I have came here today to do the lords work. Some of the lords flock seem to be missing. As a fisher of men, it is my job to attend to the herd in times of need and retrieve those poor lost souls. I have travelled a great long distance to deliver this sermon today, in the hopes that even just a few of you are reached. The new year is nearly upon us, and it's a chance for a change in each in every one of you. The lord cares not, what you have done in your past as long as you welcome him into your heart. If you can do that he'll be waiting in the great here after with open arms for you child. If you all gather around i will begin my sermon.

The grace of the lord jesus christ and the love of god and the fellowship of the holy spirit be with you all!
Today we have gathered to celebrate the new year. I've prepared a very special sermon for you all today. Regaurding the new year!
The father reaches into his pockets and pulls out a bottle of holey water and unscrews the cap.
Dear friends, this water will be used to remind us of our baptism. Let us ask god to bless it,and to keep us faithful to the spirit he has given us.
Lets us pray, God our father, your gift of water brings life and freshness to the earth; it washes away our sins and brings us eternal life. We ask you now to bless this water, and to give us protection on this day, which you have made your own. Renew the living spring of your life within us and protect us in the spirit and the body, that we may be free from sin and come in your prescence to recieve your gift of salvation. we ask this through christ our lord.
Amen.
The father sprinkles the crowd with the water and makes the sign of the cross
May almighty god clense us of our sins, and through the eucharist we celebrate make us worthy to sit at his table in his Heavenly kingdom.

As we prepare to celebrate the mystery of christs love, let us acknowledge our failures and ask the lord for pardon and strangth.
I confess to all mighty god, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that i have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what i have done, and in what i have failed to do; and i ask blessed mary, ever virgin, all the angels and saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the lord, our god.
May almighty god have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.

Today truely is a special day. Its a good time to make amends for past transgressions and an even better time to renew your faith and the principles of our father the lord jesus christ. In this thing of ours we sometime's let evil like pride get in our way. Ive seen pride kill nations and the souls of mortal men everyday. The lord is king cock of the roost no matter what any of you heathens think. It is when we, mere mortal men get to big for our britches, that the good lord will bring along someone more powerful than ourselves to knock us down a peg or two. Ive studied the obits and the archives of this great land and it happens to everyone. To a mightly ruling godfather all the way down to a mouthy civillian. The lord hates it when we become too pridefull for the wrong reasons such as wealth or power. Ive seen it all, yes folks, this is for certian. If you place yourself over the lord, you will be strucken down. you may have 200 bodygaurds, but no one can hide from the lord. So let us learn to turn the other cheek, perhaps and forgive those that we view have caused some transgression against us. If the lord wants a land burnt to the ground, let him do it, no us, common men. Men are corruptable, but the lord is pure and great. For when we try to play god we anger him.
Let us also remember to be charitable, not only during the holiday seasons, but all year round. But also remember the old saying, if you teach a man to fish, he can eat for a life time. So be generous for all the right reasons and the benifiets will reap upon your headquarters and your homes. Who knows that new thug may one day help your coffers grow beyond your wildest dreams....
I will add one more thing to todays sermon. Treat those as you would like to be treated. On earth we have certian traditions and rules, as we do in heaven. But remember god hates pridefull people, who are all too proud to rub rank in your face. It is up to god, to deal out punishment and justice...Remember this when you throw around threats. If someone disrespects you, try turning the other cheek and be respectful yourself. You will look alot better in gods eyes, and in the congregations.
