The Spooky House on Ninth Blvd Started by: Frankie_Vizzini on Jul 05, '19 11:05

Frankie_Vizzini stood outside this old two story house from his car. Frankie turns off the engine and gets out. Closing his door and walked to the trunk of his vehicle. Frankie grabbed his lockpick, his pair of black gloves and a ski mask. He looks down the street, before turning around and checking the other side. Nobody in sight, a good time to make his move. He wonders when Tethis is going to show up. This job was supposed to be a two person effort. To calm his ever growing nerves, Frankie smoked his last cigarette which he was holding in his left hand.

Frankie then decides to check out this old house for himself, to see if anyone is actually home or not. Working his way around the house and jumping over the side gate, he made his way to the backyard. Just from Frankie's first glance this place seemed completely abandoned which was a good sign indeed. Frankie went to the back window, lifted it and jumped inside. While now inside, Frankie moved through the kitchen and into the living room. For some reason the radio was playing and Frankie walked over, turning it off. Frankie jumps before turning around sharply when he heard a giggle coming from behind him. But nothing seems to be around him. Frankie shakes it off as the wind..... and continues to the second floor. Ascending the staircase he could swear that the portrait of the former residents were staring at him... but that's not possible right?

Now on the second floor, Frankie walks through the hallway. But again he hears a giggle, which makes him turn around. But this time he see's something. It is a little girl, in a dress. She has an eerie smile on her face. She begins speaking to Frankie. "You should leave, Mommy does not like visitors." She laughs and disappears from Frankie's sight. Frankie walks into the next room to catch his breath. Then he looks up to see a beautiful blonde haired woman staring back at him. Frankie smiles and moves forward. The woman drops her gown from one of her shoulders, showing her skin. Frankie likes where this is heading and moves forward. But to Frankie's horror the womans face becomes old and skeleton like as an cleaver appears in her hand. Frankies scream echoes throughout the house.

Shit! Tethis throws her roach down and jumps up after getting a look at the clock. She was supposed to meet Frankie_Vizzini at a place downtown for a job. Fifteen minutes ago! She shifts her car into drive and peels off down the road, pulling up to the house about ten minutes later. She sees his car is here, but she can't spot him anywhere. Grabbing her ski mask and gloves from the passenger seat, she gets out, heading over to Frankie's car. When she gets about halfway there, a blood curdling scream rings through the air, jerking her head towards the house. That sounded like Frankie!

She bolts towards the house, jumping over sticks and bushes along the way. When she gets to the front door she twists the handle, turning it as hard as she can, but it doesn't give. Letting out a growl of exasperation, she moves to the bay window, tucking her head in before throwing her shoulder into the glass. She crawls over the windowsill, wincing as a shard of glass cuts her hand. Once clear of the glass, she runs through the living room, staircases to the right catching her eye. She scales the stairs, stopping for just a second to take a breath at the second floor landing. She calls out, "Frankie!" Hearing movement from the next room, she pulls herself forward, calling out again as she draws nearer.

She finds Frankie standing in the middle of the room, his back to her as he faces the window, his body stiff and shaking. Walking up to him, she places a hand on his shoulder, causing his head to nearly hit the ceiling. She grabs him by the shoulders and turns him around to face her.

"Frankie, it's me! It's ok, it's me!"  She looks up at him, her brow furrowing. "What happened?"

Frankie looks at Tethis, with a dead over glaze in his eyes. "But she was right here." Frankie looks around the room, with the realization he is once again alone. Frankie tries to shake off his feeling and knows they need to get out of there. "Listen, this place is not like it seems. it is evil and it wants to hurt us." Before Frankie can even finish his sentence, the whole house begins to shake violently. Then every single light begins to shatter, leaving them in the dark.

Frankie knows it is too late. The lights turn on for a second to see the undead woman from before scream and disappear from our eyes. Frankie then is turned and thrown to the ground. Frankie looks at Tethis for a moment before he is dragged by his feet down the hallway. The door slams shut to the room, leaving Tethis inside. The legend goes that Frankie's manly screams can be heard for blocks. Frankie opens his eyes once again to see himself in the backyard once again. Then Frankie eyes widen when he see's some abomination which he has never seen, digging a grave. With some close examination the grave reads:

Here Lies Frankie_Vizzini

Frankie begins to realize what kind of shit show he is in. He needs to get out of here, like yesterday. Frankie begins to come up with an excuse to tell this behemoth which is trying to put him six feet under. So Frankie throws on the charm. "Now look here big guy, I know you have a job to do and all. But this is nothing worth killing over. I can just leave, hell you can have that woman in there if you want. Nobody will ever believe me even if I tried to tell anyone. The behemoth stops shoveling, throwing the shovel to it's side. The man walks over and grabs Frankie by his legs. carrying him over to the grave. Frankie drops a small prayer, even though this is the second time he has ever prayed before.

Frankie out of pure desperation kicks the behemoth in his jaw, which caused Frankie to drop to the ground. Frankie gets up, sprinting out of the backyard as fast as he can. The maniac throws a large rock, which soars over Frankies head. Frankie jumps over the gate and runs to the street. Frankie looks to the second story window, to Tethis banging on the window for help. Then the room goes pitch black again and Frankie can no longer see where she is. A dilemma hits Frankie should he stay and save his friend, maybe die in the process or leave and pretend nothing happened. Before anything can happen, the man appears with a pissed off look on his face. Frankie begins to sprint down the street if his life depended on it and it did. Frankie manages to get to the car, get inside and start the car. But then the man is right there, staring at him from a few feet away. He moves closer, pushing the car over on its side. Frankie's head hits the ground so hard he is knocked completely unconscious.

Report Post Tip

Tethis watches as Frankie_Vizzini freaks out, not sure what happened, before the house shakes. At first, she thinks it's just an earthquake. She wasn't expecting the lights to go out like that, and she certainly wasn't expecting Frankie to be dragged away. Maybe there's some truth to what he said, with the house being evil. She heads to the door right before it slams in her face. Starting to freak a bit herself, she tries the knob, which doesn't budge. Her heart starts racing as she runs for the window. She looks out, seeing Frankie running towards his car. He's leaving her there, in that house, knowing what's inside?! That bastard! If she gets out of this house alive, he's going to wish she hadn't. Then she spots the behemoth behind him. She starts banging on the window, trying to get the behemoth's attention. Instead, Frankie looks up, giving the monstrosity time to catch up before he bolts again.

At this point, the lights completely shut off, leaving her alone in the dark room. She turns around, trying to see something, anything, but before her eyes adjust she feels something grab her by the wrists, pulling her forward to the ground. The door opens this time, long enough for her to be dragged through the opening, before slamming again. The unseen force yanks her down the stairs, her feet hitting every other step on the way down as her arms feel like they're being pulled from their sockets. For all she knows, they could be. The force doesn't stop at the bottom, pulling her around the corner to another door, which leads to more stairs headed to what she can only assume is the basement. At the bottom, she is released, but only for a moment before what feels like two or three sets of hands grabs her, hauling her to the back of the dank room.

She hears chains rattling against the wall, and the hands lift her up. She struggles against them, but their grip only tightens as she is forced against the wall, her head smacking hard into the cement. Dazed for a moment, the chains wrap around her, and she can feel manacles clamping around her wrists and ankles before everything tightens. One of the chains manages to get around her neck, holding her upright as she fights against them. She tries to let out a scream but it gets cut short as the chain around her neck squeezes tighter, nearly cutting off her air. Her eyes water. This is how she's going to die. Alone, chained up in the basement, held captive by something she can't fight off. She hopes Frankie got away in time.

Frankie_Vizzini wakes up and precedes to cough. Frankie seems out of breath and he is not sure why. But than a horrible realization hits Frankie, as he looks around. He is in a coffin, which means he must has been buried alive. He can hear a distant laugh coming from the behemoth. This situation is almost impossible to get out of, Frankie thinks to himself. Frankie searches through his mind, trying to find a solution to get him out of this alive. Frankie steadies his breathing and begins to claw at the coffin. Frankie was close to losing all hope, before he bites down on his lip and begins to calm down. He cannot waist his air supply on panicking. Frankie uses his shirt, to cover his face from all the dirt. Then Frankie begins to kick the middle of the coffin as hard as he can muster. After a few worthy kicks, the coffin begins to give. Frankie sighs in relief before continuing to kick the coffin. Then Frankie see's a crack form within the coffin, letting some dirt fall within. Frankie begin to move upwards. digging the dirt and moving it to to one side of the coffin. After all this effort. Frankie manages to move one of his hands to the surface. A few seconds later and Frankie emerges from his own grave.

Frankie prays he has to never ever do that again. Frankie wonders how Tethis is doing. Frankie moves at a higher pace, before he makes his way over to the back door. Inside he can see the Behemoth sitting down on the destroyed couch within the living room. What the hell is that thing? Troll? Golem? Giant? Whatever it is, not being seen by it is Frankie's best option. Frankie covertly moves to the basement and begins to attempt to open the door. Damn it, it's locked. He needs a key. But where could it be? He has the Behemoth to worry about, the woman and any other evil entities in this evil house. How is he gonna find it without being spotted?

Frankie moves around the house, searching every room and every crack looking for the key. Then Frankie thinks of the safe he saw in the main room, that would be a safe place to keep it. Making his way back up the stairs and into the room for the second time. As he suspected, the key is in the safe, after Frankie cracks it. Frankie was a safe cracker when he used to run with a group of bank robbers, before he became a mobster. Turning around to see the little girl from before. She laughs and asks. "Wanna play hide and seek?" Frankie knows he has to go along or risk her telling the mother or the Behemoth. "Let's play", Frankie answers.

Tethis hears shuffling coming from upstairs, then laughter, a girl's voice, and a man's voice. It sounds like Frankie_Vizzini again. What the hell is he doing back here? He should have called for backup. There's no way he can get her out by himself, not with everything running around this creepy house. She can't even call out to him, feeling like she might pass out from the lack of air. Her vision is already getting blurry, but she tries to shake it off. She has to stay awake. The chains bite into her skin. That's good, she can focus on the pain to stay conscious. But how long can that last?

The hands are no longer holding her, but she can feel something in the room, some kind of presence. She can't tell if it's the same one that brought her down here or something completely different. All she knows is that it isn't there to help her. She tries to call out to Frankie, but no sound comes from her lips, only a soft whine from her throat. Feeling so helpless, she desperately pulls at the chains again, to no avail. She can't fight back the tears that stream down her face. Her heart feels like it wants to burst through her chest, and her lungs burn with every breath she tries to take.

What little she can see of the room starts to fade as her vision darkens. She wonders what's happening upstairs, wishing she could yell to Frankie, to tell him to get out. She knows he can't get to her in time, but he might have a chance to save himself. If he can get out, at least he would be able to come back later to burn the place to the ground and avenge her. Her head feels heavy, and she can't keep her stinging eyes open any longer. Her fight to stay awake is lost as she drifts off into quiet darkness, lulled to unconsciousness by the faint sound of a little girl's laughter.

Frankie followed the little girl through the house. Since she was leading me, the Behemoth ignored me and the mother seemed to be out of sight for now. She brings me to the backyard, to the swing set and then tells me that she is going to be trying to find me. BUT if she catches me, she will turn me into one of her playthings forever. Frankie gulps loudly before shaking his head in agreement, even though he did not have much of a choice at this time. She disappears from sight and Frankie sprints to what he thinks is a good hiding spot. Frankie decides to hide in the shack, behind some tools which should block him from being seen. Frankie hopes he made a good decision with the spot because he needs to win, bring the key back open the basement door, free Tethis and get the hell out of here.

Then Frankie hears the footsteps from the little girl outside, she is giggling as she goes around looking for him. Then a deep unnatural tone appears as she looks behind the shed. "You better not let me catch you, Frankie. Or say goodbye forever." What the fuck was that? Frankie thought to himself as he sits in the corner of the shack. But then to Frankie's horror, the shack door flies off its hinges and crashes to the floor. Walking through is the woman from before. Does this mean the little girl was the mother the whole time and this was a trap? Frankie decides not to get into it and waits for his inevitable doom. But then she turns around, after giving the shack a good look through and disappears. She must of went back into the house. This is his opportunity. Frankie gets up and begins moving from the backyard and back into the house. Moving to check the living room, nobody is there. Good, the behemoth went off to do other things. Making his way down to the basement and beginning to put the key in the lock, an approaching shadow appears. Shit, there is no way for him to hide in a hallway. Maybe she won't see him down here? Moving down the stairs comes the mother, crawling on the wall and ceiling. Her body twitches and moves unnaturally while moving to the ceiling. "I SEE YOU FRANKIE! TIME TO DIE." Frankie begins to panic and somehow opens the door, falling down the stairs to the basement.

Frankie sees Tethis chained to the wall, in some contraption coming from hell itself. No time to admire the view, Frankie thinks to himself as he moves closer. "It's me, Frankie. Are you okay?" Frankie then turns around to see the mother, making her way down the creaking stairs. She then sprints at Frankie but before she can get to him, he sprints around a table and to the other side dodging her. Mother laughs before fazing through the table and appearing inches from Frankie's face. "I caught you, time to die!" She reaches up with her long fingernails and Frankie closes his eyes, waiting for his death. Frankie then finds a cross on the adjacent table and brings it to the mother's face. She screams in horror as the cross melts her face and she disappears from view. Frankie then shouts "That worked. Oh my god, that worked!" Frankie then decides to move over to Tethis and see if he can save her. Fumbling through the complex mechanism, Frankie manages to free her. "Sorry, it took so long. I had to find a key and then play a fucked up version of hide and seek, it was a whole thing. Now let's get out of here, please."

Tethis falls to the hard floor as the chains release her, coughing and gasping for air. Her body shakes, and she takes a moment to compose herself before pulling herself to her feet. She grabs Frankie_Vizzini to steady herself as her legs decide they don't want to work properly while the room slowly stops spinning around her. She doesn't have time to recover, beginning to remember where they are. When reality sinks in, her eyes widen as she searches the room, tightly holding Frankie's arm.

"What the fuck! What was that?" She looks up at him and realizes how she got out of the chains. "You came back..." That's right, she remembers hearing him upstairs with a little girl. She gently pushes against his arm. "You should have gotten away. You should have..." A wave of dizziness washes over her and her grip tightens on his arm, the only thing that stops her from hitting the ground again. She shakes her head. "We have to get out of here."

She walks towards the stairs, still holding Frankie's arm. Halfway across the room, the basement shakes, harder than it did when they were upstairs. The dangling light-bulb swings back and forth before smashing into the ceiling, showering them in glass and sparks then leaving them in the darkness once more.

Report Post Tip

Frankie felt like an action hero as he stood and felt Tethis grab onto his muscular forearm. "Now don't you worry we are about to get out of here." As soon as Frankie ends his sentence the lights of the whole building flicker before shattering and leaving them both in total darkness. Frankie lets out a long sigh "Cmon give me a break." Frankie moves slowly through the basement, grasping onto the wall so he does not fall to the ground below him. Frankie finds his gun on one of the shelves, what a lucky break. The tricky part was not over, as Franke ran into the first step. Slowly and methodically they began to climb the stairs, one step after the other. But before they can get up completely, the sound of the door opens and Frankie feels a meaty arm grabbing him, throwing him through the door. Frankie slams to the ground and he looks around, still in complete darkness.

Frankie hears the familiar voice of the Behemoth from before. "Where are you going piggie?" Frankie screams as two fists slam into his back. He finds his recovered pistol in his pocket and fires in the direction where the fists came from. A big thud is heard when the Behemoth falls to the ground. Hopefully, that killed him but Frankie is very doubtful. Getting up and moving towards the basement stairs again. He quickly grabs Tethis and they both bounce off walls till they go through the front door. An approaching truck comes and Frankie runs, trying to wave it over. Thankfully the truck stops and they both manage to hitch a ride to a street doctor they know in the local area. They are dropped off after a five-minute drive.

Standing in front of them is a run-down building in the middle of nowhere. Frankie carries Tethis, as he goes over to a boarded up door. Frankie knocks and screams. "It's Frankie let us in. My friend is dying!" A side door opens and an elderly gentleman appears in a lab coat. "Come in before you awaken the neighbors." Frankie nods his head in agreement and follows the doctor inside. He agrees to patch her up and Frankie pays the man a fee for his services. Frankie lies down on a chair and relaxes. What a day!
