Yesterday had been quite the hectic day in New York. Following the unexpected passing of Garou, ___I____, and William, Petah was left to reorganize the city and keep things running smoothly. 

His first order of business was a trip to Blackout to speak with Rampage. After a short discussion Rampage had agreed to move his operations to Manhattan where he would take over the district while working closely with Anne. 

Once that was all settled and Rampage along with his members had packed up and moved, Petah headed back to Brooklyn to get things sorted there. He already knew he would be authing Desiderio, in fact, they had already discussed it weeks ago. The day's events definitely moved up the timetable a bit though. 

He found Desiderio and Alcee_ back at the S&T headquarters and explained everything to them. Not surprisingly Desiderio was ready and had his own operation up and running within the hour; Bensonhurst Steel. It had been like that since he had joined NY a month and a half ago. If Petah ever needed help with anything he always knew he could count on Desiderio, whether it was helping out newer members of the crew, helping with finances, or helping keep everyone safe during wars, he was always right there by Petah's side. 

When Petah woke up this morning he knew there was just one more matter to handle, making an official announcement to the rest of the community. He and ProjecT met up with Desiderio, Anne and Rampage and the five of them headed out to Petah's favorite park bench to make the announcements. 

"Ladies and gentleman, despite the unfortunate events that lead to all of this yesterday I am none the less pleased to announce to you all that Rampage has taken over as acting Godfather of Manhattan, and Desiderio has set up a crew of his own here in Brooklyn. Rampage has been with me from day one, and I know him and Anne_Oakely will make a great team in Manhattan. Desiderio has also been with me for a long while now and has done everything I could have ever expected and more to help NY. He is a selfless man, who is always acting for the betterment of the city and has helped me out more than he even realizes."

Petah jumped down from the bench and turned to Rampage and Desiderio.

"Congratulations to both of you, I know you will both do amazing things. If either of you would like to address the people before we leave now's your chance!" 

The last day had been quite the blur. Desiderio had to put a rush on the purchase of the steel forge he'd has his eye on the last few weeks. There had already been papers drawn up, but he hadn't pulled the trigger just yet. One conversation with his Godfather Chairman and Desiderio made sure the papers were signed that day.

Tired or not, when your leader steps up to speak you tend to snap to attention. Desiderio would have never expected the wonderful words of praise that flowed forth from Petah's lips as he announced the movements in the Big Apple that had taken place. Desiderio felt Alcee_ 's hand squeeze onto his arm just before he piped up to speak at Petah's offer.

"Grazie, Godfather Chairman, for your trust and for the opportunity that you have given me here alongside you in Brooklyn, as well as, your continued guidance here in our wonderful city. I hope to live up to every expectation that I know you have for me as we build something beautiful in the Big Apple." Desiderio nodded towards Rampage . 

"With Don Rampage taking the recently vacated spot over in Manhattan, I know that our city will continue along the right course. I'm thankful to be surrounded by such a group of wonderful mafiosos as I step out into this world to begin to forge my outfit.

Now with all that being said, I'm sure I could use a drink and my taste buds are feeling quite expensive tonight." 

Desiderio stepped down from the bench with a smirk. Alcee quickly joined him and reached her hand in to pull his flask out from within his jacket. She unscrewed the top and handed it to him with a wink. Desiderio chuckled and took a pull as he looked around at the faces gathered by Petah's favorite bench.
