Joseph makes his way down the main avenue of the Old City District. His American Austin struggling as he comes to the end of his long gruelling journey. It'd been years since he'd been back in the US. He had one objective and it was to find his brother. They'd left together to complete a job for Luckies. However, when things soured Joseph took 3 bullets protecting his brother and ensuring that he'd be able to complete the job. He didn't blame his brother for his abandonment over the border. It wasn't his fault. Joseph himself believed he was dead in the water. By some miracle, he recovered. Spent his time in Canada doing jobs and earning his money so that he could survive the search. It wasn't pleasant but a necessity. He'd received word that his brother had left their home city and travelled to Phillie and so he decided it would be there that his search would begin. He only prayed that he'd find his brother and that Luckies kept his word and paid him instead of giving him a pair of cement shoes and a trip to the bottom of the closest river. All he wanted now was to reunite with his blood. He made his way to a street light and stuck a paper on it. It read: "Looking at Letters, With a small Walker Brand logo on the top and the rest surrounded by information regarding a poetry group at the address of where he would be staying, a room above a little watering hole. He made back to the car took his things and made the last part of his journey on foot placing a paper, abandoning the trashed vehicle. |
