Ok, so I was reading a few threads... I liked some of them and some I didn't, also I liked some of the replies but others I didn't!

now if I were to comment on all of the threads and all of the replies with just I liked x's reply would take me ages...

how about putting a Like button on every thread and reply so that the people who do not like/have time to post would just provide their opinion by liking or disliking the thread/reply

a thumbs up and a thumbs down perhaps ?

If you like someone's post or reply, that they took the time to put into words and in character... why not articulate your agreement to their statements with a response that you take time to write, just as they did?

If we're going to take features from facebook...I'd rather see something integrated whereby I can see pictures of bikini clad women with whom I have a tenuous link, much like the holiday albums of a friend's friends.

How would a "Like" feature make the game better? How would a "Like" feature encourage role play instead of mindless monkey button clicking?

I do like the idea of having a "Like" button, however it is too much like Facebook. People could just go around liking a whole bunch of posts, whereas if they posted a reply agreeing, they could actually elaborate out why they agree or such. And if you don't have that much time to simply write a reply on a post, you wouldn't be taking the time to check threads and whatnot that are posted then..
