The Good Times: Let 'em roll Started by: Estarossa on Oct 28, '19 19:30

"That's a fucking no go amigo, I'd have to talk to a guy, who knows a guy, who knows another guy, who then knows another guy, who knows Ramirez for the sitdown that you'd want to discuss with them. This kind of business, it could get you guys killed, it ain't the correct business for you guys to be in, man."

Esta rolled his eye, he looked at Six as best as he could with a single eye. It still bothered him but he knew that he was not going to be getting any treatment soon at the latest. Still, he made sure to get it looked at, make sure that it wasn't affected or anything as of right now. He was glad it was okay.

"You say this every time man, this business ain't long term. The Society knows that and so does everyone we're working with, FAMC ain't doing this for the long term, we're getting out soon enough anyway. We found a warehouse, along with some other things, we're going to be opening an adult entertainment studio. I haven't brought it to the clubs but this is just for the Philly Clubs, sex sells as some people say."

This time Six rolled his eyes, he knew that Esta always had a plan. The drugs were short term and here they were, planning to get out of it, some of the society that they worked with, it would most likely get passed to another charter. One that had no problem working with the cartel, syndicate and other people that would probably join the alliance.

Report Post Tip

"That's the plan and for this plan to go forward, you might need the Tribe? That's a big ask brother, what about other avenues? Anything that can be used instead of going to Ramirez and his band of hellish bastards who wish to carve out any piece of territory that they could from you guys if they could."

Esta sat down, his eye closing softly. He knew what needed to happen now. This was going to be the end for all of them, this one last run of drugs, the last shipment and he knew that was what it took. They could finally get into the adult entertainment business, after this one shipment and he knew that would be it. They would be free of it all, Estarossa would lead his club down a different path, one that didn't involve carnage.

Report Post Tip

"Don't worry, Ramirez is simply a long plan away. We have a few things that we might be able to do before then, I'll need to be sure that you can provide this though brother. We will need him to make sure that this all works out for the greater good."

Esta sat there for a while, allowing Six to know that this was on him. They would need him to deliver what they wanted and needed from all of this. He was now a pivotal associate in the future of this club, whether it continued on the life of anarchy or proceeded into new greener pastures that would allow them to return home to their families in the future.

"I understand, brother."

Estarossa sat down at the table, his eyes closed as he thought over what was going to happen today. Misaki Serachi would be talking with his mother about the deal being brought to the table. This was different, every charter member was needed to discuss the prospects. All of three had done well in the Philly charter, Grim seemed to be a bit different for the prospects, he liked them well enough.

"Esta! Esta! Esta!"

Standing from his seat, he looked up and saw that Rai was looking for him in the clubhouse. He raised his eyebrow towards the prospect, everyone else looking at the kid worried as well. They had wondered what was wrong with him, it seemed like he had something important for him.

Report Post Tip

"What's wrong, kid? I didn't expect to see you here right now. I expected to find you with Grim when I rode back up there."

"The Haitians got hit, they lost a big shipment of heroin. They just wanted me to tell ya, plus we may have some trouble heading up here in a few weeks but besides that. I've got nothing."

That was a surprise to him, the Haitians getting hit was of no surprise in truth but the fact that it happened just as they had bought some guns from them. It could have been a slight suspicion, still, Esta couldn't help but shrug and decide to contact Ura later. Knowing the man, he would deny any kind of help but every little helped, just like it would now.

Report Post Tip

"Alright I want you to keep me posted on that, anybody looking to sell us some Heroin, let me or Grim know. We'll handle that on our lonesome. Other than that, I want you to keep an eye out, brother."

Rai nodded, heading on his way as he walked out of the clubhouse. Waving to his sister as he did so, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on between her and Estarossa, there seemed to be something, only now he wasn't so sure. It seemed that Estarossa was keeping her at arm's length and right now Rai was proud for that greatly.

"Fuck..."

A single word uttered by Esta sounded throughout the clubhouse as he sat down on a long leather sofa. His eyes narrowing on Tari as she tried to walk over, he held up his hand, signalling that he wanted to be alone. When shit seemed to be going so well, things worked out so differently in the end and here was proof of that. This life could have been so easier if he had just worked it out with his father, he thought.

The number of connections that the mob had would have been easy to secure an Adult Entertainment business, ten times over. Only that was not going to be possible now, the Pavanno name was no longer associated with the mob, at least to some extent. They were done with and for some time, he knew that he was okay with that. It meant that he was free, safe, away from the reputation of his father.

'How he changed the world in some ways but could never change what he was deep down, a murderer, a father, a mobster, an abused victim. A man who had suffered so many things and continued to prove how strong he was, I guess that is just one thing Pavanno men are good at, it was a great game while it lasted.'

Report Post Tip

Esta knew this was just the start though, he knew what his father said about being King. It was never easy, even for those who had it before, there were always new challenges and unless you could secure the bag, the money, the power, and the people around you, then you would always be something of a target.

Many regimes had tried that over the years, for a moment, a blinking second, Esta wondered if he would be one of those people. To kill all the gangs around him, until he could secure a proper future for his people. Something that allowed him peace of a mind for a second, only he knew that as much as that theory would have been a good one, it was something that he knew he could never go through with properly.

Report Post Tip

'How did these leaders do it? Fighting for what is right, fighting for their people and how they wish them to succeed for the future of our lives. This is what awaits us, this is what we have to do in order for us to persevere. Maybe this is what it will come to, I will make a choice that either protects the club or myself. I know what I will be choosing, one hundred percent."

Estarossa was brought of his private musing once he noticed that Tari had been calling for him, it seemed that it had been for quite a while as she stood in front of him.

"Oh yes, Tari, what is it?"

Report Post Tip

A smile was what she wore on her face, he could see the worry behind those caring orbs of hers, it was not something he would wish upon her but such was the fate of being in this club. You worried for your people like they were your brother, sister, mother or father. Everyone played a role and this is what made them so closely connected, they were a family through and through.

"I have Johnny on the line for you, I have to say, he sounds pretty excited."

Shaking his head with a laugh, Estarossa nodded in thanks to Tari, walking over to the telephone and picking it up as he heard some excited roars come from the phone. Well, holy shit, it seems Tari was right about that, he spared her a glance, giving her a quick smile.

Report Post Tip

"Brother, we did it, we fucking did it. We got the warehouse secured, we've done that and now we can move forward with the plan. He just called now, all we have to do is provide the investors. That should be simple enough."

And then it happened, Estarossa let out a whoop of joy himself, his eyes dancing and soon he was just mumbling, believing that they could finally make it. After this last shipment, they were done. It would all be over, he would be finished with this shit and he knew that it was going to be the end of their criminal activities.

"Fuck yes! Brother, we fucking did it, once Jury gets back from the North, we're throwing a fucking party man. We deserve it, finish the business you got there and we're done, we can finally get free of this business. That's all we've ever wanted man."

Report Post Tip

Grim let out a hum of agreement, to which Estarossa stated that he should get back to watching the assembly. So he hung up, allowing the patch to get back to watching the prospects.

Knowing that this would be the last of it, an end of the era for the Philadelphia Charter. They would no longer be moving a bunch of cocaine and guns for the high society, it would be a business where they themselves could possibly be in the High Society. A new chapter, a new era and it were all before them, they could almost taste it.

"Esta, we got a few cars pulling into the clubhouse."

Report Post Tip

He nodded towards Rai and a few of the other patches, motioning for them to follow him for now. He noticed the pitch-black cars, all rolling into his territory. He could see that they were not hostile, he wondered who it was for a second, it could have been any of their competitors, looking to give a neighbourhood warning to them.

"Be easy brothers, don't worry, I'm wearing a vest, I ain't going down without a fight this time."

They all smiled at the bit of dark humour, Esta always joked now about his possible death. It seemed to follow him, almost like he was being tested to see how far his will could be broken. It was almost a miracle that he hadn't died, everyone was cheering when they found out he was alive, almost like their President was an immortal being walking among them.

Report Post Tip

Soon the car doors had opened up, stepping out was a few Russians, wearing dark-suited trenchcoats, they looked a bit more intimidating. Only then a man who was radiating power stepped out, he was younger and looked to be about the same age as Estarossa, they both watched one another for a small moment, deciding that they should approach one another.

"Darko Putlova, just what brings you here, brother?"

Darko stood there with a blank face before he broke out into a grin, hugging Estarossa for all he was worth at that moment. It had been a long while since they last saw one another, he was glad to see his friend after so long. The stories that he had heard did little to ease him, he would have ridden into the states, wishing to murder the enemies that would dare step to his brother, Only he saw him, he could see that he was safe.

Report Post Tip

"I'm here because of the stories I hear..the stories that tell me the last Pavanno heir is dead, the ones where your name is whispered with nothing but awe, you have a long time till you die, brother. It's why I came over, my father is expanding his operations. He wants me to head up the Putlova Syndicate here in the United States."

Estarossa raised an eyebrow, Viktor hadn't said anything about that. The Old man must have been losing his touch or something along those lines but seeing his friend here, safe. It was all that mattered, the two of them were brothers like Esta was with the patches behind, he wrapped an arm around his shoulder, directing him into the clubhouse.

"So besides the expansion out west, what brings you to this clubhouse specifically? Besides me, I wanna know what you've been up to friend."

Report Post Tip

Darko smiled, he seemed to enjoy the look on Estarossa's face, he seemed to be a bit pissed that he was out of the loop for this. It was something that Darko felt as well when Esta didn't contact them or anything about the hits, they knew that he was holding back. Only to then suddenly pick up production once more, sending double the profit and continuing like nothing went wrong, no the young president had to know this would send alarms.

"I've been brought to make sure that we have another distributor for our guns, we know that you wish to break away. We've always had a good relationship with the Pavanno Family and now, Fallen Angels Motorcycle Club. My father has respected that arrangement, we'd also like to be shown a little respect and see which charter is best to play distributor for our hardware."

Report Post Tip

It was true, everyone knew that. The Putlova Syndicate was one of the few organizations that had entered to business with the Pavanno's not due to blood or a threat but because it was profitable for both of their organizations, now it allowed them some good business. It was an arrangement that everyone knew was one of pure respect from both angles.

"We have a few actually that are wishing to take on the sole supply of the Russian Hardware. We have our Chicago, Buffalo, Albany, and Tacoma charters. All of them are wishing to gain an in here, they want to know what they can to do to make sure they get it. So It's up to you guys, who has the better market and which market you stand to make the most monies in."

Darko raised an eyebrow, it was not every day that the Russians had so many people wishing to take on the guns. It was a dangerous business some said, only it seemed like they could handle it. Darko raised his hand for a drink, noticing the Asian beauty walking towards them, he smiled at her, noticing how she smiled back, it was friendly.

Report Post Tip

"I'll talk to my father, I would love to talk to each of these charters and see what we could for one another going forward. Something like is crucial to the organization, I hope you know that. Plus...we have the last shipment coming for you, then you're free."

Estarossa nodded, he had thought about that for a while, his boys and him. The Fallen Angels themselves wouldn't be free from the gun business, that was a bit too much. Everyone knew that the Russians relied on them for the guns trade, just as the others did. It was something that couldn't be allowed to happen from here.

Report Post Tip

"Anything else that you came here for Darko? You seem tense and a bit different from how you're handling things."

Darko looked at his men, telling them to go off and drink. They nodded, watching their boss for a second, deciding to leave him as they knew that he was hardly himself these days. He seemed to become more closed in, deciding to not involve them with the business that much. Only allowing them to protect him from people who would be considered threats, something that the heir to the Putlova fortune appreciated.

"Shit has changed in the past couple of months, I have some problems taking over the family business. My pop is sick, the doctors are saying that this is going to be his final year with us. He is training me to take hold of the family, even if my sister wishes to take the reins herself. She believes that I will not be the heir that our father needs."
