Catalina stood slowly. When she grasped the other woman's hand, she held it firmly as she spoke.

"Genevieve, you've been more than accommodating. I think we can work something out here. If Charlie feels it's in his best business interest to have rail lines added for the sake of Philly, we can work out those details easily enough," she smiled.

"Continue sending product to New York, and I'll want anything you come across, regarding the Mastrosimones," she said, not giving up the 'why' of it. Gen and her Italian supplier didn't need to know where Catalina's loyalties rested, not yet. Not until Catalina knew she had the wherewithal to do something about this Casto person.

"Can we move forward on this? Speak to your father, see if he's ready for his little girl to wear the big shoes. Charlie will consult his money men and contact you with any plans and figures. I can have the first half of your new salary wired today, if we're in agreement," she said, giving Genevieve's hand a gentle squeeze. 

"What do you say?"

Gen nodded and sighed relief. She squeezed back and then opened the drawer in her desk, pulling out a bottle of champagne. She peeled back the foil and popped the cork herself.

"To new business." She said as she poured. "And to contacts in the FBN. May Catalina's reign be long and prosperous." She handed a glass of champagne to each of them in turn before taking one. "I know my source very well and she won't let us down, she hasn't yet. She says that one of the agents actually was working with Will Byrne too. used to be on his sister's detail, so I'm sure I can get him to come talk to you, give you all the dirt he has on the family. You tell me when to arrange the meeting and we will get you the ammunition you need to take the rest of the city Godmother."

She giggled then a little bit. "Hope that's not too presumptive of me." She winked and then took a sip of her champagne.
