If you're a fan of the old Vampire the Masquerade series you've probably at least heard of (if not played) the Bloodlines video game which, after being moded and arguably finished by the fans, became increasingly popular long after it's launch.

Now a new company holds the Vampire IP - a new group with an updated vision for White Wolf's 'World of Darkness' and they are releasing Bloodlines 2.  I'm wondering who here has heard of it and if you're as hyped as I am!  I'm a longtime VTM fan and while I"m not a massive video game player, I really enjoyed the original bloodlines and will probably buy this new game on pre-order.

Any other VTM fans out there?

Have only heard of it through a friend who mentions it online from time to time and I'm more of a guy who likes the publishing company (Paradox)'s games. Although it looks like it probably won't run on my crappy laptop, the gameplay trailer looks great and interesting. I've been following the clan reveal videos and trailers for a while now. 

I can't wait to play it. I honestly have never played the first one, but I've been getting into Word of Darkness and Vampire the Masquerade tabletops lately, so now I really want to play the new game :)

Currently part of a VTM tabletop campaign that has been running for about 6 years. Everyone who plays is understandably very excited for the new game. It's a cool world and hopefully they can make another game which lives up to it. 

I played the 1st one a bit, that haunted hotel level was absolutely fucking awful! Curious to see how the new game turns out!

*fingers crossed* Really hoping they don't mess it up. I've (as many others probably have) been waiting a very long time. So again *fingers crossed* that it makes all the waiting worthwhile and doesn't end up being a massive slap in the face to VTM fans because way too many games these days have done just exactly that.
