I'm more of a scholar than a killer. but after reading quite a few war transcripts I've noticed a common thread that other's should take notice and maybe consider changing their thinking. It seems that many leaders of various cities have turned against their own for what they thought was for the common good.  I can understand their reasoning, they killed their own thinking it would save their entire city and/or crew. That sounds great in theory, but if you read the history transcripts, from what I can tell, this has not worked. I've read over and over again past leaders basically saying, I did what another city asked and killed my own. Then a week, two weeks later, you killed my entire city. It seems evident that if you kill your own, you weaken your city and are more vulnerable to attacks. Wouldn't it be better to take a stand and attack those that want you to kill your own? You may die trying but isn't that better than dying in your sleep a week or so later? It seems like the more honorable thing to do. It also seems that when your family arrives to take your place after death they will be able to find a home a lot easier because your father, mother, whatever, was the person that was loyal to their own. There you have it, that's my observation. Am I wrong? Has anyone reading this ever said "Aw hell no, I'm not killing my members,"  and attacked those that suggested it and are proud of their decision? Has it hurt or helped your reputation? Lastly... Did your family feel more or less bloodlined when they arrived?

Thank you for the beer and the input. I think you made a very good point. Trust does work both ways and I would definitely think that no one should feel vulnerable in their own city. I certainly can't claim to be an expert from reading transcripts without deeper details, but I think my observations are solid and a fresh eye on things can't be a bad thing, right?
