Many of you I see ont he streets are in a family. Someone who protects you from death in time of war, somone who will fight tell death for you. Youn work hard, donate when you can and be polite for what? The person up top getting rich and us slaves getting the bums rush. How often do you talk to another crew thats under the same godfather.

Some of what your saying is shady, but if you prove your worth in the family and do what they say there is no reason why you wouldn't have been promoted. You work for your family, donate for your family, no matter how long it takes for you to get a break. Thats what La Cosa Nostra is all about, when you get up into the upper tier of your family hierarchy, thats when oppertunities arrive. If you felt ill done by then you should have done some research and find out why you were being held back and then try to work and fix your problems. The people that rank up will in time get oppertunitys throughout their lives to get much stronger and more involved.

It just takes time and this is another reason why you should carefully pick the family thats right for you at the begining of your lives. That is the sort of thing that this La Cosa Nostra offers you that you shouldn't really be offered, the families around here should be looking you and not the other way about but thats how things work.

Motioning out of the shadows, as the light ember of his cigar faded a tall welldressed man appeared.  His large frame seemed like he should be on the doors of one of the local clubs, but as he cleared his throat his soft calm but deep voice came as a surprise.   The light reflecting of his olive skin, as the stubbled, worn face and bloodshot eyes show he has been busy working hard.

Recruitment is a big thing in this business and the motivations of climbing the ladder are glittered with gold.  Unfortunately, like everyone can't be a doctor or lawyer, not everyone can be made.  The idea of being made is a reward for your sacrifice and work to the family, and not something just to be done lightly.  We work in a business where we need many different types of people for different roles, and is a learning process exploring each of them like any other job.  There is a steep learning curve, with what many find a simple mistake, the final one you can ever make.  Instead of complaining and reacting with why am i not made, maybe look and think what else can i do for the family  to deserve being made.
