Dear Brutus,

Sadly, the speech that I gave continues to generate debate.

I wish therefore to make a number of points.

Firstly, and most importantly, and of course most obviously, you are not a terrible crew leader.  You took decisive action against a low level mobster from your family when he fired off a shot that he shouldn't have.  

Secondly, that mobster was my father and, perhaps understandably, I wanted to, in some way, "even the score" for his death.  The way I chose was to give a speech challenging your conduct.

Thirdly, I was completely, and totally, absolutely wrong.  I simply did it to generate some heat, having been upset at the loss of my father.  You handled it with good grace, style and wit.

Finally, my CL, Garou, gave me a chance.  I took that chance, matured, developed, and come to these Streets to apologise, wholeheartedly, and sincerely.  I hope that this is the final word on what I said in the heat of anger - it bothers me that my speech is returned to and discussed.

I hope that this is the end of it.

Brutus, I salute you.  I wish you and yours well in the future.

I am a firm believer in buying things when you say you're sorry. It just goes that much further ya know. Maybe a cake, flowers, or those things you can purchase on the marketplace.

I've sent Don Brutus a token of my esteem

It takes a deal of courage, even in anger, to come to these streets against an established crew leader and Don of our world. 

But it takes more still to stand in public and apologize, and admit that you were in the wrong. I salute you for being willing to do so, especially in a manner this thorough.

Now that ladies in gents is such style and grace, I would say Louis_T proved us all wrong, we shouldn't be so quick to judge on second chances.
