Late in the evening on a chilly cold night in Philly, Dolph and Keyglock made their way to the headquarters with a trunk full of 'work' .. It was unusual for Dolph to be in the car with so much drugs at one time, but when people call out sick from their routes, Dolph had to step in and see to it that business was handled.. Things had been running smooth since his flight back from New York the previous week, and now that the Braxton ordeal was solved.. It was back to business as usual.. Ron Davis' was still in hiding, he knew he couldn't show his face or he would likely get gunned down on sight.. "Aye yo boss, you seen that cop posted on that corner back there? Sketch as fuck.." Keyglock said as he peered in the mirror "Relax homie, we paid the police their cut this month.. they straight."
It was about another ten minutes before the car was pulling into the carport at the headquarters just down the street from Thornton's Tavern.. "Give Rodney a call and let him know to come and pickup the shipment.." Dolph said as the car came to a park and he killed the ignition "You got it boss"
Since the death of Billy Mastrosimone in New York, Dolph transitioned his entire operation over to Philadelphia and pulled out of the Bedford-Stuvyesant burrough. It was a smart move although New York remained in the mafia's hands, Rodney was needed back in Philadelphia to run operations in Society Hill.. The Clinton boys were rumored to retake back control of Bedford, and that Ron was leading them.. but it was the least of Dolph's worries at this moment.. his main concern was making money. |

An hour later as Dolph and Keyglock walked to his Tavern just down the block, a dark sedan drove by.. slowing down when they passed by the entourage on the street and speeding up when they finally passed by.. It was definitely odd but after one of the guards brandished a weapon the car seemed spooked and sped off down the block and turned off a few streets down.. "You seen any of their faces?" Dolph questioned the men as they continued walking "Nah, too dark out here boss.. but seems they gone now.. hopefully it stays that way.."
Dolph knew better than that, it was definitely a group of goons looking to cause some trouble, he was just hoping they decided against it as they were deep in their territory.. The group continued to walk and make jokes as they conversated, but Dolph spotted that car slowly creeping up to a stop sign up ahead.. He froze in his footsteps and when he saw the lights go dark, he yelled for his men to shoot as he ran for cover behind some cars nearby.. The gunfire erupted in the streets as Dolphs goons unloaded their clips into the car as it sped by.. only one person appeared to shoot from the car before it was rained on with gunfire and sped away again.. "Fuck! let's get out of here.."
Dolph said to Keyglock who was ducking behind the car with him as his bodyguards gave a slight chase down the block.. It gave them the opportunity to make a run for it down the street the rest of the way to Thornton's tavern and to safety.. |

In the back room of Thornton's Tavern, Dolph and Keyglock gathered around with his entourage as they all caught their breath from running the few blocks to safety.. Nobody had caught a glimpse of the shooters, and it was really unclear as to who it may even be.. But Dolph had a strange suspicion it may be some shooters from New York, specificaly The Clinton Boys.. Ron Davis, their leader, had been in hiding for some time now.. but it was rumored he had re-emerged and took over Bedford following Dolphs departure, but with no confirmed sightings it was something he had brushed to the side.. that was until now.. "You all good homie?" Keyglock said out of breath as he interrupted Dolph's train of thought "Yea.. I'm all gucci homie.. just trying to rap my brain around who would want us dead.. there's only one name that comes to mind.." There was a brief pause as Keyglock shook his head and punched one of the wooden crates that he was leaning up against "That bitchass Ron Davis.. I knew the rumor was true.. that lil bitch ass mark ain't gonna quit until either you or him is in a bodybag boss.."
Keyglock was right, there was only one way to solve this problem.. He walked outside, followed closely by Keyglock, and found the payphone right out front.. he continued to look both ways in case the car decided to return.. Dolph waited a few minutes as the dial tone rang.. finally the other line picked up and he spoke into it.. "Yea this is Dolph, I got a problem and I need your services, name's Ron Davis.. look into it and send me a kite with the amount and I'll see to it you get paid."
Dolph quickly hung up the phone and walked back into the Tavern with a big smirk on his face.. He ain't never had a problem he couldn't solve with a murderer. |

The following day as Dolph shuffled through his paperwork down at Paper Route Services did a loud knock come at his office door, Keyglock quickly entered carrying a sealed envelope.. He had a smirk on his face as he handed it over to Dolph who quickly snatched it from his hands. He quickly read through the note and smiled as he set it down on his desk and leaned back in his chair and let out a big deep sigh.. "So was that from the hitman? What did he say?" Keyglock questioned "250 grand, he want it put in a trashcan at this address by noon today before he will take on the contract.." Dolph slid the paper across the desk towards Keyglock who picked it up and then read through it himself "Make sure you take the cash down there before that time today.. and do it yourself.. I don't trust anyone with that kind of cash but you."
Dolph turned and opened his safe.. A duffelbag was neatly placed nextt o the safe already and Dolph just began tossing stacks of cash into it until he reached 250k.. He turned and placed it on the desk and nodded at Keyglock who took it and left without saying another word.. The plan was in motion.. |

The following day, Dolph had woken up early as he couldn't sleep with everything on his mind.. he let out a loud yawn before throwing himself out of bed and doing his normal morning routine.. piss, coffee, and then finally sitting down in his chair to read the newspaper.. It was just about a normal morning as it could get until he got o page 5 of the newspaper where his eyes went wide.. "Suspected crime lord shot dead while eating dinner" .. as he scanned for the name, it was sure enough Ron Davis... Dolph tossed the paper down on the desk and let out a sigh of relief as his former rival was gone.. It was amazing how quick this man worked, but he was given the number some time ago by a close friend of his and was told to call it if he ever had a 'problem needed solved' .. he jumped up and walked over to the phone and dialed out... "Hello, Mr. Braxton? It's me.. Mr. Thornton, come and swing by my office tonight around 5pm.. I have that package you ordered specially last time we spoke.."
Dolph said a few more words before hanging up the phone with a big wide grin on his face.. Today was going to be a good day... |

Later that day around 5pm, Willie Braxton showed up right on time outside of Mr. Thornton's establishment.. Dolph watched from his window as he exited the vehicle and carefully looked around to make sure he wasn't seen walking into his establishment.. Dolph chuckled before releasing his fingers from the blinds and taking a seat at his desk in anticipation for Willie to come walking through the door which took an extra few minutes.. "Hello Mr. Thornton" he said as he emerged finally through the door and walked over to shake his hand "I guess you have some good news for me, well both of us" he said sharply as he finished and sat down in his chair "Yes, Mr. Davis is dead.. he was gun down late last night.. it took some time to track him down but I finally managed to find him..." Dolph said before he paused and leaned forward "I hope this makes us square.. you and I..." Willie smirked before pulling his pack of smokes from his pocket and sticking one in his mouth and lighting up.. "Excellent work, you and I are going to make a good team.. see.. I told you we would talk about that.. and well.. I just cant let you walk free.. you murdered my brother. You are going to work for me now, I got use for a man of your talents.." he said chuckling "See, I was afraid you would say that." Dolph said as he shook his head and leaned back in his chair, glaring into Willie Braxtons eyes "Whle I admit, I killed your brother.. and that was a horrible thing to do.. there is one thing you should have learned with all those years of practicing law Mr. Braxton.. and that is never trust a criminal..." Dolph smirked and looked over at Keyglock who was hiding behind the door.. He abrubtly shut it and startled Willie who turned and looked straight into the barrel of Keyglocks pistol and before he could mutter a word the gun went off in his face, sending his blood and brain matter flying back all over the wall and carpet as his lifeless body slumped backwards onto the floor.. Dolph stood up and walked to the other side and picked up the burning cigarette in the man's hand and put it out in the ashtray... "Hope you have a nice trip to the afterlife, bitch."
Dolph spat on the lifeless body before stepping over it and ordering Keyglock to dispose of the body. Two birds, solved in one stone. |
