Aomame followed Constable Taradiddle_ to Manor Street and watched him knock on the door.  Unfortunately the sun was starting to come up.  It would probably mean that nobody would answer; the curtains and shutters were closed as if to say keep out.  She was unsure how effective the normally lazy Constable would be.  She had noticed that Sergeant Marlowe was significantly younger than the constable; obviously a high flyer but it was maybe the constable’s procrastination that was holding him back.  He didn’t seem particularly keen to just burst in the door.  Was it because of the Pinata Controversy?  Aomame made a mental note to follow that up.

She decided to maybe take matters into her own hands.  Don Eve of Eve’s Eve Crew was a big fan of amateur sleuthing so pulling on her best Nancy Drew expression she tied up Millefeuille and Clafoutis to the lamp post and sneaked around the property looking for a way in.  It would obviously have been less noticeable in the darkness but conversely there was less chance of detection by the occupants while the sun was up.

Aomame sneaked and snucked while Taradiddle_ knocked.  She could hear the echos as she hid behind a rhododendron bush wondering what her next move was.

She recalled a conversation from her time in Shibuya while she waited for a friend.  She had met a private investigator by the name of Dire Straitsake.  She remembered vividly his opinion of the profession

The whole thing is a mystery when it commences.  I make sure I get the usual fee as well as any expenses.  I find confidential information in a diary and I have to remind myself, it’s not a public enquiry.

He went on to describe his methods

I go checking out reports, digging up dirt.  You get to meet all sorts, in this line of work.  There’s always an excuse for the treachery and treason but when I find the reason, I can’t get used to it.

He was a lonely man when she had met him, the work had taken it’s toll.  What did he have at the end of the day?  He was sitting with a bottle of whisky, a new set of lies and a pain behind the eyes.

She had vowed not to get so deeply involved in whatever she did but in this case, with the life of someone on the line she should maybe be prepared to go in further.  She pulled the collar up on her turtle neck and headed towards the back door.

"So Savannah, tell me something, I don't wanna she I lying either..she gave up everything on a gamble of that man's word...and he betrayed her..everything she told us was her truth..now I need to go after Alexander..this house has the most powerful shield on it..so no one..and i mean no one can do a thing to you will I'm alive..but the clan likes play their dirty tricks, and I think its time we destroy that." He said, as he let Anya cling to her.

"Just let be with me..when she is like this I'm the only one she will trust...anyway..what I don't understand, is why alex would go through all of this for revenge..I think there is more to it that he didnt tell her." He said, as he grabbed Savannah and disappeared from the dungeon.

He then appeared in his personal space, and gently let Savannah go to get her babies, "Now then, next target I will catch..and will do just as much damage, but what I want to know is what was with that old connection I felt down there." He said.

"What do you mean dad?" Raven asked.

"Well, the more I tortured her, it was like her sister was getting life." He said, as he walked over to the wall.

"Huh?" Noel raised a brow.

"Listen, I think something is going on their surpressing it." He said, as they nodded.

"Well that much I can tell..I also know the clan is moving about,  as for what they are doing i have no clue." Noel said.

"I do..they are changing schedules...the guards switches out every hour..and then the arrows get changed every ten menutes as in instead of holding the same arrow, they change it to make sure it isn't corroding with the weather." He said as they gasped at his information.

She frowned as she wrapped her arms around his neck, vanishing from the dungeon "Alexander has told her alot of things and he also knew that she would get caught."

Turning her head towards him  " This the thing i was picking up a strange wave pattern from her as if some one was reading her thoughts and was enjoying her suffer from the torture.  Even as she collapsed from the pain the waves was still there"

She looked around her room as she went to the cribs, running her fingers over the soft black fluff of hair on the girls heads

"Vez, that night of my birthday, when we met. Earlier that evening i was attacked out in the forest  by Alexander but Gregori found me in time, and  took me back home. My father went crazy and set up a search party to find this bastard,  his warriors found a cave and inside there was dead bodies chained to the walls  and thrown to the floor. With their bodies cut open in the most hideous ways know to man"

Walking over to the desk and pulled out her fathers old diary, handing it to him "This is everything my father had gathered on Alexander"

"Yeah...something tells me it wasn't Alexander..Because he would die and fight for her..she means everything to him..so I think it was someone else...this person feels more familiar than you think..this would be someone who has had something done to them by her or them..this person feels good..Because theu feel like the woman deserved it." He said, not holding anything back.

"Yeah I know..but i have more..i was there that night with your father....in fact i was the guy undercover helping him get in." He said sadly, as he sighed.

"I have over twenty four thousand books on him, nothing new from that diary that I don't already know." He said, as he still took the diary anyway.

"Yeah I sent gregori to you...i see everything Savannah..but one thing that bothers me is..who is the main head boss over all of this...who would know about me the most..i need to go investigate soon..the more I think about it...the more it makes me worried." He said, as  he looked at her giving a slight pause, "but i do know what you mean..it gets pretty weird when im torturing her." He said as he walked over his desk.

She looked up at him "You were there that night when i was attacked by this man? who is it and do i know him or them " shaking her head as she frowns, rubbing her temples from the sudden pain in her mind...."You could be right and that they are trying to over take Alexander for power." Thinking more...

"Totally strange, that a stranger would come and try something right under his nose "she chuckled and shakes her head but was still a little confused by it all "

"How do we find this boss? there must be a clue in the paperwork them"

"Yeah i was there..but one problem..we never got to see him..although he loves the dark..he is an immortal but..of what species i have no clue..I also know he part human as well..I also know he has a human female always with him...its never the same female." He said, as he looked at her freaking out, he chuckled shaking his head.

"But honestly..don't think he was the top boss..I think he was someone showing as the top boss..that's the only thing..even their closest men had never seen him..but what got me was..how they used thrm to move around..because this vampire can't go out in the daylight..unless he has shade..but the hybrid that was losing as the boss..but not actually the top boss can..and he knew things..things that he shouldn't have known..which makes me think he isn't young in age..meaning he either is getting information from the real boss..or he was there witj the real boss." He said giving out more information, as he walked over to the stuff.

"Apparently the only one who can find this boss is me..because where ever I go he shows up..no time flat..the guy can disappear and appear like me through out the ages..the only thing is he isnt as powerful as he thinks..if i wanted to i could probably mess with his plans in one fell swoop." He said giving an evil grin.

Paul was trying hard to prove himself to the new gang he had started running with. After much coercion, he had managed to secure permission to call him an associate of the Eve crew but without bringing in a steady stream of income, he knew he wouldn't last long. It was dog eat dog and Paul had to show he wasn't allergic to canine.

After lifting a purse from an old lady, he was pleased to find two other marks seemingly oblivious to his approach. One of them, a skinny male with a pasty complexion, was divulging plans about how he could appear throughout the ages with an evil grin on his face. The other, a skeletal-thin woman whose wild hair sprayed out behind her like a bowl of dropped spaghetti, seemed completely enamored with him, chuckling whilst also still looking quite confused and shaking her head.

"This is perfect," Paul whispered to himself as he approached. They were so caught up in their own jazz that it was no trouble at all for him to quickly slip his hand into Pasty's hand and withdraw his velvet purse. He flipped it open and was disappointed to find only pictures of Premier in there. "Rats," Paul muttered, slipping the purse back into Pasty's skinny jeans.

Neither noticed him. 

She grinned as her eyes went dark, listening to him but freaking out inside a little "But how are we to find this fucker?" tapping her fingers upon the chest of drawers, thinking hard for a moment" oh my god, you say that he has powers. Can he blend in with people? Why i ask this is because there is someone that does this on the manor grounds in a house in the forest."

Walking towards him as she placed her hand upon his chest and looked up into his eyes "This male has a female companion with him always and i've seen her within the manor snooping around" 

Looking over at Phury "you know i mean don't you"

"Yeah..but anyone can do this..this guy was a bit weird..he is about average height..unlike me..he can't change his size, although I'm surprised by that."He said as he looked back and thought about it a little.

"It could be a look like but not really him..I have only seen him once..but I barely remember because I was under heavy experimentation, is what I will call it..but I highly doubt he would stay im here, considering that would be too risky even for him..this guy is just as good as me when it comes to taking things out..he shows no mercy, if he was here, would start to disappear..as in me?" He said, smirking without humor.

"Dad..do you mean?..he can blend in with people as in like you he can make himself look like anything or anyone?" Raven asked as he nodded.

"But unlike me he has a after effect from it...since it'd not his legally..he bleeds a lot...whether he coughs it up, or  it comes out of some part of his body every time he transforms..its extremely painful, and since it was stolen the pain never let's up over time." He said, as he looked at her.

"Ouch..so you are saying, unless he gets permission from the person he took it from, he will always have to beer that pain?" Revenge asked.

"Yes..it was little gift for the immortals to have revenge in case they ever died from such experiments." He said, as Raven gave a soft smile.

She looked at the guards "I want you to go and work with Vishnu, get him to work on that security as soon as possible. Plus check around the grounds to see if there are any hidden spots that have missed cause if i'm right this guy is close by but we can't see him." frowning as she was lost in deep thought..Kass raised her head calmly.

"Kass, keep your senses open as soon as you pick something up " She purred and went back to sleep 

Savannah looked at Vezux, "I got Kass to listen out for any movements upon the grounds, her hearing is more sensitive than mine" biting her bottom lip"

Aomame sat still in the rhododendron bush her slight frame sheltered by the branches.  She tried to channel the sleuthy deduction skills of her idle idol Don Eve of Eve’s Eve Crew.  Plucking up the courage she walked towards the back door, stealthily sneaking, tiptoeing like a badly acted villain when she stepped on a twig.  The snap echoed round her head like a glass dropping on a marble library floor and she froze, rooted to the spot.

She tried the back door and as was to be expected in a house occupied by people who could levitate others and all other unworldly things she found it locked.  Can’t have anyone finding out about these things she thought.  She pulled a convenient hair thing from her head, she tried to pick the lock when a blood sucking noise from behind the door made her freeze again.  The sound went away so she tried again, then the sound came back.

Constable Taradiddle_ what are you doing? she whispershouted hoping his hearing would pick it up.

I’m trying the doorbell but I can’t hear anything he whispershouted back

I can hear it, it sounds like a vampire noise she whispershoutreplied.

OK PHEW. STILL NO ANSWER he shoutwhisperreplied.  Ooops sorry, wrong way he whispershoutreplied again.

A wiggle and a woggle of the hair thing in the door finally caused it to open and Aomame stepped inside.

"That is actually a good idea Savannah...and I will have to make sure pur guards move about..they will only stand guard for all of three hours a day or night, because they will need time to train..also i won't always take the same guards..we will never keep the same schedule..so please remember to keep your schedules memorized as soon as I tell you it..I'm telling you this now because i don't want our enemy to figure it out, and find away in or try anything also..those of you who doesn't have a weapon will be training with me and will get one today..those of you who do, will begetting an upgraded weapon." He said, as they spoke their yes sir.

"Now then Savannah you will train with me today..I will take it easy on you..if you wish me too..the kids will learn moves amongst themselves, for a bit while you are fighting me." He said softly, as the kids cheered, he then looked over at the personal bodyguard.

"You will get upgraded training as well, as of right now all the training you have is useless..and i won't go too easy on you, considering your personal body guard, but I won't kill you either, i will make sure you have breaks." He said, as she nodded as he gave out his orders.

Savannah smirked at her love "oh you want me to try and kick your ass then my love, so be it "cracking her knuckles and winks at him, then sends him a link "does that include in our room as well " Kass laughed in her mind.

Watching and listening to her Raven and Noel cheer "Oh your father never told you of our training fights huh" she began to laugh as she was happier than ever before. Walking over and hugged his back gently, wrapping her arms around his waist "I don't know what it is about you my love but i feel calmer on times."

That made him laugh, as he listened to her, "I mean that is bow training works..ahem..but uhm oh too funny..but seriously though no slacking off, or it could always go into ruins,Alex is very quick about things like this." He stated, giving them a warning.

"Man..I can't wait to see mom and dad get into action while practicing." They whispered among themselves, he chuckled.

"I bet on Dad..you Anya? Raven asked her little sister.

"I think we would both lose if we bet on either of them." she spoke earnestly, but still teasing, he shook his head.

"You two are ridiculous...don't gamble on your parents." Rhages wife said, as they all laughed making a scene of happiness for him.

As he watched he saw they all jump in teasing and yelling and arguing at each other, and for the first time he laughed from his heart. As he laughed, he showed his dimples, he couldn't help but laugh,which made Anya laugh for the first time as well, shpwing jer won dimples off.

"I agree guys with your father, we mustn't slack off " Savannah tried to keep a straight face as she heard the kids take bets on them both. Shaking her head and winks at Raven. 

Looking at Anya and Vezux and seeing the likeness they had between them with the tiny dimples that they shared "Aww you pair are so cute with the dimples"

She bit her lip as she heard the laughter of happiness before joining in, leaning up and kissed her king softly  upon his neck over his bite mark.

Then both blinked at the same time, as they realized they had dimples, he cleared his throat shaking his head, he was called cute and with his daughter, he gave a soft smile as she kissed his neck, on the bite she gave him, that he hadn't healed yet. 

"Anya..tell me what do you know how to do?" Raven asked, as she looked at Vezux, looking for his blessing to do so, he nodded.

She hopped down, as she disappeared to the training area, "ypu wanted to see..she won't do it here..it will bring damage to you all, just as i would to you as well..follow me to the training grounds outside." He ordered as he disappeared to the training grounds as well.

He waited as they all seemed to appear on by one, and going to sit at the seats like it was a stadium, as he stood there he looked to see raven in the stands cheering for her, he smiled as Anya looked shy, "Anya when they all appear i will give you the order to get started and I will do it with you." He said as she cheered at the thought.

She giggled as she saw the smile he gave her, watching him shaking her head "It's true my love, you do look cute when you show them dimples" as she walked away vanishing only to appear upon the seats to watch Anya train with her father. Wanting to learn what powers that she had, pulling Raven and Noel to sit next to her.

"Park your butts kids and watch then learn because i want you to up your training understand me " rubbing her back  as she felt a stretching of the muscles

He saw that everyone was there, and saw Savannah appear next to the kids, he looked back at Anya and nodded, she then closed her eyes whispering her change to unlock her powers that her father did for her so she could learn control. She allowed her powers to reveal itself, as the wind moved around.

Light began to light up around her,  as Vezux nodded at the level of her power in approval. As she opened her eyes, her hair was long and it was down to the middle of her back, her eyes dull just as his was, her feet were bare her clothers was torn robe of darkness, and blue puffed out pants she looked like she came from something of like the eastern desert, as he saw everyone gasp in appraisal. He then closed his eyes as his transformarion started, but it was a small one, his uppers body covered in purple and gold chains of power but they were still at her level, we wore a gold and purple long robe like coat, the bottom looked to be like it was moving but it was in shreads down at his feet. His pants were purple and gold, his hair down to the floor, white as the moon. Were of a purple and gold, the whites of his eyes black. As he transformed the winds blasted out giving off a huge pressure of power showing his power and rank of all gods, his daughter held a small and less powerful god of all rank as well.

"I am gonna start Vezzy." She said Robotic like, as Vezux had something appeared over his mouth, so it wouldn't seep out.

She disappeared, and appeared running fast towards him then he swun . his sword, as blast of power blasted out, as she appeared when their swords crashed.  He then put his sword away, as they kicked and hit, they went up, he pulled his sword again, as he disappeared, a low growl came out of their mouths, as he swung his sword again, another blast came out as their swords touched, making the winds blow around shpwing off how powerful they were.

Watching the pair fight, feeling the power even from where she sat. Gasping with the shake of her dark hair as the kids watched with a surprised look upon their faces "Your powers aint that strong yet and to be honest i have no clue what you can do my angels" she chuckled as she went back to watching the pair with interest.
