As many have now noticed Marcus has a gun malfuntion.  With his loss I am going to be authing SyrupWaffle.  I am sorry this is so short, but there is alot to do.

What a day, what a day.
Only this weekend we're celebrating our move to Detroit with a big festival to visit Marcus his funeral not even a week later.
This is a cruel world, we get reminded of it too often.

I am going to be honest with you, I did not dream or wish for a live as a CL at some point.
I was perfectly happy serving as RH to the city of detroit and to godfather Marcus.
But when something like this happens, a lot changes. You want to take care of your own and you get it together and fucking work with it. It's that simple.

How does one work with a godfather wackbacking though? We've never seen this in the history of our world. Crewleaders yes, but a godfather? No.
So tonight, skipping dinner with our spouses, we sat down. McDermott, Remus_Lupin, InspectorGadget and me. To figure things out.
When the key figure of a city leaves you in such an instant moment, foundations are tested. And Detroits foundation proved to be strong.

So, with mixed feelings, I am announcing my crew "The walking death" named after Marcus his crew, in his honor. Per tradition.

Said day to see Marcus fall.  At the same day I'm glad you are the one taking his place Syrup.  Congratulations all the same, you are best fit to fill the role of GodMother of Detroit.

Correction:  Congratulations on being Auth'd, not getting Godmother.  My mistake, all though I feel you deserve that  as well.

A terrible day for Detroit and those who knew Mr Marcus and I know out of anyone he would want to take over and continue his plans would be you.. congrats on this moment and I am sad it came like this, but business must go on so cherish it and prosper like Marcus would have wanted it too.

Hat held crumpled in his hands, Spuff was doing the rounds in Detroit having only recently departed from the funeral home where Godfather Marcus now lay. It was always tragic to see events like this unfold, but such were the risks involved with leading the life we did. We aren't actors, we aren't teachers, we aren't middle managers in a high street departmemt store. What we do is inherently dangerous, and it is only a matter of time until we all meet our end in one way or another. Still, that was hardly consolation to the family of the deceased.

SyrupWaffle, what can I say. I know that this is not how you would have liked things to happen, but I am certain that you'll approach the situation wholeheartedly regardless, and do a fantastic job. I believe it was Shakespeare who said be not afraid of greatness; some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them. Having this responsibility thrust upon you does not detract from the fact that you have earned your chance, and I sincerely wish you all the best with the task that has been so unexpectedly handed to you.

What can I say that hasn't already been said not even a week after celebrating Marcus becoming Godfather are we in Church mourning his death. A great loss for Detroit and this thing of ours, but I know we will all grow stronger from it.

SyrupWaffle you are going to do amazing in your new bold suit so I don't need to wish you luck or anything of the kind I just wish it was under better circumstances as I know you do. I know that you will strive to help Detroit flourish into the city that the late Godfather Marcus had visions for. I look forward to everything that our fine city will produce in terms of organised crime.
