I heard a story once about a crew operating out of Vegas that taxed its members at 50%. And I heard stories of Curtis making his members kills their friends and associates if their guns got too powerful. What stories have you heard about badly run crews? What makes a crew a well run crew? |

| Once had a crew leader demand to know how many credits you had every week. It was laughable as can be! | |

| I'd share the story I have but it's been seen and I gone through it. But the first one that I was in. My cl I was a hand for back the first year I started told a member who said they were leaving that they didn't need their cash or creds and to send them to her. The rhm and I called her out on it and to this dau I'm still annoyed about it | |

I had one CL way back in the day demand that for Made you had to send them 5 million. No matter how many earnings you had prior you had to send him 5 mil lump sum and say that it was for promotion. Then it got progressively more the higher in rank you wanted to go. Needless to say I never got Made. |

I don't know that you could really say it was badly run when Curtis was in charge. It really depends on which way you look at it. One could argue that it was actually run very well for what that group was able to accomplish, and for how long they were in power.
It really all depends on the criteria of what bad means. A crew that only lasted a week for instance would be a bad group.

| Reading through my ancestors journals I came across one entry where, as a made man or a capo in a crew, he was gunned down by his crew leader because he had happened to be online the same time as a rogue was running amock. No questions, just gunned down. After that, in anger at the stupidity, my ancestors seemed to take a break for the life of crime. It appears that journal entry might qualify as a shocking crew leader. It appears the name was kept anonymous though | |

Mick, you make a good point. Curtis ran the most effective crews this thing has ever seen. But his actions would have made it hard to be a loyal member. This is interesting... |
