"You know, I really don't like flights." Hall said.

The bodyguard's underwhelmed voice tinged with a fear of uncertainty and perplexity as he looked at the Douglas DC-3 that sat in front of him, along with his partner, Oates.

"Well, we don't get paid to sit and worry. It's not like the plane is a maneater. These things are built pretty well.. or so I've heard." Oates replied in a droll manner, shifting the large package from his right hand to his left.

"You just had to add that last line, didn't you? Thanks for the reassurance, buddy." Hall snapped sarcastically, darting a worrying look around the frame of the plane, as if desperately looking for a fault that would cancel the flight altogether.

"Stop bickering, you two. We'll be in and out of this thing before you know it."

The voice was ZeroSeven's, who was accompanied by DonnaMatrix, both looking unamused and filled to the brim with boredom as they stood by the plane as they had been for the last half hour. As if it seemed like an eternity, a figure emerged from the plane, whom Zero recognized as his bodyguard and amateur pilot, Garfunkel.

"Sorry for the delay, guys. We were worried a cell might develop on our track course, but that's not an issue anymore. Head on in, and we'll take off in ten."

The small crowd entered the hatch as they were greeted with the strong smell of leather and wood that was permeating the plane; Tanned leather covered each seat accompanied with a thin but manageable amount of wood that plated the floor. Luxury interior or not, Hall nervously took his seat in the back while Oates handed the package to ZeroSeven before taking the seat beside Hall, attempting, but failing, to console him. With Donna and Zero taking the front of the plane for themselves, they glanced at the soapbox sized package irritably, giving it a look of disdain, almost as if it was loudly taunting them in ambiguous silence, knowing that the contents inside weren't privy to their eyes. The curiosity around the box's contents remained unknown, and all one could do at that point aside from breaking a direct order was to simply speculate, if anything at all.

"Well, at the end of the day, the paycheck we're going to get after this is all that matters. And the wine we'll be able to take home, of course." Donna offered consolingly in response to Zero's clearly frustrated look.

"As much as I'm a sucker for a good pinot noir, you can't tell me you're not curious about it, too. This thing is four times as heavy as the drugs we usually smuggle across the country, and we're going out of Saint Louis and out of country for it.. All the way to the heart of Europe? I don't know, it's just.. odd, to me." he responded in kind.

"True. But hey, maybe we'll get lucky in Rome! Then again, for all we know, we might be carrying Pandora's box." she replied, glancing out of the window at the empty runway.

"I guess you're right, but this entire thing just seems pretty sketchy to me. I can use the mini vacation though, I guess." Zero said with a hint of optimism in his voice all the while resting his head on the leather cushion, closing his eyes to ponder on the situation that brought him and Donna here in the first place. To return a favor that Joey_Cesari had once owed to a Godfather in the homeland, he had sent Donna and Zero as personal couriers to the package that sat in front of them on almost no notice. While the details were scarce, even to the Godfather himself, he had the utmost confidence in his old acquaintance, and with the incentive of a large payday for all three of the participants involved, who was he to deny a returned favor to an old friend for a no strings attached paycheck that simply involved dropping off a package?

"Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Clear?

"Clear!" Another figure responded, this time being Garfunkel's accomplice and now co-pilot, Simon, who was grinning proudly while looking at the intercom speaker on the plane.

"This is your captain speaking. We'll be taking off in five minutes. As a precaution, please put on your seatbelts and brace yourselves for lift-off, or you're not going to be feeling too groovy after we leave the runway."

Fewer than 10 minutes later, the plane was in the air, along with Hall's antics. "I'm in the air, I'm IN the AIR!" was all that was heard for the better part of half an hour, sometimes hysterically, sometimes defeatedly, and at other times quite morbidly.

"Would you rather us spare you the misery and toss you out of this plane now? We can have you back on the ground in about two minutes. You'll be a bloody pulp of your former self, though." Donna responded sharply, giving him a look of death that accompanied a dark cynical smile. The not-so-veiled threat seemed to have worked, as for the next sixteen hours of flying, landing, refueling and flying again not a sound was uttered from either of the two, instead being replaced by the steady updates of Garfunkel between enjoying the gorgeous scenery that accompanied them through the flight across the mid-eastern United States, to the coastal cities, and finally through the seemingly endless Atlantic Ocean. After going through The Picture of Dorian Grey and conversing with Donna from everything to politics to the perfect martini to the mundane to keep their minds off of the package seated opposite them, the intercom was activated by Garfunkel for what would be the final time.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I've been called many things in my life. I've been called a rock. I've been called an island.. Hell, I've even been called Mrs. Robinson from back in my crossdressing days. But an exhausted pilot would probably describe me best right now. I'm happy to announce that we approach our final destination - Rome. Unfortunately, we're approaching some heavy rain, so brace for landing, because this runway is like a bridge over troubled water!"

While it was a rather bumpy ride down to the runway, the plane had at last landed in Rome; Home of the Vatican, capital of the Kingdom of Italy and the birthplace of the Roman Empire. Grabbing the package and getting out of the plane behind Donna, the group was greeted by heavy rain, nearly drenching the entire crew if it were not for the quick hands of Simon who had prepared umbrellas for the venture outside.

"Joey said there was supposed to be a few cars waiting for us. Where the hell are they?" Zero questioned rather grudgingly. He had already had his fill of rain in Saint Louis over the weekend, and wasn't happy to meet the same end in Rome.

"Oh, that'll be our job. We'll be back in a few minutes to fetch the cars. Don't get too wet. " Hall said magnanimously, apparently in a much better mood now that his feet were on the ground. The blonde haired man jogged off with Oates, umbrellas in hand until they were no longer in clear sight. After waiting what seemed like twenty minutes in grueling rain, two black Lancia Augustas pulled up to the remaining group, who were by now, for better or worse, soaked. Taking off his coat and shaking his head of water, Zero entered the backseat with Donna, with Simon taking the drivers seat adjacent to Garfunkel, who, after almost a day of flying, was exhausted, leaning back in the passenger seat. Starting the engine once more, Simon turned to look at the two behind him.

"So, where are we heading, exactly?"

ZeroSeven turned to DonnaMatrix, who had already pulled out a large map of Italy from her seemingly infinite spaced purse.

"Well, you're the one with experience around these parts. Lead the way, Donna."

Report Post Tip

Donna gives ZeroSeven a sideways look as if to say she's already on top of it.

Struggling to keep the map dry from the droplets of water coming from her hair, she gives directions to the Godfather's mansion in the Lateran Place district. Folding her map back into place and slipping into her purse, she barks at Simon as she gets jerked around in the back seat due to his driving.  She scolded him for driving like an idiot through the airport runways, worried they would be run over by one of the monstrous machines.  He laughed back at her and replied, "Don't worry Miss Donna.  I am a rock! And I will guide us through this hazy shade of winter.  So sit back and relax. Enjoy the sound of silence"

Donna glances at ZeroSeven. “Your body guards are a bunch of hippies Zero. “

An exhaugsted Garfunkle responds with a smirk, “This is what you get when you go to look for America, Simon.”

Donna glares at the back of Garfunkle’s head, and Simon glances back while laughing, catching the death stare and quickly cuts off his laughter and gets back to being serious.

”Pay attention to where you’re going, Simon.  Driving in Italy is not an easy task, and I would not want to wreck this beautiful ride we’ve been provided.

Looking over to ZeroSeven she notices that his attention is again focused on the package between them.  She had a bad feeling about it, whatever it was.  She couldn’t lie, her curiosities were peaked and she had been contemplating how to look inside of it. But she had her orders, and she followed orders.  So she kept her curiosities occupied by the scenery as they rode through the streets of Rome headed for the Lateran Place district, the location of the Godfather’s villa and drop off point.  She had been told that this Godfather owned one of the largest villas in the country, but she was not expecting it to loom on the horizon as it did. It was more like a mansion than a villa. As they drew closer, she noticed that the upkeep on the grounds had slacked as of late. She wondered if business was down in this area or if the Godfather had a more permanent residence. She would never be sure. She knew that she had dreams of living a larger life.  She hoped that this task would put her further into the Godfather’s favor.  As they pulled around the circular drive way and came to a stop at the front door, it immediately opened and her door was opened by what looked like a nervous cat.  The man was tall and thin and was openly nervous, his eyes darting back and forth and sweat beading on his forehead.   Donna glanced at ZeroSeven and pushed the package towards him.  She smiled at the man and waited as Garfunkle got out of the front passenger side and took the door from the butler.  Feeling safer having one of Zero’s guards there, she slid out and stood close to Garfunkle.

“Welcome to Torre di Cesare.  We have been expecting you.  Please move into the villa quickly!” the skittish butler said in a heavy Italian accent.  She appreciated that he was speaking English.  The northern dialect of Italian was hard for her to understand on her best days.  Turning towards ZeroSeven who had come up behind her, package under his arm, she waiting until he & Simon went ahead of her.  She knew that this was the old country and being a woman, she knew she had to earn her respect here the same way she did Stateside.

Report Post Tip

Zero nervously glanced at the circular driveway, enjoying an air of relief as the second Lancia Augusta pulled up containing Hall and Oates, who both quickly sprang out of their car and held their ground by the two vehicles, being careful to not meet the same fate the other group did by carefully holding their umbrellas over them.

"We'll be your eyes and ears outside. Good luck in there." said Oates optimistically, who then glanced at Hall.

"You alright, buddy?" he asked, concerned.

"Flight sickness.. and the running.. I feel like I'm going to - do you still have that flask? I need a drink and a quick decision." Hall replied sickly, hand on stomach.

ZeroSeven shook his head before heading into the villa, ahead of Simon with the package in hand, appreciating the decor that was inside. White marble floors were complemented with several paintings from Rembrandt to da Vinci. Whoever this man was, he displayed wealth - and obscene amounts of it. Accompanying the butler up the marble staircase along with Donna and Garfunkel, the nervous butler stopped at the entrance of a large, elegantly polished wooden door that had a large cylindrical golden doorknob. Giving the group a tense look, he choked on his words for but a second before offering a coherent sentence.

"As.. As I said, he's expecting you. He is quite capable in English, so you will not need a translator or anything of the like."

He opened the large door which revealed a large, burly man who was wearing a black suit, sitting in a large leather chair behind a mahogany desk. The man seemed pressed for time and slightly nervous, but he offered Zero and Donna the two chairs in front of his desk as Simon and Garfunkel took their positions behind the two before clearing his throat and beginning to speak.

"I hope the flight here was not too terrible. I am Fabian Cesare, Godfather of one of the 3 remaining families in Rome." Without giving a moment to allow for a reply, he continued, quite briskly.

"Right, the package. Did it travel safely?"

"Safe and sound." Zero responded, setting the large package in front of his desk to the side so as to be able to keep a view of the man. The man smiled as he relished in the package that sat in front of him, with an eager look on his face.

"I'll say, good work. This package will ensure that I never again have to wrestle power with the government, other families, or likewise. Well done to both of you. Now, as a token of my gratitude, I'll be sending you away wit-"

His words were cut short by a loud voice that was neither the butler, who had disappeared, nor Simon or Garfunkel.

"Arresto! Mani su!"

Fabian immediately raised his hands, while ZeroSeven, DonnaMatrix, Simon and Garfunkel followed suit. Walking in through the wooden door were four soldiers, all eyeing the group in the room with scrupulous suspicion. After a few brief seconds, Fabian spoke, with fear apparent in his voice.

"..Non parlano italiano. Americani."

The head soldier shrugged before beginning to speak, in now a very heavy Italian accent of English.

"I should have known you were planning something against the State, Fabian. With these four as your accomplices, with any luck you will be meeting a firing squad before dark. And what do we have here?"

His eyes set on the large package that was occupying Fabian's desk before pulling out a knife. However, thanks to Simon nervously twitching, he turned to him for a moment, eventually looking at all of the group minus Fabian. After a few seconds, he gave off a shrugged laugh.

"Most likely working on behalf of the Vatican. Unhappy with our arranged monetary settlement from our Lateran treaty, are we?"

Both Donna and Zero responded with a look of utter perplexity and confusion but did not respond, nor did the other two.

"Take them away!" he snarled at two of the soldiers, who proceeded to handcuff everyone in the group but Fabian, who was still nervously sitting in his office. Getting pushed outside of the door, Zero heard the officer switch back to Italian, posing an almost rhetorical question to Fabian. Being led down the stairs behind Donna and Simon while Garfunkel was behind him, the officers grunted before leading them through the front door before being interrupted by a scream that was recognized as belonging to Fabian.

"NO-"

The sentence was immediately cut off by a deafening explosion that had originated from the office they were in, rocking the villa with immense force and knocking both soldiers, Donna, Zero and Simon to the ground, with soot, smoke and fire building around the house that had once been in impeccable condition. Garfunkel shifted from side to side attempting to keep his balance, blood forming from his forehead, giving an exasperated moan of pain. One soldier was undeniably dead, while the second soldier attempted to regain his ground, only to be rendered unconscious by a well placed kick to the temple from Garfunkel. Groaning, DonnaMatrix blew her hair out of her eyesight before yelling in a hysterical and furious manner.

"Get the GOD DAMN keys or we're going to burn alive in this hellhole!"

Garfunkel replied by kneeling, using his mouth to fetch the key ring that was hanging from the dead soldier. After a few maneuvers, he made his way towards the three, finally unlocking the first set of handcuffs that belonged to ZeroSeven. Snatching the key and quickly unlocking the other three, he took the firearms that were on the bodies of the soldiers before quickly heading outside, the flames beginning to engulf what little was left of the house. Outside of the mansion, Hall and Oates were outside, handcuffed and shouting at each other.

"No, YOU'RE out of touch! You didn't see EITHER of those guards!" Hall yelled out, beside him.

"Speak for yourself! You didn't see them either!" Oates responded venomously.

"Shut up - both of you!" ZeroSeven said, quickly stepping over them and unlocking their cuffs.

"Reinforcements and police will probably be here before we know. We really have to get out of here. I'm taking over the wheel - get in the God damn cars!" Donna snapped, getting in the driver's seat while Hall and Oates quickly shuffled to the car behind them while Zero, Simon and Garfunkel climbed in the front and back seats respectively.

Donna turned the key in the ignition and roared the vehicle to life.  Looking in the back seat at Simon & Garfunkel, she sneered. She was more than angry.  Livid was more like it.  Slamming the car's transmission into gear, she stomped the gas peddle into the carburetor and flew out of the driveway.  Reaching the end of the drive, she quickly fishtailed left and started heading to the coastal area of Rome.  She had family friends there and she could only pray that their Deli was still up and running and friendly to their kind.  Turning her head to look at ZeroSeven, he was bleeding from his left temple and covered in soot & ash.  The look on his face was one of shock.

"Zero? What in the HELLwas THAT all about??" Zero just shook is head in disbelief. " I don't know Donna, I don't know.  It feels like we were set up."  Donna just nods in silent agreement and maneuvers her way through the streets.  Catching Simon's eye in the rear view mirror, she tells him to keep an eye out for tails.  She looked over to Zero once again, worried.  He didn't look his normal together self and that bothered her.  Hell, being in this situation bothered her.  They were thousands of miles and an entire ocean away from any known allies and their Godfather had to have no idea about what had happened.  She was mulling over all of this when ZeroSeven looked at her with a solemn face.

"We were almost assassinated Donna.  And no one back home would have ever known.  Our names would have been tainted and our family lines never respected again because no one would ever know the truth.  We have to find out who plot this.  We have to find out if it was meant for us or if we were just innocent bystanders.  We have to know before we can go back home."

Donna again nodded in agreement, "I know Zero.  Just sit back for now, I'm taking us to a place that is friendly & will give us a place to recoup, make some connections and hopefully find some answers." Donna nodded again at her friend, this time accompanying it with a smile. "I promise it's all going to be okay."

Turning her attention back to the road, she silently hoped that was a promise she could keep.

Cross had made plans months prior to return to Sicily and to finish his business in Rome. Cross a native of Sicily longed to return home to show that his father's son was a success. He calls the village begging them not to leave. Then he recalls his mother's death which broke his and his father's heart. That began the start of his father's change. visiting close connection to the Italian mafia after many business deals that have transpired over the years Cross was considered a mustache Pete back in America. However he loved making money with anyone that could find an angle to make quick cash. He understood the young turks ideology for dealing with anyone to make money but he was not impressed with their loyalties to their prospective families.

Cross along with some of his men toured Rome for several days while conducting business and making new connections. Unknown to him, that one of his closes allies and dearest friends had the unfortunate mishaps of coming within seconds of being killed. Cross was sitting in a meeting working on the objections that other partners had about their venture.
Leaving the Vatican after meeting with important men from all over the world; Cross was a little upset about the way he was treated. Angry about how things ran in Europe and the politics evolved as if he was unimportant in the deal that would require him taking must of the risk. He hated that they thought of him as a fisherman son in Rome. It was like being treated like new money in the aristocratic society in America. Thinking to himself; money is money who gives a dam when your family made it or where they made it.

Talking with a few of his capo's trying his best not to show any emotions about the meeting. Cross looks out the car window as they drove away heading into the center of Rome where there hotel is located along with several close by restaurants. Then out of the corner of his eye Cross spots a face that seems very familiar. He sit's up as they approach her as she is exiting her car. Cross yells

Stop the Car! I said stop the f'ing car!

Cross jumps out as he spots Donna. Surprised that she's there and startled at her appearance and then recognizing the expression on her face. He runs over calling her by name several times until she finally looks in his direction and notices him.

Hey Donna, it me Cross. What happen you look like you just went through hell and you want to get back there to finish kicking someones ass.

Levi hadn't been in Rome for some time. Not since he was a teenager. He had come over here to lay low for a while. He had wacked a guy and the police were snooping around and asking questions. So the boss had sent him over to Rome to stay with another family until the heat died down and it was safe for him to come back home. That was quite a while ago. He didn't have much of a urge to come back to the place. But ever since he had joined up with Cross and became his right hand man, that was all the guy talked about at some points. Either it was money, some punk guy he beat the shit out of or going to Rome. But now we were here and it was a beautiful country. We were driving in the car after the big meeting and I could see on his face that Cross was upset. They didn't treat him with the respect he wanted. It ticked me off as well because other than my first Boss I hadn't found a guy more respectable than him. My thoughts were then interrupted by Cross screaming for the car to be stopped...

Cross ran out of the car faster than anybody could follow and he ran to the woman. Levi recognized the woman as one of the upper structure of a St. Louis family. She was a good friend of Cross' and Levi had just come to know her better not long before they took off for the trip to Rome.

Boss I don't know if its so safe to stay here too long. I hear sirens off in the distance. We should get out of here while we still can. We can go back to the Villa and talk.

They all got in the car and pulled out into the street and drove off towards the villa that was lent to Cross for the visit to Rome. They pulled into the driveway where a few associates of the family were waiting for them. They got out of the car as the gates closed behind them and they made there way up the beautiful stone pathway to the door and walked through a couple hallways before coming to a big set of glass doors leading out into the vineyard.

I'd just like to say welcome to la casa de-Caprio. We can talk privately out here in the vineyard without interruption. Now, what happened back there? Why were you two in such trouble?

Report Post Tip

Donna turns around quickly at the sound of her name, not used to hearing much English spoken, it caught her off guard.  Relief crossed her face as she saw it was her friend & associate Cross-DeCaprio.  She wondered why he was in Rome, he had not made mention of leaving the country to her and they had spoken only days ago.  Dismissing the thought quickly as she still had the matter at hand, she turned to Zero and nodded.  Zero in turn nodded to Simon & Garfunkle, who pulled their hands away from their weapons.

Cross!! How odd to see you here, but it is a great relief! I don't have time to explain it to you now, but we're in a pickle!  Right now I'm looking for some old family friends but it seems they have disappeared.

Turning her head towards the small set of shops on the other side of the square, she could clearly see from here that there was no longer a deli shop, but rather a dress shop.  Turning back towards Cross, she sees TheLeviathan walking up.  She had recently made his aquaintances and felt comfortable enough to say she trusted the pair.  Another Lancia Augusta squealed up behind them, and Hall & Oates exited, looking like they were ready to kill each other. Shaking her head she turns back to Zero with an exasperated look.

Sirens in the backround were coming closer and closer.  They needed to ditch the cars they were in.

Zero, we need to ditch these rides.

TheLevithan and Cross ushered them into their rides and took them through Rome and to their villa.  Zero and Donna exchanged glances throughout the ride,  still rocked by their recent brush with death.  Poor Zero was still bleeding some from his left ear, and he looked in shock & exaughtested.  And in deperate need of a drink.  Pulling in front of a villa, Donna felt the weight of the day pressing down on her.  She desperately needed a drink and a bath.

Following Cross & Levithan, Donna leaned over to Zero and said softly, "Don't worry my friend.  These are friends of mine, and therefore of St. Louis."

Report Post Tip

He wiped some of the blood that had been on his face before nodding to Donna, giving off a deep shrug before kicking open the car door. Though the explosion had left him feeling as if his head was the baseball of one of Babe Ruth's recent home run exploits, he was surprisingly well aware of his surroundings. Holding the bleeding left side of his head, he slowly walked out of the car, giving a glance at Hall and Oates, who had now broken into furious argument.

"I'LL GO SOLO, JOHN. IT'D BE BETTER THAN CARRYING YOUR DEAD WEIGHT." Hall yelled at Oates condescendingly.

"You're a joke, Daryl. You'll come crawling back for a reunion once you realize you fail on your own. You don't even know how to use a rifle!" Oates responded, waving his arms back and forth.

"Will you PLEASE drop your arguing for one, single, solitary day? For the love of God, you two are like an old married couple!" Zero shouted, leaving both of them whipped in place.

"Good. Now, let's try this again: You guard outside. Don't argue with each other, and don't talk unless it's necessary. Keep watch. Can you do that?"

The two embarrassed bodyguards nodded before tending their posts by the villa as Zero followed Donna, signaling Simon and Garfunkel to follow suit. A simple shade of light orange hid the villa's surprisingly elegant inside, which contained hardwood floors, numerous leather chairs, antique coffee tables and the large redwood dinner table that hosted both Cross and Levi, as well as Donna, who joined them. Giving Simon and Garfunkel the signal to keep guard just outside of the dining room entrance, he took a seat next to Donna, who quickly handed him a lowball glass containing an amber liquid. While he quickly pondered the implications involving a head injury with mixing alcohol, he was in no mood to continue entertaining those thoughts. Drinking the entire contents of what he now realized was scotch with one large swig, he shook his head slightly before answering Levi's question.

"I want to thank you for your hospitality, first of all. We owe you in a big way - you likely saved our lives back there. I owe you two a damn good dinner when we're all hopefully back in the States, safe and sound. But to answer our question, essentially, we unknowingly delivered a bomb to a gentlemen who was, a half an hour ago, a Godfather. Now?"

He raised both of his hands up in the air.

"Needless to say, it was a trap, but not necessarily from him, I don't think. We were ambushed by Italian military, and by the luck of the draw, we had the privilege of being hauled out of the room that contained the bomb before the arrogant unit leader activated it unknowingly. The villa is in shambles, and likely in ruin - there's one thing that I'm missing, though, and I can't figure it out. It just slipped from my mind as fast as it entered. There was something weird about the entire experience.."

He looked to Donna, as if hoping she would finish his sentence. With a look of confusion on her face, he looked towards Simon and Garfunkel, who were just as perplexed as he was. Thinking for a moment, he began noticing the sweat that had started permeating his collar before it finally snapped back into his mind.

"..That butler! He was incredibly jittery throughout our entire exchange. He was twitching, stuttering, sweating, couldn't finish his sentences correctly. He was missing when the Italian soldiers broke into the room we were in. He wasn't anywhere to be found after the bomb exploded, was he?"

He turned to Garfunkel, the only one who had kept his feet on the ground during the blast, who shook his head.

"I knew there was something awkward with him!" Donna replied irritably, taking an aggressive drink of her scotch before slamming the glass down.

"That rat bastard. That place was large enough to escape from more than one exit, too - Hall and Oates must not have seen him leaving, or seen the soldiers approach from their line of view." Zero said, almost convinced that was the scenario played out.

"Tall, receding hairline.. an oily kind of guy, grey and black hair, long nose, sunken face - probably somewhere in his forties or early fifties? It's a long shot, but did either of you see someone matching that description on your travels before you ran into us?"

Report Post Tip

Cross notices the worry and sadness on the face of Donna. Knowing that Mr. Zero is important to her based off her emotions; Cross turns to his Italian bodyguard that his friends from Italy has assign to guide him around the country. The bodyguard only speaks Italian so Cross tells him.

Vai ottenere Helen ha un infermiere dirle di portare il suo nero. Roughly translated (Go get Helen she's a nurse, tell her to bring her black bag).

Cross then turns back towards them.

I have a nurse on staff here just in case I get sick but she should be able to help stop or control the bleeding. Her uncle is a friend of ours; She will know who to call.

Cross turns toward the staff and waves them over they immediately brings a cart to make drinks and handout refreshments. Cross turns back towards Donna

They speak a little English so please watch what's said, I don't know there true loyalties. Donna whatever you need that's within my power will be at your disposal.

Drinks are made and handle out along with finger sandwiches. Once everyone has been given some type of refreshment Cross nods at the head butler and he has all the servers move back into the house.

As I was saying I have friends here that hold power and they can gather whatever we may need as a favor to me. As for now you all need to rest up; we have plenty of space here. We are safe from the police here and I doubt if anyone will storm this place knowing that this place truly belongs to the local Don.

Helen arrives and quickly heads to Zero tending to his wounds. Twenty minutes later she walks over to Cross and whispers.

He has lost a lot of blood and will need to rest. There may be internal bleeding he may need x-rays to be sure. I have a friend for such emergencies but you will have to go to the local clinic at night. I can take you there if you wish.
Thank you I'll let you know. Stay here with us just in case.

Cross then relays the same message about Zero wounds to Zero and Donna then wait for there decision.
