Felt it lacked a football thread in here. PL season has just started and as always this will most likely be a good one.  

My Top 6: 1: Liverpool 2: Man City 3: Spurs 4: Arsenal 5: Man Utd 6: Chelsea  

Thoughts: 
- LFC & City will be a close one again, just going for LFC based on they might be more hungry because they came so close last season.  
- Spurs looking a solid 3 for me now, maybe a title push? It all depends on them keeping Eriksen, either way top 3 anyways.  
- Arsenal 4 because I liked their new additions, defense is still a big Q. Think United will be close, and Chelsea looking the weakest of top 6.  

What are your thoughts & predictions for this season?

City have too much depth not to come first, too much quality. If Mane, Salah or Firmino get injured, that's really going to impact on Liverpool's season, same with Van Dijk. 

I think Spurs will come 3rd and I think you could see a surprise addition to the top 6. Chelsea and United have made the wrong appointments in my opinion but we'll see how it plays out. I think Wan Bissaka looks good, Maguire looks good but it's a long season. I think Pogba will go in Jan and they'll need a new striker by then, if they don't bring one in I think they'll struggle the back end of the season.

Chelsea's transfer embargo has done them over, I'm not sure Frank will be able to do much with youngsters. I think they write this season off tbh.

I think if Everton get off to a good start, we might see them do well this season and get top 6. They seem to have a well balanced side and they could do alright, they don't have any worries with additional matches like Wolves, which could take it out of them if they get to the group stages of Europa, otherwise I'd say Wolves get in the top 6. Leicester have also made some good signings and could be up there but Maguire's a huge loss. Vardy will need to be on fire this season.

Yeah, seemed like that just had to get a winger before the window closed. But in today`s market and the spending power of the PL clubs, it`s not the biggest risk to get Iwobi. He also has several years with PL experience which should be a big +. 

Arsenal will be up among the top 6 this season, of course.  But the pre-season friendlies say alot about a club's prospects and Arsenal lost theirs .....

Would love to see Wolves have a great season, good group of players so hopefully they all get to show their worth. I can see them coming in the top 6.

I don't think Villa will get relegated. I think they've done enough to at least stay above relegation. I want to see Derby make it up this year though.

^^ Agree with Villa, they should be strong enough to stay clear of relegation. 

I see they are being compared to what Fulham did last year with their "Money Ball" strategy.

Unlike Fulham most of their buys was made early & 3 of them was on loan with them last year. 

I hope Liverpool gets the league this year, City would be 2nd of course if that happened and Tottenham 3rd.
