Such a tale told of a great many things...High Society trailed off as he sipped his scotch.

...The tales told were of older times. Time of myth and legend. When Cracking Down on Criminals cost a man 100k on a bad day, and 50k on a great day. These were days where a man was not judged by the color of his money, but by the content of something else...and whatever that something else was, only cost him 50k.

As High Society drank from his glass he wondered, "What happened to do those days i wonder? Did the economy go belly up? Can we not afford such a life for the people now?  The tales of yesterday swell thoughts of how it could be again. He wondered would the people follow...

If i told you, i had an apple and i know i can sell that apple for a nickle, and i sell 5 apples for 5 nickles, I now have a quarter.

People like my apples so much the next week i say i will sell my apples for a quarter, then i make 5 quarters and now i have a dollar and a quarter.

You know High-Society, I remember my mother speaking of those times. I have to say it wouldn't be bad for those times to come back. I suppose though that most would argue inflation, just like the gas prices I had to pay today to fill up Premiers car. Geeze that about broke me. I shouldn't have ever asked to borrow it the other day.

Katana shrugs as she smiles thinking of when her mother ranted about the price of throwing people in jail was only 100,000. Then she laughed as she wondered what she would have said to over 300,000.

Katana, from the tales i've heard told, she was correct. I wish it were so once again.

If only my father knew of these times sir. I certainly think it would be amazing if for a week or so some of us new folks could get a taste of that life.
