"You're kidding me, right? You want to rob the bank!? You're shitting me, right? That takes planning...what makes you think that you have what it takes?"

Charlie felt the glare of his own son on him, was this how it felt to be back in the streets again. He never understood that, yet he felt like he was back in Midas. Now that would have been a trip, he decided to approach the situation differently than before.

"Well, I have some assistance..."

Mael scoffed, his father had no one. He had him and a few fucking goons, most of them didn't even know the difference between a stick and a baseball bat. It was embarrassing and that was coming from a twenty-year-old who had a craving for Oreo Milkshakes.

"No you don't, who's going to help you? We have the same old people that we had before, what makes you think that you can pull this off, huh?"

Charlie raised an eyebrow. It seemed like his son was beginning to question his own skills in this life. Now that was something, he was sure that out of both of them, he had been the one to gain them a lot throughout his life. He would show his son again if necessary.

"I think you're forgetting who gave you so much. You have to trust me with this, I got some people, a woman, I think her name was Billie Frechette. She works out of Philly, could be a good contact."

Mael shrugged, he knew that his father had given him much..but to trust an outsider, that was big. Times had changed and people became so different with time, how much had his father changed? He wondered.

"Invite her to the compound then, let's see what she can do....if she meets the good part of this job. We take her along and see if can't make her one of the bad guys, eh?"

Charlie shook his head, his son and his fascinations with movies needed some fine-tuning. He was not going to get into it, making a call and deciding to see if this Billie was available for some work.

Billie had just sat down to have some lunch when the phone rang. She thought about not answering it but by the third ring, she had already picked it up.

With a sense of frustration in her voice "Hello, Frechette residence."    After a short pause a deep raspy voice came over, "Hi, Billie? I don't know if you remember me. but this is Charlie. We met a while back at a bakery in Vegas."

Thinking back about that trip, Billie struggled to remember. She was in Vegas to have fun and get her mind off of losing so many family and friends recently. There was a lot of alcohol involved in that trip and some memories she'd like to erase from her mind, but she vaguely remembered the name'Charlie'.

"Uh, yes.....yes I believe I do remember you Charlie.  To what do I owe this pleasure?"

Billie listened as Charlie made a little small talk.  They caught one another up on the happenings of the past couple of weeks and Charlie asked, "Billie, would you be interested in assisting in a bank job?"

"A bank job? " replied Bille.

"Yes, more along the lines of making a large, somewhat forceful withdrawl!"

Billie's heart sped up and thoughts started racing through her mind.  This could eliminate some debts. This is also very risky.  I mean....if we get caught, I would go away for a long time.

"What exactly are your plans, Charlie?  How is this going to go down?"

"Ah, I have your attention now? Well, that's the thing....a bank heist like this...it's going to take some muscle. I just want to make sure that you can handle this, judging by your enthusiasm, I'd say that you're ready to make money."

Charlie sighed to himself, sitting down as he poured himself a glass of scotch. He needed it now, this job was going to be stressful. A job like this, it always brought more danger than he really thought necessary, there was a lot of shit that could go wrong.

"Well...my plans are to get rich obviously lass. Then again, I do think you're talking about the bank job itself. I'll get right into that."

Charlie chuckled to himself, knowing that now was not the time for it. Only he needed it for now, bank jobs and heists, in general, brought him back to the days where he had always made cash and made some friends...it was a big thing. Jobs like this, it gave him the rush that he needed and right now, he was looking for it again.

"I've been scoping out a joint, now I've had some people posted there for a while. This type of thing, I've been ready for months, now is the time for action. Planning can only take you so far."

Charlie spoke into the phone, already hearing a hum of interest and he guessed praise? With Billie, he could never tell. Now here he was, ready to bring her in on something that guaranteed them millions, it was a big job and he hoped she was ready for it.

"Now, the plan is to go in dressed as guards and take the money, make sure we're all good and such. We even have a federal truck prepared to take most of the loot. We need an extra pair of hands, that's all there is to it but we've heard whisperings, something about this job. It's making us feel a bit iffy, we wanted an extra pair of hands with us and we wanted that to be you lass, what do ya say?"

He spoke with his usual care, the tone was friendly enough. He did not know Billie well enough. So Chuck decided to take that route, it was up to her now...there was danger and then there was money.

"Millions you say? Hmmmmm, this day and age a person could buy the world with that kind of money! Count me in Chuck!"

Billie started thinking about all the things she could do with that kind of cash, mentally spending already. Before her mind could drift too far away,"Great" said Charlie, "I just had a feeling you'd be onboard."
"I've always daydreamed about doing something like this but never had the courage to actually do it" Billie said.
"I've done many. This will be fairly easy with enough people but dangerous none the less."
"Yes, yes of course. I have a friend who is an officer. They are using these new vests that can protect someone from bullets. I'll see if he can get us a few. Those could come in handy if something goes wrong."
Billie started thinking about when she worked at Detroit Trust and Loans. The federal trucks would always bring more cash on Fridays, as most people would be cashing their weekly paycheck. The best time to hit a bank would be early. If we got there right after the cash drop off, there would only be 2 guards and 1 bank manager. The other employees would be there for another hour! This would be perfect.
"Charlie, it's funny that you thought of me when planning this job. I know a few insider secrets. I used to work at Detroit Trust and Loans."
Billie proceeded to tell Charlie the details. He was baffled by this information. "I knew there was something about you that just felt like you were meant for this job" Chuckled Charlie.

Charlie sighed, knocking back the drink of scotch. This could have been a big toss-up, it was between her and Pyro. That man was not yet trusted him and neither was the lass on the other end of the phone. Now he had some things that needed to get done. This job would take some time, he decided to chuckle, there was something he liked about her.

She had a spark within her, something about her rung true. She was someone who wished to make some moves, it was there with the way she was so ready for it. A job of a lifetime, millions indeed gave them so much and this was that chance. Giving them so much, a bank was the next best thing and he already had that one 12th Street Jewel heist. His younger days, back when he had something to prove, now he was just looking to secure something for his people.

"Hm, Billie, come over. I'd rather not have any other types listen on these phone calls, you know where we are. South Philly as per usual."

Charlie hung up, turning back to his son who watched with a grin stretching his lips. It was almost like his son was a little surprised and he had heard of some of the business.

"Billie, what a woman with some spunk, she's got the fire in her. I'll give her that, now come on. Tell me about this bank job, how have you gotten this in your head?"

Charlie smirked, walking over to his son as he poured them each a glass of scotch. He turned his head, remembering back to the failed golden grin casino heist.

"Adventure and Excitement, what else Mael? Wait for her to arrive and let's see what mischief we can get up to my son."
