Cassiopeia walks outside, her arm wrapped around Ramone's tightly. She was counting on him to provide much more support than she normally needed, for it had been a sad and most unusual day. Her sunglasses kept her blood shot eyes hidden as she scanned the crowd, who was still murmuring after Cherokee's speech. She felt Ramone's hand on hers and it brought fresh tears to her eyes. She squeezed his hand before releasing her arm and stepping forward.

First of all I must say, I have mixed emotions about this. It's never easy losing a leader and friend and sometimes even harder knowing you must step up and try to fill their shoes.

She turns her attention towards Shaggs, a soft look upon her face.

Our city suffered two great losses today and while it is with a heavy heart that I accept this position, it is also with great pride. I feel like St Louis is my baby. A place that I've helped to raise up from its inception, watch grow into something I couldn't even imagine, producing so many amazing leaders and crew members alike. In a time when people are wondering about and questioning our city, I have the opportunity to help show them there is no need for doubts or questions. There is only a need for support, hard work and a willingness to ensure St Louis' success.

Thank you for this opportunity for me to play an active, hands on role in shaping the city I've come to love as my own. I vow to follow in the steps that have been laid before me by all the great leaders who have passed through here and to make a few new footprints of my own. When people hear the name Star Crossed Thievery Corporation they will associate it with bravery, honor and well maybe a bit of fear for their possessions.

Now if you'll all excuse me, I've got an HQ to get to... I do believe I can hear the sound of the champagne corks popping now...

Cassiopeia removes her glasses, tilting her head towards the sky as she remembers the ones that have gone on before her, paving the way, making this moment possible. Then she turns towards her hands, her smile widening.

Francie steps up to the front of the crowd, with pride and joy.  She extends her arms to the most beautiful, charming and kind soul she has ever had the privilege to know.  Somewhat nervous to speak, but so proud of her wonderful friend, Francie hugs Cassiopeia tightly.

"Cassiopeia, your bloodline and mine have been friends since my ancestors first stepped foot on these shores.  You are a natural born leader, and much like the Solomon of the bible, you have the wisdom and strengh that leadership demands.  Congratulations, and best wishes for a long and prosperous dominion."

Francie looks to DonnaMatrix and Maranatha.  "You ladies are the perfect complement to Cassiopeia.  Strong and powerful, kind and fair.  Good luck in every thing you strive to accomplish."

Is never easy building after a tragedy like this, but after watching you closely the last few months i know you are more then capable.  I wish you every success my friend and I know you  will shine in St Louis.

Many congratulations to my dearest Cassiopeia, if there is anyone in "this thing of ours" that deserves this, it is you. I hope you go all the way and light up the stars on your journey! The best of luck to you.

Congrats Cassi, It is always hard to take over under these circumstances but St. Louis certainly has the right woman for the job. I look forward to seeing your family grow along with our fine city.

We've been good friends for a long time now and I'm thrilled beyond words to see you in a nice bold suit. Ive always told you that you deserved your shot to shine, and now you have it. Sad that it come at teh death of a good friend, but I know you will do wonderful things for the city of St Louis.

Katie had heard that turmoil and tragedy had struck St. Louis once again as soon as she unboarded a plan and walked through the Chicago airport. Rumors were circulating around the criminal population of who would take the place of the fallen and if rumors were true, Katie wasn't going to miss it for the world. She immediately bought another plan ticket for St. Louis.

Once in the city, Katie made her way down to the streets where St. Louis's Godfther Cherokee came to speak to his public. She listened to the city's godfather speak and when he introduced his new auth, Star Crossed Thievery Corporation, Katie's mouth slipped instantly into a smile.

Congratulations Cassiopeia!

Katie shouted with the crowd. She watched Cassiopeia and her two lovely lady hands exit to get down to their new business. Later in Katie's St. Louis hotel room, Katie was on the phone with one of the local florists in town. She had placed an order to be sent to Cassiopeia and company. Three dozen bright yellow daises each to brighten their day. Katie added an extra tip to have the florist smuggle in a bottle of vodka to help with the celebration. She also included a note and read it to the florist over the phone.

To your new position in the city you helped build and to the many prosperous days ahead of you! Congratulations!

Katie smiled and ended the phone call hoping Cassiopeia enjoyed her gifts.

Cassiopeia can't help but smile at all the people who stopped by to wish her and her family well. As she makes her way through the crowd, shaking the hands of those who came out, she spoke.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support!!! I am so thankful to be given the opportunity to perform this new job and I am giving one hundred and ten percent to ensure the success of this venture!!!

One that has leaders with the potential to do great things.

Do you expect the city to just leave its members without a crew homeless?

No just stick them somewhere eles its to many fams

There are as many families as are needed. It's not as if there are a ton of families with five crew members just sitting around doing nothing. These crew leaders take their responsibilities seriously and provide a home to gangsters such as yourself that need a place to go. And it's kind of rude to come to someone's speech and disrespect them in the manner that you have. I don't really appreciate it very much.

Mara gives gangsta456 the evil death glare for daring to bother her most beautimous and uber smart boss lady. She hugs Cassiopeia and tips her feathered hat to the woman. Before walking off she makes a mental note to remember the the snotty little girl who spoke out of turn.

Maybe take a little breather there, Thumbelina. We're keeping the same number of crews... which if you look, is four. New York and Chicago still have us beat. I don't think we're going for total world domination. Just a nice even number.
