Taking a long drag from his cigarette McDermott nods in the direction of Godfather Marcus. In the background of the office SyrupWaffle can be heard dropping ice cubes into glasses. As McDermott talks smoke rolls from his mouth like a cool storm in the West. McDermott takes the glass handed to him by SyrupWaffle while the glass makes cracking sounds as the whiskey settles around it.

"Thank you SyrupWaffle, always could pour me a good glass when I need it." He says.

Nodding to him SyrupWaffle smiles and takes a seat. Just after sitting down Remus_Lupin walks in and takes his coat off.

"Sorry I'm late guys, dreadful weather out there."

Soon after taking a seat Remus_Lupin sits back and pulls a cigar out of his pocket.

"Today I've gathered you all here for a certain and specific reason. Since being in Detroit our family headquarters have become quite full, which is great. After discussing things with Godfather Marcus and receiving approval I wanted to inform you, Remus, and Syrup of the matter that will be taking place shortly."

Looking at McDermott with excitement Remus and Syrup begin grinning. At the same time McDermott is met with a smart comment from the both of them.

"That is?"

Taking a moment and smiling McDermott clears his throat.

"Today we will see our first captain setup in Detroit. Although he is a quiet man, he has shown promise in his ability to handle himself with poise and leadership. Marcus and I both feel that he will represent Detroit to it's fullest."

Nodding Marcus grabs a brown bag with $15,000,000 in cash in it. He throws it to McDermott. Handing it to his bodyguard McDermott looks at Syrup and Remus.

"Marcus, let's find a place to party. Your night club? Remus, go get Sound_Warnings, Octavian and Myrddin. Syrup, you know it wouldn't be a party without a few ladies."

Getting into his black Ford with Syrup and Remus the trio heads over to The Action League family headquarters while Marcus sorts a few things on the business end. Coming to a hault the brakes on the car screech from the cold winter. Quickly exiting the car McDermotts bodyguards bring InspectorGadget from the family bar just inside. Tossing him into the car he looks around in confusion.

"It's okay, I understand. The women, they get me too." McDermott says with a smile.

"I'm going to keep this short, sweet and to the point. Today you're getting a chance to lead your own family." Smiling InspectorGadget looks at McDermott confused but amazed. Tossing the bag of cash to him Syrup and Remus congratulate him.

"Good luck and Congratulations on authorization InspectorGadget."

It is always good to see a city wrenched away from the authorities and brought back under, how shall I say this, more appropriate control. Allows for greater efficiency in all matters financial. It is good to see that following on from Marcus' imposition of authority, the prevalence and influence of our sort out in Detroit is growing. It certainly can't be a bad thing.

Gadget, I look forward to you bringing your own unique elements and idiosyncrasies to the management of the city. I'm sure you'll do a stand-up job, and I wish you good fortune. Just make sure to keep an eye on McDermott though. He really needs to get that growth checked out.
