| Building a better tomorrow. | Started by: DominicG on Sep 11, '19 16:00 |

A young gangster stepped out from the smoke placing down his soap box. Brushing it off with his hat as he placed it back on his head. Taking one step up on to it planting his other foot. He looked around the crowd with a grin. Clearing his throat before he spoke. "Good day my fellow gangsters. I am not coming out here today to talk about the events that had just transpired. Though with a heavy heart we have lost mothers, fathers, family members, and I would know this lose as I lost my father." Taking a moment placing his hat on his heart as he makes the sign of the cross. Returning the cap to his head and beginning again. "I am here to speak to you about tomorrow starting with today. We have had such destruction that we must push through and work hard to rebuild a new. Why continue to rehash the old when we can build something new, like a phoenix reborn from the ashes it is new. This is my call to action to all of you, build new stronger bonds so that we can push forward in this way of life. Honor our loved ones sacrifices so that they will be proud of us and the better tomorrow we will build. I know it is possible, my ancestors have dreamed of this day." He took a moment to look up smiling at those that came before him before continuing. "So I say this to you take some time with your loved ones tonight, for tomorrow the real work begins. The day we begin the better tomorrow." Smiling out to the crowd. |

Wednesday was lurking through the streets looking for a local shop that sharpened axes. It seemed her latest plaything... well, project she had been working on had dulled the blade. She stopped and listened with a scowl on her face as she glanced through the crowd to see who could be a potential new... project.. for her. As the man spoke the human in her appealed to the sense of wanting an opportunity for future... workshops as she called them with new friends. Less killing and turmoil meant more friends to.. entertain. Wednesday approached the man and stared blankly at him before speaking I do hope that this is the beginning of a less dreary time. It seems I stumbled upon these streets while they were in utter chaos. I like chaos. But I also like crafting and building things and then breaking them down and... well, it’s hard to continue to enjoy what I like to do if everyone is dropping dead around me. It brings cops and unwanted attention. Wednesday, realizing she was probably saying too much ran her finger across her ax blade to break her train of thought. Anyway, I hope that there will just be standard violence from now on. The kind of violence that you invite your family to. Or what’s left of them. But. I have to be off to the shop to have my ax sharpened. Unfortunately I’ve had to work with a lot of dull materials lately. But it sounds like that’s all about to change. Wednesday nods to the man before scowling at those around and wandering off. |

Charlie came out into the streets, rarely had he done so with the last few days. Ducking down and leaving it to the likes of Tammy and many others. The people who looked at him as the last of the so-called Spamlords, whatever that word meant. He missed having the likes of Itachi, Bella Lucian, GavinAndTaraByrne to help with those words and what they meant essentially "Indeed DominicG. We enter a new era and I am excited to see what comes out in the next few weeks. How it is going to be shaped? Time will tell. This is surely going to be an interesting time" Charlie smiled to himself, knowing that he had a few places to visit in the coming days. Many had died, it was time to pay his respects to the people who fought and gave their lives to this war. No matter which sides they had fought on, it was for what they believed in and what they had made. |

As DominicG started his speech, Tammy looked a bit sad.. She felt sorry for Dominic, who lost his father, but at the same time was saddened by the thought of her own father, her grandfather and her great-grandfather, who were all shot in the most recent war. She stood and watched young WednesdayAddams reply to Dominic, and Tammy recognized the dark-haired woman. Anyway, whilst speaking to Ms Adams, her dad seemed to be reassuring her that day.. As he had walked off Wednesday had seemed slightly more relaxed, but it had in fact been the last time Tammy had seen her father walk off. You are totally right, DominicG, but.. Where do we start, when you tell us to bond? Turning to Wednesday, she asked Shifting her look to Charlie__Pavanno, she found that he was wearing an awkward smile, as if.. he felt she had made a judgement about him. A judgement that she felt she had not made. Maybe she should invite him for coffee some day.. |

Larry had heard of a custard making course coming out of Boston. Boston was the greatest city on earth, home to the most talented individuals know to man so it made sense that the best custard came from there too. French Lick had many great attributes but it was Boston that Larry loved and Boston. The powers that be felt it necessary to curtail Larry’s ambitions and declared Boston a no-go zone so here he was, mooching about the streets when he caught the word custard. It was like catching a rabbit’s tail out of the corner of your eye; like the briefest of glimpse of panties when a woman uncrosses her legs in a short skirt…if you’re looking closely enough…allegedly. He hunted Tammy out. Excuse me miss, clumpless custard is the only custard available in Boston. Why would you want clumps in custard at all? |

Tammy smiled and turned around as someone seemed to recognize her voice from the custard-making-course that she had followed over an, unfortunately, quite unstable phone line very recently. Extending her relatively small hand, she looked up to Big Bird, and chose to invite him to her latest shop. Looking at you.. You are more of a latitude person than a longitude one, am I right? Did you know Boston and Detroit have the exact same latitude? Maybe you'd want to try my low-on-clump custard one of these days? The sensation of biting on a little clump is.. well.. sensational. Or in your terminology, it's Magic! Feel free to come to my new bakery in Detroit's Business District one of these days! I do feel we are going a little off-topic here, though. Although.. Maybe quality of custard is exactly the progress DominicG meant.. |

After raching out to this good speak he lights up a smoke and takes a walk back to the streets that more and more were populated which were very good for all and made him happier also. |

Oriana stopped to listen to DominicG as he exhorted the crowd to begin building. "A single question for you sir, if you please. You said that we should 'build new stronger bonds so that we can push forward in this way of life'; what do you mean by this? For those new to this society, how are these strong bonds best forged, in your experience?" |
