INTRODUCTION I love this city. I love my crew. I truly do. My CL is literally a leader among men. I owe him a lot, in fact, I owe him my life. Seattle is a strong, cohesive city, but it has faults and flawlines. The critique that I'm about to offer is given with love, and genuine affection. We are a family, and like all families, we have disagreements. But we stick together. Were it not for that safety net, I wouldn't feel safe saying that which I am about it. NUMBER OF CREWS There are five crews in Seattle. That is one too many. The most recent crew should simply be absorbed into one of the bigger crews. Or, alternatively, they should recruit me as a RHM, and I could do many great and wonderful things. VIP STATUS This one is difficult. It makes me many hours to prepare in-depth, analytical street speeches like this. But I do them, because I love Seattle, and Video, and the Streets. But despite my talent at this, I haven't been given VIP status. VIP status doesn't seem particularly important to Seattle. It should be. If this speech does nothing else, I hope it helps to change Seattle's attitude to VIP status. ONE WORD NAMES Over half of our Upper Structure have one word names. Can this be good for publicity? I have a on word name, but it is a very good one word name. Are we entitled to expect better names from our leaders? Such as the Ligabmi's? STREET PRESENCE Historically, Seattle has been a bit of an underdog city. We now have a powerful city, a table at the top, and practically an army. Why haven't we been dominating the Streets? I can certainly help, and I wouldn't need too much in the way of investment. CONCLUSION This has been my critique of my home city. I love my home city, and I want to help. What do Hayley Mickey_Bowers alan Video Tony- Wilson Wild-Card Suna Integra Kat-Pryde Thomas_OMalley and Newt_Scamander have to say about this? |

Hey Madonna, video spritzes some cologne on himself. He smelled hella bad today. Although I appreciate your thoughts on our city I am curious on a few things. The biggest thing is I’m slightly confused why you want to talk about how we are functioning as a city in a public domain? Although I don’t have much to hide I do believe omertà is a thing that has slowly diminished over the years and wish to not fully engage in all the areas you brought up. However, as you can see I hella love these streets so here I am. One word names - I see no issue with this. My name is as awesome as they come. It’s simple. You shouldn’t look to see better names from your leaders but what they do under that name. It is similar to hours in this life, it’s not how often you are here but what you are doing while you are here that is essential. VIP Status - Handouts aren’t something we do in Seattle so if you are going to continue to expect that you’re going to miss out on whatever you hope that status would achieve. To be honest, I’m not trying to be mean here, but I don’t think your short street speeches merit a vip status. Perhaps if you spoke longer on topics that would be more interesting and a worthwhile thing to consider, however it most likely still would not occur. Number of Crews - we have four active crews. The Merlin Order or Newts Family has dissolved into Kat Pryde’s new family. We are hoping newt finds his way back to Seattle.
Now for my honest criticism: 1. Practically an army...I have no idea what you are referring to here. Are you speaking about the vast amount of players that dwell within Seattle? Are you speaking of hitters? I will wait for you to respond before I continue on here. 2. Your crewleader is a woman. 3. Why did you bring these thoughts to the streets instead of seeking us out to gain our thoughts about our own city? |

Hello Video, thanks for getting back. I felt that the items that I have issue with aren't really within the remit of Omerta. However, I would be happy to stop, if that's your wish? I think most people prefer a two name name for a leader. I'd thought that this wasn't controversial. I sacrificed a two-name name to try and make myself better known. But I've always felt that a leader should have a full name which is memorable. But Video is catchy and excellent. I think that VIP Status is now really a handout; it's more an investment, in the prestige of our city. Has Newt's crew been dissolved because of my suggestion? Regarding your feedback: 1 - I think that I am referring to the vast numbers of well trained, and well trained, motivated people. 2 - I shall bear that in mind from now on, madam. 3 - I like discussions to be made in public, and all publicity is good publicity for Seattle. |

1. I believe Seattle has a great group of experienced people who freely volunteer their time so that others can understand how to live in today’s society. So the fact that you recognize that is good. 2. Wait, your crew leader is Hayley who is a woman. I am a man and am not your crew leader. Sorry if there was confusion there. 3. Disagree. Not all publicity is good publicity. We aren’t trying to be a business and our hopes aren’t that we establish a sort of media circus around us talking about who we are and what we like to do. That’s not for the mafia type
I want you to feel the freedom to come to the streets. You have every right to speak publicly about the whatever you want. With that comes the sort of counter arguments you would get from someone like me. 1. Newts crew was not dissolved because of you or any suggestion you have shared. Newt has not been available and to look for the future and present of our city we had to ask his Right hand to set up. 2.Vip as an investment. I consider what you mean as valid but I prefer to invest with where I see value. Again I mean this as no disrespect but when you are sharing words in the streets that are less than a paragraph I don’t believe that’s something I wish to invest in. If you put together lengthy stories or wordy debates purposefully that I could see myself investing in, yet as I have previously stated that won’t happen here. Your last few street presentations are great in the fact that you want to be out and about and I love that but honestly there is no meat to your presentations. 3. Thankyou for the compliment on my name. As you know, once you start this life you can’t change your name. When I first came here it was because my dear friend water had recruited me. She pressured me to join and I had, under her, rose through the ranks out of necessity. I had no dream of being a crew leader or godfather I didn’t believe I would earn that this run. Had I known I would, I’m not sure I would have chosen a secondary name. You say think most prefer a second name for their leaders and although that may be true I still don’t feel this bears any mark on how one cares for those within his city limits just realized earlier you asked if one names were good for publicity, I do not believe most leaders in general care whether or not they have publicity. Leaders care about their public those whom they serve while they govern. So personally I prefer that what’s said in our house or how we govern is kept within our walls. I would prefer a person who has a wise guy to not publicly state how we should run our city as I feel that is disrespectful to ones leadership.
Yet since you have vocalized how you think things should be run, and even spoke about how you feel you would be a great right hand I would love to ask you about it. What would make you good at leading or caring for others in our city? How could I know that you wouldn’t publicly voice your opinion about the state of affairs of our city? |

| I must say this is a first a Wise Guy rating his city and their inner workings in the streets. This is a direct violation of Omerta and the fact that Godfather Chairman Video has taken the time out of his day to respond to this instead of calling for your head is a true showing of his character | |

DeanWinchester- I can to an extent understand why you think that. The type of critical and nuanced thinking that I'm capable of is not within the gift of some people so I can't condemn your words. And in one way you're correct. Video and Hayley have created a city that is robust and agile. You seem a touch more fragile, so I'll just wish you all the best and buy you a glass of beer |

Well, Father, your honest and good natured look at the city you loved led to your murder. That is a tragedy. And now what? Should someone look again at Seattle? With less kind eyes? Do they deserve any more time spent looking at them? |

Mr_Madonna as I addressed you in your other speech and told you the term Omertà is thrown around too loosely. . Your father wasn’t "loyal to the oath of omertà" for as a WiseGuay hadn’t taken one. As I stated Omertà is an extreme form of loyalty and solidarity. It seals lips of men even in their own defense or the defense of a loved one, even when they feel they are innocent of charged crimes.
Your father doesn’t seem like a bad guy. Had your father really understood the oath we take in this thing of ours he should have known you can’t critique your home city, family business in the streets. Good luck brother, but you got to move on. |

I really do not like to speak where it is unnecessary but my linage knows well where to and not to walk I am sorry to see that your father Mr_Madonna had spoke his mind, but here is some things to keep in mind.
My bloodline is known for running through the streets for entertainment. Never once have I looked to my Godfather and gone "I deserve to be recognized for my posts, to be given VIP, to be seen for the work in the streets. I would hope that the ideals of everyone is to yes, at some-point invest in their members who show they truly want to help. I would hope all leaders yes, not only have their own way of going about the way they run their family their crews. Some invest in few others many. But I can say from my ancestors logs.... "Never expect to get what you say you are entitled to." Work hard prove it Mr_Madonna. We all do our best. If you are not given VIP, well it is not that expensive to collect by just working hard for the thing you want. Next time... And I do say this as nice as possible, do not critique on the streets, think hard about the omerta and chill. If you are working hard then maybe you will get recognized for it. But as sir Video had said, maybe try to have better or lengthy discussions or share some tales or something, do not get anything bunched up or twisted because the lack of attention is missing from your space. And with this I bid you and your fathers soul safe travels and better nights ahead. Freak waved before heading off to work on some late requests for the apothecary business. |

Oh good god. Instead of whining about whether your city gives you VIP treatment, pony up the $600k yourself. If you're such a good hard worker it'll take you less than a day to cobble it together. If you can't, stop whining. You're not as good as you think you are. |

I applaud the fact that you have "supporters". Whether I have support or not is a moot point and not part of the debate; your father's original complaint is that he didn't feel sufficiently appreciated as a VIP. I'm saying it's doesn't take the wealth of Croesus to do it yourself. |

Shouldn't hard work, valid work, be rewarded? Shouldn't those that show initiative and panache be given rewards, Oxygene? Isn't that what leadership is about? What did Video gain by murdering by father? And did the Streets lose? |

I wouldn't exactly say this effort shows much initiative or panache. You father called out your city leaders publicly asking what they would do to fill the gaps he felt were there, what did he think would happen? Some leaders might accept it, some don't. There may have been words in the background, there may not have been but in either case the end result was ultimately unsurprising. Maybe Video gets a glow of self satisfaction at putting the squeeze on a pip, maybe he gets a thrill at appearing like a pantomime baddy in your tale of woe. Let's be brutally honest though, it's not like your father was the Pied Piper leading flocks of people to the streets, I think the streets will get over it. |
