Ive been peeking into some of the conversations here and i hear tons of weeping and crying for the fallen. First things first. I pay my respects to the fallen. Insta was a friend, and him falling was not a pleasurable sight to see. If anything, it was painful and one of the harder things Ive had to endure here. Alas, as they say there are only two things guaranteed in life death and taxes. The grim reaper and the tax man comes for us all. I dont care if your a doctor saving lives or a mobster knocking of post offices. Thats just the truth of it. 

Now to all the nay sayers out here, that heard this, or said this. Or heard from such and such about such and such? Oooh. Lets spice up the convo, lets tear Don Petah a new one??? Lets back up the sanitation trucks and stink up the damn streets! You fucking for real? You really think a ounce of all the tears shed, or the tons of crap that has been layered  here...is going to effect anyones sleep thats running La Cosa Nostra? If you think otherwise...your in the wrong business. The council at large decided they needed to make a move. No singular decision is a unanimous call, someone will always have reservations. But that doesn't mean there aren't unanimous decisions. Shit when we burned down the 1041...we all were in on it together. And the only reason Detroit, which was an extension of the 1041 regime, survived is due to the friends it had on the council. Had Det not had these friends, they would have joined the 1041 a while ago. Just depends on the situation. 

So come out here with all the logs in the world. Stir the shit out of the rumor mills. Hell even call us the worst regime to ever grace the face of this place. As far as Im concerned all the rumor mill stuff isnt even worth the paper its printed on. So do yourselves a favor. Pick up some kleenexes, wipe those tears and get back to work. And with how the new rules are of La Cosa Nostra, we get 7 days to move forward. Usually most times, the moving trucks are already filled before the first shot is even fired. Insta was not 1041... Nor was he an extension of such. That's totally incorrect. Hell angelo wasnt even 1041, and even if he was by proxy, just becuase he authed insta doesn't mean he was an "extension" of that. That's called "clutching at straws" the only group insta was a part 

Of was the group that housed Wayne, his rhm, Louis's rhm and a few others, a group they had shared for a good few years. You guys wouldny  ber around in your hq's smoking your fat cigars if you new the shit that was shared on said group.

Also as for the word "friends" yea, that doesnt wash either, Insta was done cold.  And he has passed me plenty of logs to support "most of the rumour mill" that has been mentioned here. 

I my self have had conversations about how "it doesn't matter how my linage plays it, I'll always be killed when It gains power" so I don't know if that comes under bloodlining?

Anyway, I honestly don't care much my father died, like the above conversation it happens a lot. But it's the so called "friends" who have "done me a favour" and kept insta alive. If you ever really though he was 1041 you should have just killed him with ch.

Aladdin LOL you are absolutely right, everyone here complaining are falling on deaf ears... but at the same time these castles that the GFC's are living in will soon have new tenants, because at the end of the day, history shows you will all turn on each other at some point. Might not be now, could be tomorrow, in a week.. 

I do find it funny that on one corner we have people complaining about too many stories, lack of real world discussions about politics and events, and then on the next we have people being told to stop engaging in a real world discussion because it is just bitching. I don't really know what the point of these explanation chats is if not to discuss the explanation proffered, unless you really just want people to come out and accept what is said verbatim?

It is one thing to be engaged in real world discussions, politics, events and etc. If anything, this regime has posted a war thread every time there has been a war. So if anything, we cherish discussion. But there is a difference between plausible discussion and taking a chewing gum and stretching it out like a soap opera. There is a fine line between plausible discourse and just straight whining and complaining...two very different things.

Nothing lasts forever. The only thing that matters is the legacy you leave behind. As for the castles, they don't last either. A GF or two has burned one down here or there....so yea nothing lasts forever. But it will persist as long as it can.

Our bloodlines have been thru more or less the same over time. Nothing new you've stated here minus the current political situation. For the politics, my apologies. The rest, we've seen it all at this point. 

I guess seeing what is "just straight whining and complaining" must be in the eye of the beholder. From where I'm standing, it looks like whatever the winning side said was engaging with the topic and whoever responded negatively to them is just straight whining and complaining because they disagree. If those are the parameters, I fear we are going to get very one sided discussions, which aren't going to be enjoyable or meaningful in any way. I'd like to address this "group" you keep bringing up, Space. We both know it was never what you're making it out to be, but for the sake of transparency I will clarify for everyone else.

The V-day group was formed just for that - valentine's day - on January 22nd. So your claim that this group had been around for years is either an outright lie, or a misconception of time on your end. In the beginning, topics included bashing Rafa, regretting not acting before our ancestors were killed, and our plans to work together on Vday.

Vday came to pass and pretty much none of us actually worked together, save for a few people. Around half of the room emptied out as many of us took a break from this world. During the time of our fathers (MGK and Insta respectively) we initially spoke of intentions to rogue on rafa and his pals, but that didnt come to fruition. My father took on a greater role with Bob, as yours did similarly with Angelo, and as rafa had already died, there was no longer the intention of roguing. The room then served as a general chit chat place where we mainly discussed football and the overall state of the game.

You are trying to make it out to be something more than it was, like it was some sort of underground group. It was never that, at least in most of our eyes. Perhaps you saw it that way but I think it's more that you're trying to spin it that way to cause issues.

I did fight against your removal, for a rather extended period of time. I was somewhat successful, delaying your demise for a short time at least. Aladdin and several others can attest to that. But in the end it came down to betraying my city and those who had helped me, or being loyal to the descendants of a leader of one of my descendants. Valencia and Philadelphia have given me everything I have, and I will not betray them, just as my grandfather Ronin would never have betrayed your grandfather Space-Pole, who gave him everything he had. But I am not my grandfather, and you are not yours, and that is the nature of the beast in this world, I guess. I took no pleasure in assisting with your removal, and I take no pleasure in this aftermath.

I don't think anyone is whining really, I have no issue in you guys standing up for what you believe in and protesting a war threads reasons, such is your right. But when people start twisting things and pushing propaganda, that is where I step in.

Petah - thanks for this.  Refreshing, I like that it was honest:  "To be completely honest as boring as it may sound none of that was why Detroit was removed anyway. Plain and simple they were a threat to our organization."

But, could you give us a bit more info about this?   "I could go on and on about the questionable acts carried out by Detroit recently, the intercepted letters out of the city, and all of the rumors flying around..." 

The previous group had nearly 40 members, and was also not an underground group, but an uppers group for the former NY/SEA leadership of that time. I suppose you could say it was a branching off of that old room, but since it had maybe a third of the membership of "Tish's Bitches" I don't think I'd call it an extension. It certainly didn't deal with the same sort of discussions as the original because the members were no longer in leadership positions, and as the previous room had already had a leak issue, many were cautious to get very involved in V-day Bitches.
