Dante waited by the corner and looked on as people stepped up to the soapbox to throw their hat in the ring to become one of the new leaders in Chicago. He walked up and took a look at the crowd before speaking.

"Hello ladies and gentleman I Dante, would like to present my case for one of the spots available in Chicago. I'm going to keep this short and to the point. I may be older than some of the other candidates and admittedly my family tree may lack some in the experience department, but I know teamwork and leadership, and this is what I feel like I can bring to Chicago. I am willing to work hard to make this city grow and prosper for all of the people who will live there with me in the future if I am lucky enough to be given this opportunity.

I have had a number of people that have helped me learn and improve during my time in 'this thing of ours' and I would like the chance to return that favor to other people that may be in a similar situation to what I was. If I am approved to set up my own crew in Chicago I will focus on recruiting and helping those who join as much as possible and working together with the other crew leaders of the city to form the best Chicago possible." 

Dante steps off and go back and wait at the corner and listen to the next person step up.

Dante, nice effort and increasing the knowledge of your family is definitely an admirable objective which would be beneficial in a Don.

Well, Thank you for your question Mr. AvardT.

First off it a public contest, therefore, I will answer questions from the Godfather Council or from the public.
Yes, this is the first thing I've said publicly. I'm not the greatest person to make speeches but a had a conversation with a good friend of mine which told this be a great an opportunity to prove myself and to show what I'm capable to do.
 

And no this is not just a speech to an end to trying to get a nod. I'm here to work with people to make the city grow and to prosper for both of the districts.

For someone that knows your bloodline a little bit. I am certainly happy to see you take this step outside of your comfort zone. We have never really worked directly together, but I have heard about your additions to families you have been a part of. And I would certainly like to see what you can offer to the leadership table at the council. 

However, I will give some amplitude to what AvardT said here. We have not seen you about the cities much. For someone willing to take on the mantle of leading Chicago into the future. Will we see more of you here in the streets? If you were given the mantle of leading Chi into the future?
