with a terrorist? "You know, a husband would speak to their wife when they visit the Hotel she's been working at for the past couple years." Annie announced with her usual cold tone, only Eren could detect a hint of affection with it. The very woman who left him now was becoming a different person. She believed there cause was unholy, yet she was the one to get him involved in the first place. "Well, a mother would visit her son after not seeing him for two years. I guess we're all just adjusting, right Annie?" A bitter chuckle escaped the woman of his affection, the one that had trained him into an unstoppable machine. "Yeah I guess we are, you know, I wondered where you were. I even tried to contact your father but then I learned, he died. Want to tell me about that?" Grisha was a man that Eren grew to idolize. Only Eren had never spoken of his father again, he did not want to be idolizing a man that worked with the special forces of warriors. The very people that his movement was fighting. "He died in battle, like a good little warrior. Now Annie, why did you come here? Last I heard, you did not wish to be a part of this little group. You did not want to be a part of a devil's life. Which includes our son." Annie turned to face her husband, eyes glistening with a single tear slipping down her cheek. "Is that what you would believe, hm? It seems that you've made your mind up about me Eren. So, I'll see you at the festival." Before she left, Eren placed his hand on hers, the little psychical contact that he had with her for over two years. "Just, stay away from the main platform of the Festival. Goodbye Annie." Eren finished his drink, walking off without another word as he simply could not reveal any more without it being treason. He loved her but they had to overthrow Hector Gonzalez, it was the only way. |

7 Hours until the festival... Civilians walked the streets, going about their daily business as the biggest festival that New York had ever seen was about to take place. Everything was perfect, decorations, food, drinks, and entertainment. This was it, the moment that would define their very legacy. The Warriors were on the lookout, he would not let a single thing go wrong today and he would make sure to punish the party that wished to stop this glorious moment. "Willy, it's time. The stage is set up and the warriors are at their stations. This is something that the world is going to hear about in the coming weeks. We cannot allow this to go wrong, are you sure you want to do this?" His ever faithful sister, Claire asked. They knew what they were about to do, this was more than a simple mission, it was suicidal. The Tybur family were nobles of New York, living in the posh neighborhood, using their fame as mercenaries to get ahead of the pack. They were renowned to be a part of the once feared faction known as the Eldians. While they should have been killed, they had been spared by the Sinaloa Godfather, Hector Gonzalez. He used the Tybur family and their fame, they were known as the Warhammer of justice, striking down their enemies with a vengeance. This was that moment, they were going to strike a fatal and devastating blow into the heart of their enemy, Jake Peralta. They heard the news, he had kidnapped a member of the warrior program. Now it was time for the Tybur family to rally the family's, governors, and gangs. They were to bring about a war on the Peralta organization and bring them to heel, no matter the sacrifice, they would then die out. No one was going to stop this movement of Sinaloa. "Sister, don't you understand? This is more than war, this is more than a simple slap on the wrist. We are bringing a new type of power into this back and forth struggle, the freedom of speech. People will see Peralta as terrorists, they will see him for what he is, a devil." Claire looked into Willy's eyes and could see that he did not wish to do this to his people, he was scared. He did not wish to be used as a puppet and so she did the one thing she could, she placed a gun in his hand and gave him the power to decide what he wanted to do. "Brother, we swore an oath. We are on the inside, this is more than just Gonzalez, these are our people. This use to be our home, now they've polluted this place with drugs, it used to be clean. It used to be Eldia's home, now it is the den of corruption." Willy shook his head, voices coming into his head, the voice of his father, he did not wish to bring this into the current business of what they had sworn once upon a time. Once an Eldian, always an Eldian. "Sister, must I fight Erwin Smith? Must I be the puppet they wish me to be? This is not the war we are meant to be fighting, this is the power that we should hold, the power over life and death. We are the Tyburs, we are the ones that are supposed to fight for justice, not oppose it!" Claire nodded her head, reaching out with her hand as she guided him over to the mirror, making sure that he looked at himself. He was dressed like a doll, controlled. "Just what shall we do Willy?" Staring at himself for a moment longer, he sighed, looking out the window. "We do what we have always done sister, we fight." |
