The roar of the crowd could be heard all around in Philadelphia and he felt the change in the air, there it was, all these people had come together for him and he knew this change was a big thing for all of them. Over two-hundred men, not including the fifty prospects that had ridden here as well. There was something about this man, the man they called President, the man they would look too, the man that was Estarossa Pincheel...the next Fallen Angel, cast out of the host by his brothers. As if he was Lucifer himself, and now he was going to be leading his fallen brethren. "Do you trust this brother? The man was away from this brotherhood for a long time and here we are, rumours are saying that the host is gearing up, waiting for our big attack. They want us to know that they're still the top dogs around here, I wonder what Oliver was thinking coming here. It was a mistake some people say, so many Presidents, so many VPs, our club could die here before it even gets the chance to thrive..." A lone member of the newly departed Seattle Faction of the Ballard charter spoke out, Oliver being the overall ruling President of the Seattle Chapter. No one fucked with them in Seattle, the MC conducted business secretly and had no trouble with the authorities. Not even bribing them either, they were one of the luckier chapters. People in Vegas and Los Angeles, they were less so and it showed with their luck. "Oliver is doing what he needs to do, if you want to patch out, it means that you're going to be hunted down by many other MCs. Not just the ones on your radar right now. Many other fucking gangs will and could be ready to put a bullet in your dome, you have to be ready for this shit man...its a brotherhood and we follow our president to the end...unless you want to pass a vote of no confidence and assume the chair." The two brothers went silent as they both heard the roar of some motorcycles and knew that many other chapters were arriving. It was becoming an annoyance to the locals, not like they could do anything about it right now. It was time for something different everyone had agreed, only then, a couple more had rolled through and everyone went quiet. Riding in with an eyepatch was Estarossa, backed by Antonio, Jury and Konnor. Now it was not every day that you saw this type of solidarity but brotherhood be damned, if Antonio had defected, it had meant something serious was going down. Many people didn't know the true story behind why Estarossa was cast out, they were going to find out now and they had a feeling this was not going to a good story. Esta had removed himself from his bike, immediately being crowded by a few brothers and he noticed a few patches in the crowd. Lin, President of the Tacoma Charter, Oliver stood by him as well. Then there was many other that he could not place right now, he hugged a few of them before being directed over into the clubhouse that had been sorted for them. It was here that everyone noticed the disgusted stare that Esta was giving the former patch that had been sewn in on his back, the white angel wings. The sign of their brotherhood, the very sign that he had chosen to define him and his club. It was now something that he hated, the very look was not something that anyone would forget before they all went back to talking, deciding to wait for when the church meeting was called. "Many of them are wondering what they did or why they are being called here to a traitor's backyard. They've been deceived, we'll have to make sure they know the truth of the matter. Some presidents showed up though, even those with that patch on them, they don't know about the situation but they disagree with what they're trying to force through." Esta nodded as he stood at the bar, pouring himself a glass of bourbon, he knew what this was in truth. It was the place in which his father had once made his own, The Policy, the once gambling den of South Philly, now changed and had been rebuilt into the clubhouse that would be the HQ for the Philly chapter of the Fallen Angels. "No one is going to see me as the same man, I haven't even spoken to my children...did Joseph call actually?" Jury smiled, there he was. While many would not believe it, there was something to Estarossa, he wished to care for his children. The last remaining legacies to a name past its prime, the Maldonado and Pavanno families, merging in what was nothing short of the true expansion in which the family deserved. "Yes, they're doing well. Salvatore misses you though, supposedly, he's still just a little tyke. I have to protect his old man and I am not going to be attending the funeral of another brother anytime soon. Either way, focus up, we can discuss your family after. Joe does want you to call and let you know how he is, right now though, we gotta get to this meeting...the brothers want to know what is next for them and their respective chapters under you." He sighed, looking to the doors that held the table and he walked through, deciding to look at it for the first time. There he noticed the words that he had in mind for the club, 'Brains Before Bloodshed...' And yet there was going to be plenty before they were done, this life was not something that he enjoyed sometimes, he wished for the peace of life and he knew, there was something with him...he knew what this life gave. A part of him enjoyed the feeling of this fucked up life, the one that had been thrust into his lap and he had never looked back. Maybe he had no room to talk, cause he knew that a part of him enjoyed the bloodshed, the power that came with cementing yourself as the next top dog and here he was taking the steps to it...his life as President was just beginning and he had an army of people to command. "Are you ready brother? The Presidents are waiting for the meeting right here in the chapel, they're going to be needing as much as you do. You're telling the truth here and they will question, be ready for this, we all need you on this." Estarossa nodded, bowing his head as he did so. Deciding to sit down in the head chair, a feeling settled over him and he knew what it was. The pressures of leadership, they were already on him and he would handle them like a Commander would for his soldiers... |
