The other day I figured I'd take a look at the time I've spent on MafiaReturns LLC. So like any other user, I went to Manage/Profile and scrolled done to the bottom of the page.

At present:

Not alot of time considering my character is 192 days old (You can do the math from state date to last active or look at the crew page). So, I decided to take a look at look at the ratio of time spent to total time I've had since: Start Date: Jul 26, '10 20:44

Calculations:

255.71 hours / (192 days * 24 (hours/day)) = 0.05549262152777777777777777777778

So roughly 5.6 percent of my time since July 26th has been invested here. How about you?

Calculating minutes/day for you guys:

0.055 (5.5%) x 24 (hours a day) = 1.32 hours/day

1.32 (hours/day) x 60 (minutes) = 79.2 minutes a day. Sal_Giaquinto spends an average of 1 hour, 19 minutes a day playing MR.

HarleyQuinn just started so... not accurate.

0.095 (9.5%) x 24 (hours a day) = 2.28 hours/day

2.28 (hours/day) x 60 minutes = 136.8 minutes a day. LondonJohn spends an average of 2 hours, 16 minutes a day playing MR.

Now me:

0.023 (2.3%) x 24 (hours a day) = 0.552 hours/day

0.552 (hours/day) x 60 minutes = 33.12 minutes a day. I spend an average of 33 minutes a day playing MR :P Can anyone beat that?

Aye, I figured out my overall time since it wasn't really accurate to count this character.  I started back on Feburary 20th, 2010.  My total time here is 841.89. So that's 350 days total.

350*24= 8400

8400/841.89=9.97%

Almost 10% of my year was spent here.

Been around for about 47 days or so but don't really feel like doing all that math though. My time is more well spent playing a certain game...

You cannot possibly have played an average of 13 hours, 40 minutes A DAY on your character. That gives you rougly 10 hours a day to sleep, eat, and work/school.

TwentyCharacterLimit, you talk as if I'm the only person on this game a lot. There are easily people on here with more hours than me in less time. Or just around the same. So I came out here and decided to share how much time i've had on here. And most of that isn't even me really playing. It's me having MR open in the browser but I'm playing xbox with friends or doing school work or working out. So do me a favor and just shut up and don't come out here and talk shit to me when you have no idea about my life.

Using the argument that there are bigger addicts on here than yourself does not make you any less of an addict. I use the term 'addict' lightly, as it could easily be interchanged with a more caustic or disparaging word, such as 'loser,' but I see how sensitive you are about this.

In retrospect, this wasn't intended to be a roast on you but moreover a tongue-in-cheek observance of our habits, as I'm sure was Sal's original intention. This thread was not intended to be serious and, frankly, if you must be, then you should hop on over to the Streets for that.

All-in-all, whether I use the term 'addict' or 'loser' is irrelevant to the point. Your defensiveness towards my response exhibits a sort of insecurity. Why would you take what I say to heart if you and I are simply strangers? My opinion should mean nothing to you since you - and only you - will know the true basis of how you spend your time, but you don't owe us an explanation for it.

If you can't handle the repercussions or hold your own, then don't post. If you can't take the heat, then stay out of the kitchen.
