I would like there to be a Mass Mail contacts button, Like the mass mail crew and mass mail city..

I know it can be done manually but it takes to much effort copying and pasting.

I feel this suggestion derived more from boredom than an attempt to better gameplay or roleplaying standards. Thus, I disagree. I feel that the current ability to mass mail people does take more effort and is a bit more complicated, with that being said, no regular joe is going to be massmailing 200 people with stupid things.

There is always a reason behind my madness...

I'll delve deeper into my reasons behind this then:

I'll use myself as an example...

I'm a crewleader in Las Vegas and a another fellow Junk_In_The_Trunk is another crewleader in Las Vegas, I have no way of contacting his members through massmail and no way to contact the members of the Godfathers in a mass mail.

If anything should happen to say Junk or the Godfather I wouldn't be able to contact the rest of the city quickly, if they were offline.

So if this option was available I would be able to manually set my contacts to be the members of Junks family and the members of my godfathers family therfore a good reason for this option...

Another reason?

A wiseguy who likes to play poker, has a nice few contacts, wants to play poker and needs to contact his friends and ask them if they wanna play...

There are endless things this option could be used for, if you use your brain...

I apologize for being old-fashioned, but I feel the later is simply laziness on the Wiseguy's part and I feel that IRC works in a much better fashion. IRC has always been a closely-integrated part of MR for reasons such as this. I'm not saying your family is bad with my next statement, but any decent family has a good protocol in order for when a leader is taken out and they have to respond quickly. Most of the time, it includes IRC.

I agree with IRC being the main interaction but lets face the facts, nobody wants to use it anymore, well at least most of the newcomers are not getting used to it because over half of the people that are on the site hardly use it and therfore for newcomers it looks like a dead town.

I do encourage the use of IRC but when people aint getting used to being on it, it's hard.

Having not been around for a while, I wouldn't know the shape of IRC. However, the few times I've been on it lately, it looks alive and kicking. I see your point for the need, however, I doubt the coders/admins will wish to put in the time to make something that already exists easier. Especially since, as I said, if it's easy to use new players will be using it to spam people and whatnot. Unless, of course, the ability was only given to CL's, GF's and those whom the CLs and GFs elected to have the ability, such as RH and LH.

We could always let contacts choose to accept contacts instead of just being able to contact anyone freely. Would solve that problem.

Perhaps. That would also limit communication.

I always see IRC filled and multiple conversations occuring in various rooms.

Indeed your right there is a selection of people but it used to be jam packed with people. You would understand if you had been around IRC for years. It's died in comparsion to what it used to be like...
