This system is works with the assistance of paypals instant notification system. Paypals version of "instant" and ours are different. See, when you go through their "checkout system", the final step is for them to automatically notify our system that it is complete, and to launch the jail. Most of the time this process takes place a few seconds to a minute after you are done in the checkout. However, sometimes Paypal becomes bogged down or has issues... when this happens, it may take 5 minutes.... and in some cases even longer for their system to execute your lockdown. We soon will be coding in a failsafe and notification system to help in the future events of paypal running behind and slowing down the process. Long story short, 99% of the time, jails are near instant. That final 1% of the time that paypal 's IPN system is bogged down - please be patient, your jail may take a little bit before its started. After a few people read the above and couldn't make heads or tails..... Summary: Yes, jails work. They are working now. They are working tomorrow. They are working 3 months from now. Every now and then (So far, about 3-4 times since october) paypal gets slow and had delivered jails much later than they should have happened. |
