Hiram paused as he was passing by... The opium from Svent was still batting a thousand and he knew he shouldn't try and get himself home yet. Bowling? Why not, seemed as nice a stop as any. Wandering inside Hiram made his way to the front desk and looked over the prices. Pulling out six dollars, he placed it on the table. "Size ten and a half shoe... And an hour on any open lane..." He smirked, that crooked grin that always promised to get him in trouble.

The person behind the counter smiled, took his money, and handed him a pair of shoes. "Lane one is open for you, Misterrrrrr..."

"Black," Hiram spat out as he struggled getting the first shoe one, catching himself before he fell and turning to lean against the counter.

"Mister Black it is... Are you okay sir?"

"Aye, I'm more than okay, my child. Just getting the shoes on!" He stood straight with a smile once they were on and winked, making his way to lane one to set up his game and choose a ball...

Svent walked into the bowling alley, deciding to play a game or two before going home. While he waited for GlitterGoddess to join him, he walked up to the counter. "Two games for two people. I wear a size thirteen." He told the worker before taking the shoes.

"Here you go. Lane four." The person said, he nodded and took the shoes before heading to the lane. He changed his shoes and tested the bowling balls for the right weight while continuing to wait.

Hurry Glitter, hurry!  You can do this.  Directions weren't usually her strong suit, but the girl was determined not not to make her new friend wait.  Wiggling with glee and more than enough alcohol in that system, Glitter hurried along to where she was told the new bowling alley could be located.  And voila!  The instructions were sound! Here she was!  Hurrying through the door, she looked around beaming excitedly.  Glitter LOVED bowling!  Alright so she LOVED a lot of things...  But still.  She knew that bowling was very much fun and there was more than enough room for hilarity and enjoyment to be had by all.  So into the establishment she moved, casting her gaze around.  One man bowled alone over at lane 1...  She was fairly certain that she was beginning to recognize him by now.  They seemed to frequent a lot of similar places, even if she had never yet really gotten in a conversation with him herself as of yet.  Someday maybe...  But perhaps not today.  Then again who knew what the evening would bring?

There!  At lane 4 stood her new self proclaimed buddy.  She wiggled with excitement before moving quietly to the counter.  The man behind it nodded over to where Svent was picking out a ball.  "Your boyfriend's waiting for you Miss-"

"Boyfriend?"  Glitter hadn't been aware she'd had a boyfriend.  Did she?  Blinking in a fairly perplexed manner, she tried to work out just who he was talking about.  Oh! Svent!  He must have thought...  Must have assumed...  Glitter furrowed her brows a little.  "He is a boy...  And he is a friend.  Can I have a pair of size six shoes please?"  She beamed up at the man who just shook his head at the little oddity before him before producing a pair of shoes chuckling softly.  She quickly set to putting them on before bouncing gleefully down to where Svent could be found.  Hey Sveeeeeeent!  You ready to play?!"  She chirped happily as she had most of her motive coordination back...  More or less.  Oh yes.  She was excited.  This was going to be beautiful!

When Svent finally chose the ball he wanted, he froze. He didn't look that young, did he? The man made a mental note to look in a mirror when he got home. He couldn't imagine looking young enough to be a teenagers boyfriend. The male chuckled a little at the though and even more so when GlitterGoddess corrected the man behind the counter.

The blue-eyed male watched as she approached him, nodding towards the bowling balls on display. "Pick yours out then we can start." He told the excited teen as he gave her an amused look.

Glitter heard the chuckle and looked over with an even bigger grin.  Truly Svent seemed to find the situation funny but honestly it went right over Glitters head, as did most things.  She finished tying her shoes and moved over to Svent at their lane.  His words made her nod eagerly. She picked up the first ball she saw, cringing.  Too heavy.  She returned it before trying another.  The holes were too big for her fingers... This was going to be harder than she thought!

But just as she thought that, a ball all but jumped out at her.  It was beautiful...  Pink marbled, and one of the lighter ones she's found so far.  Coming bouncing over to Svent with her find, she beamed holding it up. "Ok! I'm ready!" She said as she bounced over to join him.

Levey made his way into the new bowling alley. It still had that new wax smell permeating through the place and he laughed as he made his way to the counter.

"Size ten, open a lane up for me, close it when I tell you to."

He slid a hundred dollar bill onto the counter and then managed to understand that lane ten was open to him through the stammered reply. Money made people dumb sometimes, it would appear that this was one of those times.

As he made his way down to the lane he waved to HiramBlack.

"Good to see you Mister Black, having a good time?"

He winked and then passed by GlitterGoddess.

"Well well, if it isn't the young Miss Pryde. Looking radiant as ever I must say, even in those clown shoes."

He noticed she was with a young man as well and so he stopped.

"Apologies, I'm Mister Posner, and any friend of Nessa's is a friend of mine. I'll leave you two to your date and I'll keep quiet on my practice lane."

He then made his way over to the prescribed lane and began to change his shoes.

Hiram nodded in reply to Levey_Posner , then smirked overhearing the comments of boyfriends and dates. "Sly ole Svent, hmm?" He chuckled but chose not to make more of a spectacle of the old gent and the teen. "Date, father daughter date maybe..." Hiram snickered to himself. "I'm watchin' ya, Svent ole boy!" he called out to the other old soul like himself, winking and pointing with a laugh.

"Have a good game you two, and you as well Mr. Posner!" he called across the hall.

Now it was time to focus. The opium had warn off while he'd warmed up on a few games. Sober Black was ready for a good game! Hell, maybe he'd even start a league if they opened a bowling hall in Chicago. That could be fun, right?

"Alright, Hiram. Step, step, step, annnddd, slide, RELEASE!" he quietly called his steps as he sent the ball spiraling down the lane. It curved out toward the gutter, teetering on the edge before catching grip and ripping back into the pins. STRIKE!

"KA-POW!" he yelled excitedly with a fist pump. "That's how we like 'em boys!" He turned and then suddenly remembered he was bowling alone. With a soft chuckle, he chastised himself for getting too worked up. The rest of his game would be much more quiet, even if he still made little fist pumps with every strike and spare thrown...

Svent nodded at GlitterGoddess as she came running up to him with her pink bowling ball. He chuckled then motioned for her to go first. The male took a seat as he waited for her to go. While he was waiting, he examined the one he had chosen. The ball was of good quality but he preferred the one he owned at home. Then again, he wasn't quite expecting to go bowling.

His examination of the ball was paused when he caught movement from the corner of his eye. He looked up to see an unfamiliar face talking to the desk person. After that the stranger greeted Glitter and eventually Svent himself. "Nice to meet you Mr. Posner. I'm Svent." He said before the man wished them luck on their date and went to their own lane. That was the second person in one night to think he was young enough to be Glitter's boyfriend. He supposed that he should keep it as a compliment though.

Svent couldn't help but shake his head at Hiram's joke. He knew the other male knew better. Just as he went back to examining his ball, he heard a loud crash and a hoot. This caused him to chuckle before deciding his examination was complete and that it would be rude not to watch Glitter bowl.

Oh Glitter was absolutely ecstatic!  This was like...  The best game ever!  She was fairly certain anyway.  It looked so fun when she'd watched people do it before, but she had yet to try it herself.  She understood it in theory, but practice?  Yea she had none.  She was just heading over to Svent again when she heard a familiar voice behind her.  Whirling around, she almost dropped the ball in her hands.  Her gaze lit up with recognition and joy as she saw the man she had found work from in Chicago.  Oh she liked him!  He was very kind to her and easily likeable by the eager young woman.  As he walked over and greeted her, she dipped her head in enthusiastic greeting as well.  "Mr. Posner!  It's so wonderful to see you again!  I hope you are well!"  Her cheeks heated a little at his compliment and she grinned and did a playful little twirl on the smooth shoes, almost managing to land herself on her backside.  Bowling shoes really weren't too great for the uncoordinated, but she was going to give them a try.  "These things?  Aw they could use some glitter, but they're alright!"  She giggled a little and watched in interest as he moved on to greet Svent.  He was the second to insinuate that they were on a date.

Before she could even form a rebuttal a voice came from the other side of them.  Her eyes widened a touch.  Watching him?  Svent was trustworthy.  He was a gentleman as far as she could see and more than that, he was her friend!  "No no no, you both must be mistaken!  We're here as friends to bowl not a date."  Sure she was a little blunt, but feeling the need to clear the air all around and having it go quite over her head that they might be being messed with at this point, she shook her head a tad.  But soon enough the voice of her friend accompanying her drew her attention once more.  He said she could go first!  Squeaking with excitement, she looked back to the ball that was still clutched almost lovingly in her arms.  Right!  She just had to throw it down the lane and hit those pins down there.  Nothing to it right?  She so had this.

Wriggling with glee, she found herself square in front of her lane.  She carefully moved herself into position just as she had seen people who were actually good at this game do, she reared back, quickly moved up, using her momentum to roll the ball in a firm underhanded throw.  Oh that was beautiful!  Wait... Let go Glitter! Let go!  Crap!  The momentum just about took the girl with the heavy ball and she let go a second or so after she meant to.  Up went the ball higher than it should have, and WHAM!  It landed with an ungodly loud thud before rolling down the lane at a fairly slow pace.  The whole way down it threatened to drop into the gutter but somehow it stayed on the lane, barely riding that line.  Down down down it went as if it were on a leisurely walk through the park, not racing down a bowling lane.  Glitter watched it with bated breath, so drawn into what the ball was doing, everything around her faded away.  After what seemed like an eternity, the ball gently knocked down the very corner pin but didn't even cause the others to sway in the least.  "WOOOOOOOOO!"  The over excitable girl suddenly errupted as if she had knocked them all down.  "I got one!!!"  She wiggled excited as she retrieved her ball.  She understood enough about the game to know that she got another turn to try for the rest of them.  Furrowing those brows she concentrated very hard once again before getting into position and launching the ball again.  This time she let go just about where she meant to.  The ball moved with purpose down the lane this time, but the spin was just a tad too much.  In her excitement she had jerked just to the side as she released and it spun toward the opposite gutter.  Thankfully it took two pins off the other side before it could get there.  Glitter jumped for joy before hurrying back toward where Svent sat.  "Your turn your turn!"  Good grief, did the girl do anything calmly?  Refined dignified gangster? Hah...  One would wonder if she could even spell refined dignified gangster at a time like this.  But one could not deny the life and joy dancing in those eyes at a time such as this.

Levey was normally a laid-back man, not much could bother him. Bowling and golf though? Those were games of pure skill, will and determination. If you knew what you were doing and executed it properly there was no opposition to force your plans. For Levey, that in and of itself was a nice way to take a break from having everyone seemingly trying to thwart him at every turn. That's what happened when you found yourself as the lone man at the top of any given spot though, and his seemed to be the top of half of Chicago lately.

He shook the mental cobwebs out and picked up his ball, a blue and white marbled thing, and ran a cloth over it. It would glide smoothly tonight, He knew it would. So he stepped up, briskly walked toward the line and released with a twisting of his wrist. As the ball flew down the lane Levey watched it crash into the pins. A strike. Maybe tonight was the night for 300.

Svent watched as GlitterGoddess tried to explain it wasn't a date. He shook his head, knowing they were being teased. The male learned a long time ago that trying to explain something while being teased, you usually dig yourself into a ditch.

When Glitter seemed to get her point across, she went to take her turn at the lane. Svent watched as she almost failed to let go off the ball. Normally this would be something he'd be amused by but the sound of the ball thumping onto the lane caused him to flinch internally. Her second turn kind of went better even though it was almost a gutter.

When it was his turn, she ran to him in excitement. It was obvious she was happy with her first turn. It made him wonder if he was ever that excitable when he was young, looking at all the new experiences in the same light.

Svent nodded as he shoved the thought to the back of his mind. He then went to take his turn. Without a seconds thought, he made his move. The bowling ball hit the pins dead center. Strike. He then returned to his seat.

After eating a delightful meal from Big Al, Zavi continues to take a morning stroll to burn off any extra calories. Her eyes are grown big with excitement when she notices Nazars Palace Bowling. She tries the door and to her delight it open.   She goes in to check it out, there were a few folks getting their morning bowl on.

The environment oozes nothing but fun. Zavi made a mental note to come back when she had some more time, perhaps with some company.  She was slightly bummed earlier when she found out her old bowling joint closed down a few years ago.  It's funny how things work she quietly muses, waving at the clerk on duty as she ventures back into the streets.

Luther and was looking for something to do. He had just ran into an old friend of his from grade school on the streets of Detroit and took some time off his day to catch up with a familiar face. Now to find a place for them to unwind and conversate. As if it was on cue, Luther read the signage that said "NAZAR'S BOWLING ALLEY" atop a tall tower.

"Hey Daniel, how about we do some more catching up tomorrow on this bowling alley? What do you say?" Luther inquired.

"Sure thing. Just give me a time and date and we'll have some motherfucking fun just like the old days, Lutzy!" Luther's friend yelled excitedly as they neared the alley's counter.

"Reservation for two please."

"Tomorrow."

"10:30 AM"

Long timesince last he played bowl, he came along with an old friends and they got in and took on bowling-shoes and also picked a a bowl to play with there the fingers suited perfectly, they also orders a beer both and the game was soon on, they both trained a couple of times before starting the game.

First roundwon his friend by 12 pins, and now they had started the second one and so far he had started this seerie with 2 strikes, it looked good since his friend so far hadnt any strikes here.

They won one each and they decided it was enough, now they both were up to a drink in the bar and sat there and talked a while, a really good time both had together.

It was already a quarter until 12. Daniel was nowhere to be found. Luther figured his friend's past would catch up to him but this was such an inconvenient time for him to get busted by the feds. He felt a little bit of guilt. Chances are if he hadn't invited Daniel to bowl, he might not have been arrested today. But well, consummatum est. It has been done. He might as well use his reservation for something productive.

He proceeded to occupy an alley and practiced his bowling skills. Strike. Strike. Strike. At the end of the test run, he managed to nab a perfect score.

"I'm not too shabby," he murmured to himself.

Luther walked out the alley feeling melancholic but he does feel a glimmer of hope in an objectivr: he'll take his friends to an expensive bowling alley at least once in the future and they are going to enjoy themselves.
