Is often regarded as our time. Time is something that once spent, is gone forever. No take backs and no refunds... 

I am of course referring to my name and several other upper structure people being told we're bad leaders based solely on nothing other than what the game tells the public.. That being the number of hours we spend physically logged in to the site per week. Now to be clear I don't really what these bad mouthers think of me but I am typing for us to take in consideration. 

I, like a good portion of people playing the game have a full time occupation. Whether it's a job or some kind of schooling. The bulk of our time is spent doing that. I work 4 days a week on the nightshift. The remaining three days a week I am off I spend my time running errands, y'know because I am an adult and we do that kind of thing. Then housework, after that it's usually family/friend time. Then by the time I do all of that.. I am back to work or catching up on sleep. Essentially finding MR time in between.

MR says I am doing 10-20 hours per week.. Almost a part time job. I know I speak for probably every leader here when I say that it doesn't stop with hours logged. Me personally, I am managing 4 google documents and one form just for this game. I was just recently asked to help out with managing a Discord channel for this game. The real kicker? Whatsapp.. Yes that means I am literally carrying MR with me EVERYWHERE as I get text messages all day long from people I am playing the game with. I've been woken up by my phone ringing at me for this game. I know I am not the only one. 

Understand all of those things I do not have to do. I do them to make the playing experience more enjoyable for those around me and for myself. I do them because it's expected of me being in a leadership role. But.... You don't care, right? MR doesn't say I am here 30-40 hours a week so I must just be a lazy LH for a lazy CL. 

Time is the most precious commodity.. And yet I still choose to give a lot of my time to this game... Because it is just a game by the way. Nobody down the line is going to be at my funeral talking about how avid an MR player I was or wasn't. If my brief tirade here still doesn't meet your expectations of a leader... Then tough shit, I am not what you are looking for. 

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the folks that choose to dedicate that amount of time here but to tell us that we are all bad leaders because of a number that's not fully representative of what we are actually doing makes you look foolish.  

Outside the context of MR, playing a game for 10-20 hours per week would be indicative of having a problem; here that is dismissed as being extremely low because some people set the bar insanely high. That's just the nature of the beast. 

Most people understand that there is more to leadership than logging a large amount of hours behind the desk. 

Then the majority needs to speak the fuck up. Otherwise all the hardworking CLs hear is the loud ass bastards complaining out hours put in

I will offer my support here.

This gentleman has always been well spoken, intelligent and reasonable.  Those reasons alone are probably the reason that he is continually asked to be in the upper structures.  

Now, excuse me as I leave my computer logged in while I go and do house chores/smoke blunts/play other games/drink booze/scratch my nuts/watch netflix/burn grasshoppers so as to run up my hours spent here to appease people.

Being a good or bad leader doesn't depend on how many hours you spend here and you shouldn't pay any attention to anyone who says otherwise.

What matters is what you do with the time you do spend here.
