Was telling my daughter about my day when 9/11 occurred and the shock of watching things unfold watching a fuzzy small TV out on a jobsite.  Forever changed the world as we know it.

I have a friend her name is Emma.  She made it out.  To actually hear a chilling story from one who experienced it first hand is something else. 

Have neve rforgetthat awful day and all my tribute goes to all people involved in this horrifying thing happened that day.

My sincere and heart felt sympathies to those who lost loved ones on 9/11/2001.  This terrorist attack was one of my worst days and so many hurt by this senseless attack.  R.I.P.

I remember watching the planes crash into the buildings. I remember because I choose to stand up and enlist in the military as soon as I was 18. I got to fight in both OEF and OIF.

Husband and I had our car break down that morning.  We walked to a friend's house nearby to call a tow truck.  While waiting I sat down in her living room and looked at the TV and asked her what movie she was watching.  Just then the second plane crashed into the towers.  I thought it was an action film.  From the kitchen, she tells us that it's just old ER reruns ... I realize then that the station had cut to actual live news and that it was really happening.  It was so surreal.
