Luis "The Godfather" Patangeli

Is a gangster out of New York, arrested for selling narcotics, assault, bribery, tax evasion, and kidnapping, although thanks to his mob ties, most of these charges could never stick.. His father is Don Roberto Patangeli, head of the Patangeli Crime Family in New York. Luis was thrusted into the underworld at a fairly young age, growing up he was used as his father's messenger boy, carrying his orders to various captains around the city when the war broke out between the Mob families in New York.

By the age of 13, he started his own crew on the streets on Little Italy, a predominantly Italian inhabited neighborhood. His best friend, and first Recruit was Joe Delorenzi, another Italian kid from the neighborhood that lived right next door to them. They started out breaking into houses and businesses by using their small physique to enter windows and crevices in gates that a grown man could not attempt.

When he turned 26, things started to change for him.. he was caught selling Heroin on a street corner his father controlled, when he attempted to flee the scene he threw a passerby to the ground in front of a police officer but was quickly apprehended and taken down to the station.. When he tried to bribe his way out, he was slapped with all said charges and the ones already brought upon him by the FBI.. Tax Evasion and Kidnapping.. He was eventually released on bail and got all charges dropped on the grounds he would leave New York, and that he could never own property there again....

His wife left him for Detroit, taking his only daughter away from him, Valencia, leaving Luis feeling completely hollow inside. He began drowning his sorrow in alcohol, going from tavern to tavern across the country until two weeks later, he arrived on the streets of South Philly, with no home and a few grand left to his name, he met a woman named Yvette when he finally stopped in at a local place to drink. The place was called Dante's, it was an establishment on the Race Street Pier that had significantly stuck out to Luis. After some small talk and learning about who he was, where he came from.. she motioned for him to follow her into the back room where she introduced him to William Bowden.. He was a Lieutenant for the Godfather of Philly, Jack Mezzo, and he had a place in his crew for a man such as Luis...

Over the next few months, the foundations of Philadelphia would be shaken to their core, the Godfather Jack Mezzo, Don William Bowden and Don Strigilori would be gunned down on Christmas day, a day that would life in Infamy among those still associated to Race Street... By this time, Luis had his own Loansharking Operation up and running out of his new Establishment L.P Check Cashing, and had earned himself quite a reputation in South Philly as a strong earner, and a man of loyalty. He was called upon the late Jack Mezzo's grandson, Louis, to continue on as one of his Street Captains, finally earning his button and reaching the Rank of CapoHis rise to power would come sooner than expected, with the retirement of the new acting Godmother for Race Street, Tara, he was given the opportunity to take over the broken down industrial area of South Philly and restore the Labor Union for the new Godfather, Louis Mezzo.

Luis assumed the role as Director of the Race Street Labor Union, and has since brought jobs and business to an area of South Philly that had been run down since World War I. He opened a Cabaret Club in the heart of the industrial, and has since been a leading advocate for worker rights around South Philly, but the FBI thinks otherwise. He is still selling H, extorting local businesses, and ordering the deaths of innocents they say, he is a dangerous man and under his current regime he earned the new nickname "The Merciless" for his brutal approach on street affairs.

By this time, Luis was now nearing his mid 50's, he had rose to the rank of Don in the Race Street Crime Family, his daughter has returned to his life, arriving on his doorstep one day un-announced,  he was more than ecstatic. Mafioso's naturally bring their young into 'this life' but for a daughter, it wasn't 'traditional'... Valencia had showed much interest in her father's affairs, eventually learning of who he was, and the life he lived. She more than embraced it, and became one of her father's top advisors.. a Consigliere to the family.

In the middle of May 19XX, a internal mob war broke out between the Loyalists of Louis Mezzo and the successors, Luis at the time was fleeing the country as he was wanted for the murder of a FBI Agent, or well, his prized bull murdered. By the time he returned from Sicily, he found a new head of his Family, a woman by the name of Isabella, who was relative of the famous "Luciano Family" which had deep mob ties, being the head of the family 'Lucky Luciano'. Luis was named Underboss and given his own district, a field promotion of the sorts.. Luis was just lucky to be alive.

The following week, Isabella was gunned down outside her Club in Philadelphia, for reasons that were not exactly clear to Luis, but was the way of this life.. There was always another Mobster under you looking to take control. A group from Detroit and Seattle we're the supposed killers, but nothing was ever 'confirmed'. Stepping into the new Chairman spot, was a Madam by the name of Whoreable. A well known gal to all, but also seemingly had a troubling past working her brothel houses in the Red Light District that she too within days of taking control of the city, was gunned down..

Luis was the last man standing in PH, all Loyalists besides one crew were remaining in BV, allowing Luis to take the mantle of Godfather-Chairman, giving him absolute power over Philadelphia and all it's affairs.. But before Luis could get comfortable, shots were ringing out in the air, another war was upon them. Seattle had declared war on what remained of the war torn country, in a effort to grab absolute power over the country for themselves.

The Heads of all the remaining cities immediately banded together, putting down the forces of Seattle over what was a long two day mob war, costing the lives of many Gangsters, Goombas, Wise-Guys, Dons, You name it. Once the shooting stopped, the victors stood.. war torn once again, left to rebuild what little left of Cosa Nostra that still existed in the states...

By this time, Luis was not head of his own Company, Patangeli Incorporated, and had a Legal Service operating under him, as well as a Whiskey Distillery, which was pumping out shipments of booze daily to New York, A Produce Company that saw to it of growing all variants of it including marijuana for the hippies out in California, and how could Luis forget.. Aladdin and the Bazaar were fully operational in Bell Vista and shops and merchants had setup from all over the country...

Luis continued expansion of the Philadelphia Mafia, sending outfits to Las Vegas, New York, and as far out as Chicago, earning Luis the title of Capo dei capi, "The Boss of all the Bosses'" and along with it the title of The Godfather

Now turning 57, Luis was an old man, war torn from seeing all his friends and foes pass, that he resided to his Mansion in the South Philly hills on most days. Only leaving for business meetings and to stop by his favorite ice cream shop downtown..
