All along King st. shops of all variations sat lined up on either side of the road like toy soldiers. Neatly lined together by the architect's eye, they were made alive by the people coloring them, and adorning their signs with brightly colored bulbs dotted here and there. Mostly it was the sound. The sound of everyday life in the city. Cars blowing their horns in protest, a pack of kids darting along the sidewalks, men barking out the specials of the day, and that of course, their wares are the cheapest around. Life always takes on a vibrant feeling after so much death.
You pass a Butcher's Meat Market, then Sal's Produce Stand, where the kids have made a game out of trying to distract Sal long enough to snatch a ripe red apple from his cart. A small child no older than 5 bumps against you then tips his cap.
"Sorry, sir."
He darts away, and you immediately clutch your right pocket, around where he bumped into you, and whip around in the direction he ran. You blow a sigh of relief. Everything is there, but there's something more. The kid left a note.
Your suit looks like garbage.

Lucky's Olive Oil. Back door.
You look down, and well, the kid ain't blind. You make your way over to the back of Lucky's Olive Oil and there's a single wooden door with the letters "BHD" stenciled in black block letters. You shrug, and knock on the door. Knock knock knock.
You hear footsteps behind the door. A pause. Then the door whips open.
The gentleman is laughing. Crows feet crack at his eyes, and a single tear rolls down between the valleys then down his cheek.
Yeah I pay the kids to drop the notes. I pay Sal for the apples too. I'm not standing on the street like a smuck selling soap with a prize in the middle. Not to mention all that gun play recently. Not as inviting as those apple, huh? But, I have acquired some hand made New York suits, and I'm letting them go at one helluva price. By the looks of it you need one, and came to the right damned place.
Mr. Luciano hands you a business card.

Give that number a ring when you got the funds, because you damn well need a suit. Stop by my different locations too! I hang up some of the suits so you can get an idea or what I provide.
Mr. Luciano shuts the door.
