Solomon felt it as he sped into a local market, his eyes narrowed looking at each of the people with loathing in his black eyes. He bowed his head, willing himself to stop as he walked the streets, noticing how few people looked at his gear and the symbol on his chest weirdly. 

"Sir, Sir!"

Solomon turned around, looking at the man who greatly resembled Barthomlew Allen, this man right here could be his ancestor. Zoom knew that he could end the Allen line right here, nothing could stop him, only he waited. He needed proof, this was hardly anything but his fantasies coming to life of ending the one man that would one day defeat him. 

"Yes?" Solomon answered with a drawl that could pass for being interested. 

The man in question shirked away from this predator a little, finding the way this man was looking disconcerting. It was not a friendly smile, almost like he had found something that he had longed for and not in a good way. Harrison Allen reached across his stand, giving Solomon a paper.

"Here sir, we give free newspapers out on certain news pieces. We are doing a front-page preview on the war between the Eldians and the Foundation, it seems like its coming to an end soon."

Solomon eyed the man once again, causing the said man to back away and head back to his stall. Hunter walked away, sitting down on a nearby bench and reading the news, even this Peralta's death had hit the papers in a matter of moments, this was interesting. The man in this photo, he had seen him somewhere before and it was not in this time...who was he?

He finished reading, placing the newspaper back with the Stall owner who did not spare a second glance towards him. 

Only Solomon then felt it, the speed force, the air changed and all around him, he felt time slow as he saw two speedsters fighting against one another. Their moves were brilliant, they were clearly experienced but they had been fighting for a while, yet he saw it, the Black Flash, a true demon of speed, placing his cowl on, Solomon got into his stance. 

With not another word, he sped towards the commotion and dragged the two speedsters out of harm's way with the city civilians. This was, it had never been foreseen that such a battle could take place...it was truly spectacular as Godspeed and Black Flash turned their attention onto Solomon.

"Oh, you both want some of this? Fine....keep up!"

Blue lightning followed after Solomon as streaks of yellow and red followed him too, this was, it was something out of this world. Neither were paying attention to each other, they were focused on the newest speedster, it was rather interesting. 

Hunter vibrated himself before pulling top a stop, turning around and facing his opponents who continued to watch him, neither of them said anything but their hostile intentions were clear. 

"August, Black Flash, I've heard things, are you ready or do you need to hold each other's hands!?"

Zoom growled, speeding forward and punching Black Flash before vibrating his hand, wishing to put an end to this foul creation of the speed force. Only he had been stopped when Godspeed pulled him back, flashing in front of him and delivering speed punches to his chest...this was going to be troublesome.

"I thought you were the speed demon, why don't you show us what you can really do, Solomon!"

"Gladly." Hunter drawled before he felt his body connect with the frequency of this earth, he knew then that he had been restored with his full power. 

Zoom drew in a breath as he felt his body tense under the amount of lighting he was channeling, he sped off, his eyes glowing with the power of the speed force and he delivered his own speed punches to Solomon before gripping his upper body, throwing him into the air and dropping him on his knee back first, surely leaving him out of commission for a good while.

Solomon turned back to Black Flash only to find the demonic incarnation of himself with his hand vibrating in his chest...Hunter felt the life draining from him before punching Black Flash, sending him flying as he dropped to his knees...the last thing he saw was the fading sunset...

Zoom was not in the best of sorts, his chest killed him but that meant one thing, he was either in the speed force being tortured by that Black Flash or...he was alive somewhere and possibly being treated, oddly enough, he found that it was the latter and before him were two doctors...or rather, one doctor and an immature nerd by the looks of it. 

"Oh, you're awake, it's great to have you here Hunter Solomon. My name is Doctor Caitlin Snow, this is Cisco Ramone. You are currently in S.T.A.R Labs."

Solomon was freaking out, Caitin!? He remembered her, the woman that he had played when he wanted to get intel on Team Flash, now here she was in this world..by the looks of it, neither of them was of his world...what were they doing here, right now? This was just too much and he suddenly felt faint knowing that Barry Allen had to be here somewhere. 

"Wait! Wait! What's going on, where is Barry Allen?" Hunter asked with a small growl, still keeping up his rather brave front, no matter the pain he felt in his chest. 

"Barry Allen is one of our leading scientists here, he is currently working with Iris West on how you arrived here sir, we predict that it might have something to do with the storm about two days ago," Caitlin started with a matter-of-fact tone that Solomon loved. For a moment, he forgot everything that he had done to the team, remembering when he got close to them. 

Zoom knew that this was not going to be good for him, this was something that he could not predict and wished to stop from happening now. Only this was now the timeline, it seemed that Allen was not The Flash and was a scientist with S.T.A.R Labs, this was interesting. Someone had to be The Flash, someone had to be the one to take down The Black Flash and Godspeed!

"That's interesting, have any of you heard of Eobard Thawne? The Reverse-Flash."

Caitlin's lips had thinned, while Cisco had stopped eating his cereal and now they both watched Solomon with narrowed eyes. This was expected, Solomon knew that Eobard had done some bad things but had he repeated them in this world as well? It seemed that he had not met the Flash yet, so what was up with the sudden hostility? 

"Mr. Solomon, Eobard Thawne is one of the more neutral speedsters in our timeline. He's known as the Reverse-Flash because he does the opposite of what the real flash is meant to be doing as you well know, hence the name. Now we picked you up just outside the city of Detroit, our team was conducting some research when we found a connection to the speed force...you."

Here he was, Barry Allen, leader of Team Flash, a founding member of the Justice League and now a scientist in this world it seemed. Solomon would take some time to get used to this. It was not every day that one met their rival of a lifetime. 

"Barry Allen, I assumed you would be busy as your colleagues said. Would you mind explaining as to how you found me, you would need a speedster to help you out in that situation."

Barry Allen smiled for a single moment before it turned into an uncomfortable one that had Zoom nearly using his drained speedster energy to run.

"Wally West, our world's flash reported it back to us and is currently fighting Godspeed, as well as Black Flash, this is a matter that we never expected. Godspeed is one problem, Black Flash is another..."

Solomon tilted his head to the side as he noted the obvious and very clear lie. They didn't trust him yet, he had gathered enough info from Thawne to learn that Wally West was no longer on this earth or of no consequence, that meant someone else had speed and was currently taking up the mantle of being the fastest man alive. 

"Hm, and what is it that I should be doing with you? I've just come into contact with this earth, I barely know anything.-"

He was cut off as Barry raised his hand with an easygoing smile. 

"Rest up and we will talk Mr. Solomon but please, know that we are on your side here. You have the support of S.T.A.R Labs, we hope we have yours."

It was easy to guess what Barry was really saying just then, he wanted another Speedster to help with the Black Flash problem, someone who knew him. He bowed his head, leaning back as for Caitlin to continue the tests as he thought over their reactions. Just what was this world and who could he trust?

He didn't know but for now, he would do what he has always done...rely on himself!

Hunter Solomon was not someone that liked to be in the mercy of others but he could tell when certain things off. Now here he was in S.T.A.R Labs, he was the patient and now before him he had tests, even a urine sample was needed for some reason. Zoom would have decided that he wanted to hunt down the Black Flash but considering the news of the Flash being in this world, something that still bothered him. 

By all accounts which were all of one, by Eobard Thawne, Wally West did not exist in this world or had yet to arrive here. So something was not sitting right with the speed-demon and he was not trusting these people, ironic considering what he had done in the former timeline but either way, this was not going to be one of the moments where he started to feel sorry for what he had done. This was for the best and he knew it. 

"Hunter, I know you are feeling a bit odd about how the way this world works but Eobard Thawne is not the type of man that you can trust in this world. He's someone that manipulates people, using their emotional state and need of knowledge to stay one step ahead of his rivals."

Solomon turned, facing Barry Allen and he could feel the speed force in the man, should he come right out and confront the man? No..he wouldn't, he knew that this was being done for a reason...had they already faced the 'Zoom' of the 1940s? He doubted that maybe they had but they would not trust him like this otherwise...he was something of a different person to the speedsters.

"Hm, you act as if this is from experience Mr. Allen, I find it odd. The Flash, Wally West, he's one of the greater speedsters so I've heard from Thawne, someone to watch out for. How he killed people and became known as the savior of Central City, now that is an anti-hero, someone who is going to do anything and everything in the pursuit of justice."

Barry narrowed his eyes on Solomon, he had heard someone say that before and wondered if this very person had spoken with Solomon, Savitar was not the greatest or well-adjusted of the speedsters but his words held a lot of influence, it seemed like Zoom was picking that up and now that worried him because he wanted to give this speedster a shot, unlike the rest of his team.

"That sounds like Savitar, have you met the man before? He was once an enemy of The Flash, a time remnant and now he's become one of the patrollers of time, he has since turned over a new leaf. He has become someone of the better forces, I find it a great story, someone who endures so much and comes out better is one of the true-life stories that some movies get right."

Solomon was already picking this up and he knew that Savitar was before his time. So they had to have faced off with a Zoom of this world, only who? It was before the time that Eobard had even come here, they were talking about a different Reverse-Flash, this timeline was different and they had changed its course...

"No I have not but I'll be happy to find him and have some good tea with some, maybe we could talk about some things, like The Flash and his growing abilities to conceal who he is. I've never seen Wally West, he seems like...well a good partner to have in the field."

Zoom smiled before turning his head away, hearing a beeping in the distance, the sound was an alarm, sounding out all over the facility. Things were getting interesting now...

"Tower I-X To Base! Tower I-X To Base! Godspeed is going after the Mayor! I repeat! Godspeed is going after the Mayor!"

Barry narrowed his eyes, his skin itching as he knew that he could do nothing with Solomon here, he turned to look at the Speed-Demon who looked back at him with a smirk in place...

"Are you willing to stop him?"

Zomm's eyebrow curiously, he wondered where the Flash was, in truth, he did not. Solomon knew where he was, right in front of him.

"I'm willing but when I get back, we will have a talk!"

Zoom sped out of S.T.A.R Labs and was already prepared to face Godspeed again, this time, there would be no interruptions!

"What is it like to be a god of speed? I'll never know but as I watch you now, I know that I am better than you in every way and nothing will stop me from taking your speed! Nothing is stopping me from my ascendancy!" - Hunter Solomon to August Hearts, Frequency

Zoom sped into a nearby alleyway, watching the mayor's stop at a traffic light as waves of lighting surrounded him and his men, it was clear that Godspeed was just toying with these guys. Zoom already saw that he could beat these guys with one arm tied behind his back, it was a rather interesting approach, one that he wanted to try out but for now, he let the man be and knew that he needed to watch for now...he could learn more about Godspeed this way. 

"What are you doing Solomon, he's attacking the mayor, get on him! Stop him!"

There he was again, Barry Allen, how annoying the pest, there was a thought in his mind, this might just be a test. It was something that he did not wish to like but he thought himself wrong for doing this, The Flash, whether it be Jay Garrick, Wally West or even Barry Allen, no one was going to play the Speed Demon! No one!

"I'm doing what I need to Allen, if I am not fitting the criteria, why not call Wally West? Bring him in and we can see the fastest man alive!"

Solomon tuned out Barry and focused on Godspeed, it was here that he noticed the two speedsters, both wearing the gear of Godspeed, well this was certainly an interesting development. Having enough, Zoom sped forward, his cowl fully on as he approached the speedsters...

"Well, Godspeed, I would say that this is a pleasure only I would be lying. What are you doing here? After I taught you a lesson, I'd think that you would wish to recover and here I see you...acting as if nothing happened."

The Speedsters did not react, only rushing forward and attacking Zoom, this was where things got a bit dicey as Zoom dodged both of them, fighting both of them, using their own moves against one another.

Zoom noticed how the two seemed to become strained, as if the five minutes they had been fighting tired the speedsters, this was only interesting for a single moment before something else happened...another Godspeed appeared.

"Zoom, how nice of you to make an appearance and to keep my clones alive...someone is working with The Flash. Barry Allen, I know you're here, somewhere!  Now listen, this right here is not the Hunter Solomon you know, he's from another earth, another time. What's to say that he won't try the same thing again? You have a duty to the speed force and fellow speedsters to put a stop to him! C'mon flash! Show yourself!"

Nobody came, Solomon could no longer hear anything through the provided comms and he knew that Barry had cut it off or there was a reason that he had. 

This was something that he expected, Barry and his team had never trust him, it now gave him the freedom needed. 

This was now the moment he needed and knew that this was the moment to decide his fate in this world, with a deep guttural growl, he flashed his own Speed, it flowed around him before he rushed Godspeed tackling him tot he ground.

"Time to killed, so-called God of Speed!"

Vibrating his hand, Zoom came so close to killing August before he was tackled off of him by The Flash, the scarlet speedster! This was not what he needed, he could see the hate in his eyes. It was almost a bit too nice, this was something that he rather enjoyed, knowing that he had a little bit of the Barry Allen's trust, maybe he could earn it back! Use him further, to see what was different about this world!

"Scarlet Speedster, you've finally shown yourself....are you ready to lose?"

Barry gave no answer except speeding towards Zoom, delivering his own fury of punches that were dodged by the speed demon who in return smirked before imbuing his fists with energy from the speed force and punched Allen multiple times in the body, sending him flying away. Zoom was not done as he sped forward, and kicked Allen for good measure, leaving him out of the fight...for now. 

"Now August, just what do we do about you?"

Zoom stared down at Godspeed, the man's power being added to his own was an ability that was pretty rare. It was one that he would find in good use, he sped away, taking Godspeed with him, leaving Barry Allen to writhe in pain for now...

The Speed Demon had won.

"This is a rather interesting lair you have here Zoom, in the middle of bloody nowhere, no one ever searches here....literally."

Zoom chuckled, sitting down on the ground as he watched Godspeed, the very speedster that had been against was now a bit wary in attacking him again. This was something that he could use to press his advantage, he had to get him on his side. Just what could he offer the so-called God of Speed?

"Not true, I have yet to establish a power base in this world, once I do, I'll get to my true work. For now, I believe that we can help one another. This war of speedsters is going to happen sooner than you think, Barry Allen, now that he knows that I am from another world, thanks for that by the way."

Zoom chuckled before continuing on with his speech. 

"Now that he knows, things will change. The Speed Force will seek us out, possibly bringing more speedsters of both good, neutral, and bad to this world. For now, it's only me, Eobard, you, Black Flash, and Allen. Out of all those people that I feel threatened of is The Black Flash. He is me from another earth and that means, I am dangerous enough to be useful to the speed force. I would be a servant."

Godspeed sighed, already knowing that, wondering where Zoom was going with this. It was not all the time that people had him at their mercy but this Zoom, the one before him, was scary. It was clear that he was not adjusted to this world's frequency but could easily adjust himself, he was dangerous in the fact that he was not even at full power yet. 

"So, what do you want from me? Why not find Thawne? Wait, do you even know where he is?"

August watched Hunter with his eyes narrowed, following the blue lightning's speedster every move. He did not know where the Reverse-Flash was, that was a problem, something that even August recognized.

"Oh boy, that's just lovely! Eobard Thawne, no matter what version of him he is now, is a dangerous foe. He is someone that understands the speed force better than Savitar, better than me! Leaps ahead of The Flash himself, no one has been able to give him a true run for his money."

Hunter chuckled before allowing his speed force energy to gather once again in his body as waves of lighting, yellow and blue...showing off his speed energy. He looked at August with narrowed eyes, they were black but still, it felt as if he was staring down at a servant more than an actual speedster.

"Eobard Thawne does not know what I can do, he brought me to this world for a reason. I brought you to me for a reason! We are going to become the world's most dangerous speedsters. First, I need you to locate Harrison Wells and the Tess Morgan of this world. It's time we had a little bit of an accident in Detroit."

August looked put out at taken orders once again but knowing better than to argue, sped away in his search. Deep in his mind, he wondered what had just happened, was he serving the Speed Force or a God?

Zoom bowed his head, releasing a breath as he watched August leave, now he could only hold that form for a while before he felt the effects of gathering his energy. Now here he was, down on one knee and once again, his hand vibrating uncontrollably, he had yet to get used to this world's frequency but knew that if he could mimic or redo the particle accelerator explosion, it would be better than what he was doing now.

He knew what his goals were in this world and he would see them through, with every battle that he had, he was one step closer. Even here with Godspeed, he had the former feared man cowering in his presence, his ability was nice but it clearly left him severely weakened using one and two was pushing his limit. It was rather interesting but not enough for him to crave it...he would settle for having the speedster in his collective. 

"Hunter Solomon, I see you've been busy. Once again, your body has not adjusted to the frequency, I have no doubt that it will soon and when it does, we will all be in trouble."

Hunter turned his head and found himself staring down Eobard Thawne, it seems like he was being watched from a distance. He would have to deal with the pesky little fool eventually, for now, he would have him believe that he was in his debt for bringing him here.

"How did you adjust? Look at you, not a trouble in the world using your speed and you're feared to these people, men that don't know anything. The greatest adversary that went against the flash, I find it rather annoying but what can I do? Except bide my time as my body adjusts."

Eobard smirked but not about Zoom, he believed that all he could do was wait? No no, he could do much more than that, all he had to do was to see and believe. Luckily Eobard was here to show him that he could do much more, hoping to eventually bring his end goal in mind for the future of what he was planning.

"Gain the trust of Team Flash again become their ally, be their truest friend. Allow them to believe that you are no longer like your other counterparts, that you've changed and wish to help them save Detroit, whilst allowing them to help your body become in-sync with this earth,"

Zoom smirked as he turned away from Eobard, he was smart enough to realize the buddying words of the Reverse-Flash was that of a mentor. 

"I doubt they would trust me, I killed the God of Speed, August Heart is of no issue anymore and I have since absorbed his speed into my own. He gave it up once he believed that I would kill him, yet he did not know what I truly plan to do. I aim to become someone of fear in this world, I am not going to be a man in the shadows Eobard."

Oh, how easy it was to lie, informing Thawne that August was really alive and working for him was not apart of the plans. Having the speedster believe that he was a murderer, willing to do anything for the sake of speed was.

 He wanted someone malleable that would hang on to his every word, this was the way and Zoom was not going to pass this up, he knew exactly the type of person that Thawne was. Hunter knew that Thawne wished to be the one that ended the Flash, he was willing to use whatever resources he wished and if he made himself a resource, he could become a trusted member of Thawne's inner circle. 

"Well, that's unfortunate but not all too bad. Follow me and I can give you an assignment, one that pertains to you becoming a much more different speedster altogether, that gets you in sync with this world. Are you willing to trust me, Solomon?"

Zoom wanted to say no, how this seemed to easy but he knew Thawne was never one to make things easy. There was always a catch, he bowed his head submissively. Getting into his role, as he knew this is what Thawne craved. He never wished for anyone to be strong with him, he wanted obedience and this was it.

"I am willing, Thawne."

"My name is Hunter Solomon and I am a Metahuman known as Zoom. One day, I was to be taken by time wraiths and become something known as The Black Flash, a servant of the Speed Force. Only, the Eobard Thawne of new earth had pulled me out just in time and brought me to the 1940s. Where I will establish a new name, a new dynasty and become the greatest speedster alive!" - Hunter's Biography into his journey...

Zoom sat up from his bed, he knew where he was, the labs of Eobard Thawne. Not surprisingly, they were in Detroit, this was rather a bit difficult but he adjusted well. The last he heard, Team Flash was dealing with a Speedster by the name of Gateway, a rare ability to open breaches and transport to new worlds. 

Now usually, Eobard would care about this but he did not send Zoom on this case. He sent one of his own duplicates, splitting himself into two and allowing Reverse-Flash 2 to handle him. This is where Eobard had kept Zoom, for now, knowing that he would do no good on the field. He wanted him to learn about this earth's frequency, how it changed with their arrival each time. 

"So, you're awake. Good, Gateway has been captured by Team Flash. He's in their pipeline, something that my duplicate just learned and I immediately recalled him back. We've lost a powerful resource that we could have used to gain powers of unknown standards but I don't like the unknown, it's rather difficult to predict."

Zoom watched blankly, staring up at his leader and noticed how he seemed to be staring into the distance, obviously thinking about something. Only this was where he noticed the glint in Eobard's eyes, something that always led to the man having an idea that promised power, mainly for himself. 

"I assume that you've heard of Harrison Wells on your earth. He's going to create a little something called the particle accelerator that gives us all some speed, I am assuming you on your earth but this, well it becomes a bit different and we all became speedsters. Especially Victor Drummond, the man who comes to known as Gateway, who currently resides in this world as a manager of a local law firm."

Zoom knew where this was going, he growled, hoping that August had done his job so he could do whatever Thawne wanted and begin his own double agent path. He needed Thawne on his side for now but he also needed the doctor, whatever this was, it was going to be rather interesting. 

"What do you want me to do? Do you want me to create the particle accelerator?"

Eobard laughed before sobering up with a soft smile that did not seem to fit his features. It was rather eerie seeing the man who killed Nora Allen smile like that but Zoom didn't voice his thoughts, instead, he waited for an answer. 

"No, I want you to kidnap Dr. Wells and Tess Morgan, bring him here. I want him to work on it, I have all the tools necessary, we're going to introduce this world to Metahumans bigger than the Flash!"

Zoom sighed before Thawne walked out with a joyful chuckle, clearly, he believed this was going to work. Now Zoom had a couple of choices, he could either be going along with what Wells wanted, creating metahumans in this world or he could allow Godspeed to collect the research, kill Harrison and then grab Gateway from the pipeline. He had a choice here, one that could make or break his plans in an instant...

"Time to get to work."

Zoom was currently casing the home of Harrison Wells, he found the man to be a bit different from his Earth 9.5 counterpart. He had a family and this was rather interesting, he had already met with Godspeed, getting the information needed, now Wells needed to die. This was going to be easy, only he knew that he had to make this different and all too soon, rain descended upon Detroit...

Hunter pulled up his cowl and looked dead at the house of the Wells Family. They had all that they needed, all he needed to do was beat the Flash and become a member of Thawne's inner circle by securing Gateway. Sighing to himself, Zoom sped across in record time of under 1 second and sped around in circles before bursting into the Wells Family Household, it was here that he found himself in a bit of a pickle. 

Here stood Barry Allen, talking to Wells like friends. Now, this was interesting because Barry was not wearing his Flash suit, would he reveal himself to Wells or did the doctor already know?

"Harrison Wells, on the orders of the Speed Force, it's time for you to meet your end!"

And this is where his gamble paid off, immediately Godspeed had used his speed and took Wells out of the house, essentially removing from the premises. Did they really think he was alone? Only Barry stood there, shocked and watched Zoom, knowing that he was not done here as his gaze turned onto Tess Morgan and Jesse Wells. 

"Stand aside weakling, the matters of the speed force are not meant for men such as yourself!"

Oh, Hunter was enjoying this, he knew that Barry had to reveal himself or be thrown out of here like a ragdoll. They both knew that he was not here on the orders of the Speed Force, only Zoom did not anticipate this reaction on the part of Barry as immediately, he sped over, attacking him and putting on his Flash suit, the battle of Speedsters had begun!

Zoom chuckled before delivering a devastating right hook to Barry's side and tossing him into the wall of the house. Breaking him right through, gathering his energy, he sped over to Tess Morgan, vibrating his hand and ramming it through her chest, killing her in a matter of moments. 

"You failed Allen, now watch his daughter die!"

Zoom tried to go for Jesse only for her to speed away from him, he growled, already realizing who this was...Jesse Quick. Oh now, this was interesting as Solomon chuckled, removing his cowl and showing his face to the Speedster. She gasped at him, recognizing him as the Zoom of her eath, he was here?

"Jesse Quick, just how did you get here? Eobard will be pleased to have you in his collection, you'll be coming with us, one way or another!"

The Flash sped in front of Jesse protectively, causing Solomon to roll his eyes at the idiocy, He had lost one time and now he was coming back for more? It seems Heros had these odd moments of forgetting the Fight or Flight scenario, they obviously needed to get readjusted with it. 

"She's not going anywhere with you Solomon...you know, there was a Zoom on this earth already...he died in a war against a Mobster. Just what do you think will happen to you on this earth, you think you will become a god? Really?"

Hunter filed that away for later, so there had been Zoom's on this earth, that was rather interesting. He decided to not think about it, instead, craning his neck to the side with a growl. 

"If you've had enough of gossiping like a schoolgirl Allen, why not shut up and fight? I'm pretty sure Godspeed is ready to kill Wells by now, he's no longer needed...a man once said, the timeline is malleable and to me, it most definitely is. This is the time of Speedsters, we'll be doing what we want."

Zoom chuckled before Allen growled, already knowing who filled Zoom's head with such filth. The man who killed his mother, Eobard Thawne. A man that would pay for what he did, no matter how neutral he was.

The Flash having enough, sped to Zoom and flung him outside the house, speeding after him, leaving a trail of Blue and Yellow lightning behind them.

The Battle of Speedsters had begun...

The Flash and Zoom...a fight that had happened on multiple other earths and had ended in many different ways but there was something else. This fight...in the 1940s, well it was a fight that was never supposed to happen, a fight that had for all intents of purposes, changed the timeline forever...

Zoom chuckled deeply, never believing that Barry had the strength in him and here he was, tossing him out of the house like a goddamn guardian angel. It was rather annoying, something that he did not foresee. The Flash had come to play and this was not expected because he did not believe Barry to hold some kind of feelings for Jesse Quick. 

"So be it...Come on, just show us how good you are with the speed force!!"

Dashing forward, delivering punches and a wide array of kicks, Solomon decked Barry. He picked him up by the neck and dragged him across the gravel before running at full speed with Barry in his grip. He dashed him into a rock, clearly breaking something but not clear as to what was broken. 

Zoom not waiting or give him any more words that might trip him up, decided to continue his assault on the flash. Hunter knew this was going to be a good fight but this was starting to become a bit repetitive, he knew something or someone was going to come to save Allen, it always happened and it happened in the form of Jesse Quick, the novice speedster.

"Do you really believe you can match up to my power? I will rule this earth, it is my goal as the greatest speedster alive! If you want to step into my path of destruction, do so but know that you will die!"

Jesse grinned, not giving any retort and instead resorted to using her fists as she punched Zoom multiple times, only to freeze when she felt the air shift and the speed force in her almost slow down...as if reacting to the presence of another...

She looked across and noticed that Zoom was not even slowing down, actually it seemed like he was speeding up, was this some kind of ability he had within the Speed force? Could he slow time? Even speedsters themselves!?

She had gotten her answer when he punched her multiple times in quick succession, barely escaping as Barry had stood up, defending her once again as she was most definitely out for the count. 

"Zoom! It's me that you've wanted to fight all this time, you have your chance! Fight me, prove that you're a god. You boast that you are one, prove what you really are, a coward!"

Chuckling to himself, Hunter decided to humor Barry and sped after him, only to receive multiple punches in quick succession, almost in the same fashion that he had done this to Jesse Quick in. This was something else, Barry seemed to tap into the speed force of this earth, something that he had yet to do...

Growling, Zoom tried to tap into the speed force and in return, he had gotten a sharp shock to his system that seemed to warn him...He was not ready yet. Hunter sped in front of Barry, deciding to end this, he punched Barry one time across the face, another punch to his stomach and one time to his side. 

He grappled Barry and threw him into the ground, only to end up on the ground himself as Barry using his momentum had gained the upper hand, now standing above Zoom and deliver quick punches. 

"You're going to lose! You have no place in this world, you never have! You're a parasite, you are nothing more than a disease that deserves to be wiped out!"
 
Zoom decided that this was it, Barry was going to kill him, only he was not going down today, not like this. Vibrating his hand, Hunter shot it through Barry's shin, seemingly shattering the bone with an audible crack!

"Not today Allen, not today..."

Zoom stood up and grabbed Allen by the throat with a growl before lifting him up and slamming him back down on the ground with a dark chuckle. This was the battle of speedsters, it ended but it was clear....this was far from over.

Zoom sped away from the scene and wanting to catch up with Godspeed before the attack on S.T.A.R Labs, they needed Gateway, otherwise, their plan failed.
 
'A Great fight Flash but not enough...'
 

Zoom had made it back to Godspeed and Harrison Wells, with Wells tied up and Godspeed standing by like a soldier. This was a rather interesting scene but not one that was unexpected, he nodded to Godspeed, sending him on his way so that he could begin the attack on S.T.A.R Labs.

"Harrison Wells, I would say that this is a pleasure but we've met before and that was a rather murderous conversation. Tell me, how did your daughter become a speedster?"

Wells smirked, already noticing how Zoom seemed interested in his daughter. He could not exactly tell him, no, that was not going to be good. He decided to keep silent. 

Hunter nodded at the approach with a smirk, it crawled upon his face before settling with an easygoing smile. 

"Yes, that would be the tactic used by you, a man that does not wish to give up his secrets is a man that has something important in his arsenal. Like he is from another Earth, that would be interesting and something that I would like to find out. Unless you wish your daughter to meet the fate of your wife, you would tell me, now!"

It was here that Wells' face crumbled, the words of his wife being dead hitting him like a ton of bricks as he glared up at Hunter with a fire underneath those eyes of his. Zoom was not threatened, even if he was not of this earth, neither was the Wells before him. Something that Thawne knew, they had to be in the frequency and his daughter, well she clearly wasn't. 

"Really Zoom? This has happened before, only Jay Garrick stopped you before that could happen. Now another Flash is destined to stop you, you're not ever going to become a God of Speed. You are not in-sync with this earth, you never will be! This is the earth of Barry Allen!"

Solomon chuckled, getting into Wells' face, already noticing the deep-seated fear in his eyes and it gave him a spark of adrenaline. Bowing his head, Zoom looked back up with his eyes shrouded in the speed force energy that he had gathered together for a moment. 

"No it isn't, he got in sync with this world because of the Tachyon Device that you brought to this world. Now I will find it because someone has it and that is the key to getting in-sync with this world and becoming all the more powerful. A connection to the speed force but also, a boost in power."

Wells dropped his head in defeat before he sighed with defeat in his mind, the only way they would win now if a Wally West or even Godspeed of another earth would come here. Wishing to bring a new opponent for this man of speed, doom, and plague to face. 

This was a disease, Zoom was not a great speedster, nor was he the best, he just believed he was but he had the capabilities to be one of the most fearsome and deadly. All in all, he was dangerous, someone to watch out for, someone that could become the next God of Speed, if not hindered and broken down. 

"I know what you're thinking wells, Jesse Wells, Barry Allen, those two, those people, they know what to do. They surrender part of their speed, gift it to me and I will end a problem for them. I will bring them a man's head, a man that caused all of you so many problems. Eobard Thawne, just help me with this...tell me who has the Tachyon Device and I shall be in your debt."

Solomon was not going to be killing Wells anytime soon but a promise of his eventual death, it would be greater than anything anyone could ever gift to Barry Allen and Jesse Wells. The man that killed their parents in different worlds and tried too, it was better than nothing...something that he, Hunter, could deliver on tenfold. 

"I say no Zoom, I say this because you are nothing more than a man playing a game. You want to control the pieces, well this is not happening! You're going to fail, either Eobard himself or Barry will be the ones to stop you!"

Hunter smiled, placing his cowl back on as he had since healed from his injuries. Standing up with a groan and stretching himself out mockingly, he picked up Wells, draping him over his shoulder as he spoke with his voice modulated...

"We shall see Harrison..."

The Attack on S.T.A.R Labs

"Is the stage set? Will he be there?"

Godspeed turned to face Zoom and nodded his head that he would be there, he had to be. Otherwise, this attack was going to be over before it began, many things could go wrong, now this had to go right or things would be wrong on so many levels. 

"Then let us watch, pay attention Wells, this is the beginning. August here has become one of my loyal followers, the army of speedsters, the name needs work but this is just it, a new beginning. Let us watch and see!"

As if on cue, a burst of red lightning roamed around S.T.A.R Labs grabbed the attention of Zoom and Godspeed, his eyes narrowing on the sight before him. The Black Flash was here and all too soon, a burst of yellow lightning was beginning to surround S.T.A.R Labs. The Battle had begun, their plan was working but for how long? They needed the facility to be filled enough power for it to shutdown, this better do it, unless Plan B had to be enacted. 

"It'll work, calm down Solomon. This is going to go perfectly, Thawne will not suspect a thing. Even if this does not work, we have the insurance policy."

Both of them turned their gazes onto Wells who smiled uneasily, clearly forced before glaring back up at the building. He wondered what they had planned, this was something that was unexpected, attacking S.T.A.R Labs was rather brazen. This was not the style of Eobard Thawne, a man that worked from the shadows. 

"Indeed, soon you will have to go in and secure our newest teammate, you understand this, don't you?"

Godspeed understood what he was to do, still, working with Zoom was not always something that he liked. He wished to have his own piece of this little plan, he knew that work in Chicago was something that had been rather encouraging. So many things could be done with that little place and with many warring pieces, it was a place that he could find himself settling, for now, he would focus on the mission. 

"I do, I'll make sure to be quick. Now, let's show them a God of Speed!"

Dashing off into the distance, August waited for a moment. Already noticing how Barry was doing against The Black Flash, as well as one might expect, complete shit. He was being bounced around like a pinball and this was barely the beginning of the real plan, they had yet to overpower the facility with their energy.

"Come on Barry, tap into that energy and become The Flash, be who you are meant to be in our world..."

As if his words had encouraged The Flash, Barry started to run laps around The Black Flash, proceeding to beat him with a various style of punches. He became something else, his speed turning a tinge of red, the moment was ready. August readied himself and noticed the change in the air...Barry was being corrupted with the Black Flash's speed-force energy. 

The facility was overpowered and Godspeed, looking back at where he was once standing with Zoom noticed the trail of Blue lightning, signaling him to enter the facility and so he went, dashing into the enemy territory. 

Immediately he was attacked by a various amount of Metahumans, easily defeating them as they were no match for him. He was here for the one person who could make a change in the war against Eobard Thawne. Sighing to himself, he delved deeper and watched as The Black Flash pummeled Barry Allen.

"Godspeed!?"

Turning his head, August noticed Jesse Quick and how she sped away from him before he himself was tackled by the servant of the speed force and almost killed...now this is where the plan was becoming unstable. Godspeed had enough, he had enough, vibrating his hand, rammed his hand into the chest of the Black Flash...

Only the servant stayed on him, neither dying or even showing an ounce of pain, only continuing to deliver pain. Splitting himself into two, Godspeed started to beat down on the Black Flash...leaving him there for a moment as they both searched the facility, looking for Gateway.

"Godspeed! Where do you think you're going!?"

Jesse Quick stood in his way with...Killer Frost and Vibe...now this was definitely not in the plans! Three Metahumans...this was not what he needed right now. He kept himself in two forms, this is what gave him the upper hand right now, they would have to deal with two of him.

"How nice, such a small pack of pups, do you truly wish to face a God?"

Jesse laughed with the full confidence that she could defeat him. 

"No but you are not a God, you're just a lackey playing second fiddle to a true speed demon, to a devil! Why don't you show us, why we should fear you, hm?"

August sped right into Jesse Quick before Killer Frost could even begin to slow him down with her own powers, only she knew that she and Cisco would have to focus on the second Godspeed as he stood there, dashing towards both of them with intent to maim and possibly kill.

Jesse and Godspeed sped around the facility once more, they fought and it was pretty even, Jesse seemed to have healed and learned from her short fight with Zoom. Only she had gained some overconfidence, trying to tackle Godspeed into the ground, only for him to duck and punt kick her in the stomach. 

"You are a failure! Now, die!"

With a yell, Godspeed vibrated his hand and wished to finally end Jesse Quick. Only for Barry to try intercept and in return, he was thrown like a ragdoll. August was not in the mood now, his patience was thin and his punches were no longer pulled. He was fighting with the full force of his Speed, conjuring a lightning bolt in his hands, he threw it out towards Barry, making sure that he would suffer from this!

"AHHHHH!"

Barry screamed as he felt his insides burning, this was almost too much and he eyed Godspeed with loathing before passing out from the pain. His body and even his speed could not handle this right now...he whispered for Jesse to run, only she did not listen and made to take this son of a bitch out.

"Do you really wish to do this child? I wish no ill will on you, walk away and I will make sure that Zoom does not strike you down."

Jesse growled, he was only serving to piss her off further as she heard the screams of Vibe and Killer Forst in the distance. It was clear as day that this was now a bigger threat than usual, what was so important that he had to split into two? No, he had to be after something or someone...Jesse's eyes had widened...Gateway

Using all her speed available to her, Jesse dodged Godspeed and hit him with a roundhouse kick, sending him flying as she continued on her way to the pipeline. She made way to the cell of Gateway and she shuddered as she saw nothing was there...

"They have him...he's gone."

And so Team Flash lost the battle of S.T.A.R Labs, their forces had been defeated with the Flash out of commission for a while. They had won, Zoom and Reverse-Flash had won but what was it? Besides gaining Gateway, just what was this plan? 

"Did you get him?"

August stood by Zoom as they had since left the facility, he was still holding the side of his head, knowing that it would heal in the next hour or so. Still, Jesse Quick had some potential and could prove to be an adversary that would rival them in the near future. Of course, he did not need to tell Hunter that. He had already known the power that the girl could wield, she was dangerous and it made him wonder why Zoom had not killed her. 

"Yes I did, it was a brilliant distraction, only now we know...The Black Flash is not killable. He is a member of the Speed Force, a servant. We would need something else, something different to combat such a threat before moving forward. This war, this battle is far from over and Thawne knows that as well as I do."

August nodded at Hunter's words, it was very true. Black Flash was something dangerous, a servant of the speed force did not always come in handy but like this, it was always going to be difficult. Still, August filed that away for later, knowing that Zoom and Thawne had a plan for it in the end. 

"Still it begs the question, just what happens with Gateway? A man of his power, well it's something that no one will be able to ignore. Team Flash will want to bring him back into their custody while the Speed Force will wish to hunt him down, he's something different, a man that can feel the Speed energy of others on other earths? He's the gate..."

Zoom chuckled at the rather clear naming for Gateway, he was someone that they should watch out for. Hunter knew that this meta was not exactly a good guy, nor was he a bad guy but he was someone that wished to learn more about his power. He would do that and more under him, he was going to learn what it meant to have the world at his fingertips and become one of the greatest meta's to be on this earth. 

"He is the gate, still, it is something that we must remember that he is not all-powerful, he has yet to truly tap into this power of his. He may be the gate August but he is still human, I will not be pushing him that much...for now. He will need to trust us and that is key among everything else."

August nodded, all the same to him in the end, he had told Zoom that he had some business in Chicago and that was true. He heard things, something out of this world and it would do him well to investigate it. Something for himself, not that he did not like working with Zoom but right now, the speedster was okay by himself and could handle Reverse-Flash. 

"Yeah well don't lose sight of what you wanted out of this. It's the beginning, don't rush this, Eobard will notice things and he will definitely keep an eye on you from this little deviance of what he really wanted. Be careful but right now, find the Tachyon Device and you'll become in-sync...that's the goal for now."

Hunter nodded and allowed Godspeed to go about his business as he turned his head, his eyes on the forms of Harrison Wells and Gateway. This was now the beginning of his own ascendancy...he would become the ruler and God of this earth, even if it killed him. 

"Just what is going to happen next with you here Gateway?"
