The Answer Started by: Estarossa on Oct 26, '19 17:23

Jury felt a fury come over him and he knew that it was unlike anything he had ever felt before. The peace that he had once held in the name of Estarossa Pincheel, it was all but a fool's hope and he would have to see that now. Brothers looked at him waiting for his call, the reports had come in that the slaughter of Pack and his club had been carried out, then business in Peoria, Illinois. Things were kicking off and it did not seem like time would wait for them now.

Roger decided to call the meeting, the charter presidents not involved with their own personal beefs had decided to make their way up to the East Coast. They had answered the call and now it was time for the words of the acting President to be heard by all of them. It was not what they liked but they needed to hear now, the Philly Charter members had decided to remain around Saint Mathew's hospital in case any news of Estarossa broke through that Jury wouldn't be able to come through and hear about in person.

"Brother, they all just got here and I don't think they're all too pleased about coming here. They answered the call out of respect, this right now is not something they would like to see happen. They want their peace back, I would suggest we deliver our final promise on wiping out these fuckers. The Detroit charters all folded because Pack wasn't leading them, what are you going to do about the rest?"

Jury sighed for a moment, he actually didn't know what he was going to do about the rest of them. All he knew was that he had the gathered resources to bring this thing through. A lot of the old heads wouldn't like this but it is what needed to happen and nothing was going to stop him from delivering the justice that Estarossa as National President deserved.

Mutters and whispers were heard all around the table, the Buffalo Charter chapel was filled with so many voices. So many patches and they were all here ready to see what Jury had to say about what was to come next. Many of them didn't trust Jury, he was a lucky patch who sunk his claws into Estarossa or that is what they thought of the very least.

And finally the man had stepped into the chapel, his eyes on the seat that awaited him. Only he did notice that what would have been his usual chair was not occupied. He walked around the table as he heard the mutters and snorts among his so-called brothers, the gavel that rested there. The business end of this life, what happened, what awaited them was all down to this democracy.

Jury sat down and he knew that many of them would see that it was his Vice-President seat. That did not lessen the burden, it simply gave him peace of mind, he knew what sitting down in that chair would have represented. It would have meant that he didn't believe Estaorssa was going to make it, only he didn't believe that, his brother was strong and the man was one of the greatest to ever hold his office. He would never do his would-be predecessor justice.

"Brothers, I know you have all been waiting for me to deliver a final say on what we will be doing, I am here to give you what you all deserve and that is the end of this bloody business. I have spoken with our outside allies, they are ready to provide assistance with putting an end to our would-be killers. So I am here to put it to a vote, all in favour of putting an end to the Heavenly Host?"

Jury sat all alone, the table was quiet and for once he had enjoyed it, all the charters had voted and he did not feel alone. This is what they had decided, someone would have been disappointed that it took this long. No one was more disappointed than he was, it left his club open to the assaults, just like Mendoza wanted and now he has woken the beast. No one would dare to challenge them now, it was the end of an era between the Host and the Fallen Angels.

Only one club would come out of this, they would need to be smart and prepared. No matter the number of Allies they had, this would prove to be one of the battles that only had a true survivor of battle coming out, New York's Seda, the Russians, and Colombians. On their side, one would think that they were stacked and Mendoza was an idiot for even trying to fight them. Only Mendoza kept fighting, either he had something up his sleeve or he had big balls.

"Brother, we got the call, Peoria is a go and they're doing it. They are taking down Azteca President, Phillipe. They will be crippled, we have the right of this. Don't think that none of us didn't know what you did in this meeting. You have to prepare for that possibility, it may be you that ends up sitting there brother. You will have to earn their respect, you're the president right now. Act like it, lead us and tell us what you need us to do."

Jury looked up at Givern, any day now, all the charters would be crossing the border and that was going to be the day that it ended for all of them. This needed to happen, he repeated in his mind and all he could do was keep himself seated in the chair, he looked away.

"I know, this is one of the times where we all sit and we think for a moment. This is our moment as Presidents that define us and this is going to define me, I've given them the answer they want. Is it worth the bloodshed that is going to come after?"
